It's been a long time since I played this game, but I just remembered it and was curious to see how it was rated. I'm surprised to see any positive reviews, because I thought this was one of the worst games I've played. I bought it and remember being highly disappointed. I would say avoid, but in the end it's your choice.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt7

It's a good game. Beautiful environments, great characters. Gore graphics are average. Frame rate tends to stutter during combat. Terrible load times after deaths. The button configuration is personally unfavorable, but that's my opinion. I think 7 out of 10 is a generous score. I'm not sure how it won game of the year for 2015... maybe it was the length of the game that earned it the title. Like I said, great game, but certainly not the funnest I've played for PS4. I would have loved if it had a first-person mode to give it a Skyrim-like feel, then again, I would love it if all games had optional 3rd person and first person views... I have no idea why game developers rarely include that option, but it should become commonplace... but back to this game review. Terrible load times and frame rate stuttering lowered my score for it.

Dying Light10

Dying Light is the funnest game I've played in a long time. When I read about the odd placement of the jump button, I had thought it would take some getting use to, but it was very easy to adapt to, and with the parkour elements, it's placement was understandably necessary. For me, though, this game's winning feature was the gore. As a gore hound, this game made me feel like a vampire bathing in a blood fountain during a blood moon lol. Splitting zombies apart every which-way was satisfying. The variety of weapons is great, as well as the traps, crafting, and parkour - which is just as well done as the Assassin's Creed games, though a little more difficult due to the first person view. If it had a downside, it would 2 minor glitches, one involving securing a specific safe house, and the enemies you are required to kill appear on the map and radar, but not in-game. This is fixed by exiting the game and continuing. The second glitch involves failing or restarting challenges, occasionally the character will "float away", but it's fixed by hitting the jump button. Other than these two minor glitches, I haven't experienced any other issues. The graphics are great, the environmental graphics are slightly better than face graphics, but it's up to par with other games on the PS4. Lastly, I don't have the best internet connection because I've foolishly gone wireless, but despite that, I've experienced only a few rare disconnects while playing co-op with a friend online. I did not notice any lag, however. It's a great game, and I highly recommend it. I've purchased "The Following" DLC, but have not touched it yet. I'll review it when I do. Until then, this game gets a 10/10 from me.

Shadow Man10
Feb 14, 2016
I could not find a review section for the Dreamcast version of the game, so I'll review it here... Shadow Man is my favorite game of all time. I don't quite know why I loved it so much, been a long time since I played it, but the story was great, and the music was awesome. I played the game for 2 days straight when I first got it, because I had just bought the Dreamcast and didn't have a memory card... which really **** when I fought the final boss. My second playthrough with a memory card was much easier though. I give this game a 10, and hope they remake the game or re-release it on the Playstation Store. 10/10

Killzone 25

This is my first game review... I'm playing KZ2 while my PS4 downloads an update for another game. This game is okay, but I'm not fond of the controls. X/Y sensitivity is sluggish, you cannot turn quickly while sprinting... and I prefer using O to crouch, but that's not an option in this game. The cover system is terrible, as is attempting to melee an enemy. Grenades are slow to toss, the pistol is slow to fire. Only being able to carry 1 heavy weapon kinda ****. Story-wise, I haven't been paying it much attention, I wouldn't call it captivating. Graphics were great. Enemies all sound the same. NPC allies are generally useless. I haven't beaten it yet, actually haven't played it in quite some time, as other games had captured my attention. I'd call it a disappointingly average game, so I'll give it a score that reflects my opinion. 5/10.
