Boring gameplay, boring story, boringly easy difficulty, outrageous mega evolutions and comically ugly graphics as you'd expect from another cheap 3DS engine installment. A major step back compared to Legends: Arceus. Every other monster-catching game on the market is better.

This is basically NOT Dragon Age. I have no idea why they didn't decide to create a new IP. Old fans are insulted, the lore and story are forever ruined, and the franchise is probably dead. The difficulty can be worse than in casual or Nintendo titles. No traditional RPG gameplay. It's like a kids game being marketed as an adult one. The art direction is too colorful, the GUI looks like it was taken from a mobile game. The character models are a mix of overly caricatured, overly disfigured, overly disproportionate bodies, and overly realistic faces. It feels like the faces were cut alive from random real-life people and pasted onto mismatched bodies. The main character creator ironically doesn't let you create the character you probably want, a masculine man or a feminine woman. And the worst part is the dialogue. It's so bad you can't even enjoy the occasional decent bit of the game. These dialogues were written by someone who has no social skills, who doesn't know how normal peoples talk, conveying his own real-life insecurities, frustration and hatred - a real cringe fest, the biggest I've ever seen.

Unfortunately, it's overrated. It definitely feels like a game for non-gamers or new/casual gamers. It tries too hard to be a movie, which results in a lack of gameplay. The levels are basically corridor-like rectangles and squares with overly detailed environments, making looting a chore. The way back is magically sealed off very often, which can be annoying when you're looking for a secret room. There's no option to turn off the adaptive difficulty, and the game lowers the enemy count very quickly after deaths. The environmental puzzles are too easy, repetitive, and can feel unnecessary. The story and characters are good. The combat and stealth mechanics are definitely the best part of the game, and can be a lot of fun.

Thank you very much dev for this gem! It is not for everyone, that for sure. You need to learn things first, mechanics, balance, rules. After that it will take you to beautiful dark adventure. Original style assured by specific graphics and music. All story elements are of high quality. Game can immerse you fully. Replaying will make you happy, different choice - different consequences, same with character creation and gameplay you receive from it. I love it even more than old RPGs like Fallout and Arcanum.

ID did outstanding job, perfect mixture of new and old. Not many people pointed out that it is also a perfect Quake game, as it merged elements of both series: guns, style, gameplay, aesthetics. Level design take inspiration even from multiplayer part of ID history which is not bad as you may think, because arenas you encounter are ideal for battle dancing between enemies. Music deserves its own rating - totally 10/10 of metal and electronic feast for ears. I had only one problem, that plagues most of modern games. Difficulty level. The hardest level is too hard because of time wasting permadeath. And almost the hardest level is too easy because too many times you are unfulfilled when warmed up, with good amount of ammo and health, ready for the next biggest wave of enemies that never comes.

Local co-op is pure gold :D One of the best fairy-tale atmospheric games. Music and graphics are top notch. Our heroes and dialogues between them are hilarious. Difficulty levels are properly balanced and there is a lot of settings for it, I liked challenge on harder ones. Devs had many ideas for level design so you can't get bored.

A hidden gem. Give it a try and you will be lost for hundred of hours. Music and atmosphere are unforgettable. Gameplay is mix of 4X, RPG, text adventures and RTS. RTS missions are average but optional. Text quests (optional too) are well written, have good humour and many laughable moments. Core elements, 4X and RPG, are solid. A lot of advanced settings for character creation, difficulty, etc.

I was not expecting a game that will jump to my top list of favourites in times of "greedy companies" gaming, definitely something everyone should try. Only one thing prevented me from giving 10/10, no difficulty settings - game felt too easy.

It was ahead of its time, a masterpiece of story, directing and atmosphere. Played about 10 times, this game led me to the story driven single player part of gaming that I value the most today and that I'm not going to leave.

Played as a kid on N64, playing today on PC with user created content, game is still alive and rocking :)

Pure classic, I played it back in 2005 and was blown away. Game is full of polished details, gameplay style is differential, immersion high, story engaging. It's one of THOSE games you love with all you heart and can replay for years without boredom. As if that was not enough, amount of user created content is huge - there is always something new to do.

Good game ruined by online DRM and microtransaction system which, for example, prevents you from selling any car. For me it's unacceptable in a single player game. It's also disgusting that they introduced microtransactions AFTER reviews - as a GT fan I'm deeply wounded.
