Beautiful game with original inspiration and breathtaking audiovisuals, but the appeal doesn't stop there - its gameplay feels fresh and polished, too. It took me about 4 hours to see the credits - I'd like to play even more of it, but I wouldn't say it's a problem, the game has a great pace.

Sounds promising on paper, the first entry to the open world has a definitive "WOW" effect... And then, you find out the gameplay is clunky and tedious, the events are kind of "influencer based" together with the soundtrack that doesn't really work together well. In the end, the atmosphere is clashing between enjoying the vast snowy world & freedom of the mountain and that of riding in silly costumes with GoPro on the head and stressing about what brand is your jacket. I really tried to enjoy the game (as especially the freedom of downhill skiing looks beautiful!), I installed it twice over the years, but there is simply too much in the way actively keeping me from playing it the way I'd like.

Beautiful game, the audiovisual design is one of the best I've ever experienced! And the story is well presented, too. The first half of the game is a bit lighter gameplay-wise, but the second half works great as a platformer.
