Apparently, some of my fellow users think that showing a different reality than being white and middle class is somehow "woke". This film was a lot of fun and does a great job of showcasing a different culture and how people can be noble and heroic, no matter who or where they're from.

This movie is prove that Zack Snyder is an amazing director but a lousy writer.

No Spoilers: Let's be honest here: the main draw of this story is its two lead actors, and both of them do a terrific job. I did like the story, but one could argue it's just an excuse to have these two amazing actors on screen. Think of it as watching a play in the theater that you already know: you don't go to see it for the story, but for the acting.

It's a fun movie. It has some plot holes, but also some nice twists and a few touching moments. Thankfully, it doesn't have so many jokes as other recent Marvel movies (e.g. Thor Ragnarok), which is actually welcome. For me, it's on the "good" side of the genre's spectrum.

It is a beautifully filmed but pretentious movie that tries to be deep and fails as much as it fails to be entertaining. The premise is interesting, but the story never takes off and in the end, it felt like I wasted two hours.

Lets be honest and have some perspective, people: this movie is neither a 0 nor a 10. I'd say it's a 4 at worst and a 7 at best. Personally, I enjoyed it very much, it creates a very tense atmosphere, and considering its humble budget ($100,000) and that this is the first effort from its creators, I'd say it deserves some credit.
