Nothing really all that new here. Irritating start with a horrible stealth intro. Typical on the rails kinda shooter If you're a fan of the series (I'm not) you might like this game but otherwise it's a pass. The big problem is that's it's way too short, it relies on too many cinematics, and the level layouts are uninspired.

Very disappointing game. I don't know how people say the graphics are awesome in this game as they look like they were done by a group of elementary children. The main character is slow and clunky and through the game you feel like you are walking in quicksand all the time. If you fail by falling, etc you are sent back quite a bit too which is also frustrating. The game is not intuitive in its layout and controls. After playing less than an hour I got very bored with this game and uninstalled it. Total waste of time and money. This is typical of the small "indie" games found on Steam these days.

This game is highly overated. The controls are horrible and you are forced to play on a gamepad to get any kind of accuracy. The storyline is boring and has nothing to do with Middle earth really. It's a grind ****. And did I really need to see his kid and wife getting their throats cut in the intro, I mean really?

I suppose at this point I dont really need to "Pile on" the bad reviews, BUT this game was very disappointing. It has such potential on the PC but fails with all the graphics issues and bugs.

Interesting concept but is linear and has a large number of display bugs. Lots of "tearing" in the graphics settings with no way to fix them in the video settings. This game plays and feels like a cheap "Kickstarter" game.

A good game. Yes the graphics and music are amazing but what makes a game good is game play and replay value. This game has no replay value at all and can be easily completed in a casual day or two. The game mechanics are very over and over again style: You watch tiny characters walk across a backdrop for 30 seconds, then either a "interactive" dialogue box pops up (which doesn't have much effect on the game play), or you get into a battle with guys in armor. The story is alright but my big complaint is the repetitious game play and the fact the you only fight two kinds of enemies: giants & vikings, or the weird black armor guys. I would have like to see them travel on the map without rail-roading me one way on the map. I never felt in control of the game that much. The character development (stats, etc.) didn't run very deep either. I felt like leveling them up wasn't exciting or a big deal. It felt to me that I was more worried about running out of supplies than being challenged in combat, etc. This game has all the earmarks of becoming a spectacular game but it needs to be less linear and have much more depth both in combat, character leveling, exploration, etc. But for now, it feels like a half-baked indie title that's all eye and ear candy with no actual filling. The price of $25 on steam for this game I think is also a bit high considering how small in scope it is. As it stands this game should be selling for under $10. So in short I applaud their efforts but its needs to be filled out more and definitely a better "last battle" that is longer than 2 minutes to play.

A Good game. Bottom line if you don't like repetitious hack and slash 3D games with a lot of gore, violence, and dark humor, then pass on it. Myself I do like all those things so it was very enjoyable. I've gotten about half way through the game so far. I give it a few marks down for being repetitious but otherwise a great game. I don't see why there are negative reviews of this game other than the fact that it is very gore laden and it's humor is VERY adult and dark, not a game for kids under 16-17.

Wow, are you kidding me, $20 for a "season" pass for this way too short DLC! (Only took me a few hours to finish). Levels are not that interesting, etc. Story was good, but gameplay was just over-used same-old same-old. No originality. I hope number two is way longer and more original and challenging. It just seems like ever since the original BioShock 1, the team has been trying to capture the same "lightning in a bottle". This is typically the case in MANY franchises that try to crank out sequel after sequel. After this I'm doing buying into this series, peace out!

If you love D&D and MMORPGS you'll love it. However I can say that after hitting the max level and playing all the quests, it's just plain boring as there is hardly any social aspects of the game like there is in WOW. Play this if you want to play solo or like dungeon PUGs, etc. Pay for the "founders" pack so you can start with decent gear and a mount, etc. I have suspended my acount but when the expansion packs come out I'll start it again, kind of what I do with WOW now.

What a total bore this thing was! The other expansion packs have been quite interesting but it seems that this and the new +11 level ultra pack2 just plain ****. If you're buying this on Steam with the season pass I guess it's worth it, but I recommend playing this pack with low expectations. The pirate expansion, the arena battles, and other packs are far better made. thumbs down!

NOthing against this game but it's ANOTHER old tired game that was released in 1980 in the arcades and someone is now making a ton of money on it simply by running a MAME or similiar emulator on it. No REAL things have been added here, just stupid pics and extras we don't care about. I'm tired of seeing this stuff being released when the M.A.M.E. community has had this and its partner game out there for FREE for YEARS!
