Take all the good mechanics of assassins creed and batman arkham city, then put in a nemesis system... and a lil spice of well polished graphics and you have **** lord of the rings style game. Is it the greatest game ever? no! But however it is an awesome stand alone single player title that will keep you entertained for hours to come. The game isn't lacking in any way so I would say I am happy they didn't chop this game and sell the rest as DLC like most games that have been coming out lately. The DLC feels like an option for if you really love this game and want more rather than.. "hey you wont enjoy this game until you fork over money for the season pass". With that I may buy the DLC once I have beaten the game. I can truly get lost playing this game. There are a few bugs in the game like where Celembrimdors spirit will stay frozen in spots you left wraith mode but its not game breaking. There are quick time events however it doesn't take away any immersion what so ever like a lot of quick time events do. Its definitely one of the better games out and I believe if you buy this game which you can find $40-$50 deals at best buy and the internet then you can be assured your money was well spent on an entertaining fun game. The story is interesting but honestly I just love the gameplay. you have free roam to go wherever and the scenery in the game changes as you progress. Grinding for upgrades is minimal and the side missions aren't dragged out and boring like assassins creed. If you get this game I would recommend upgrading your elf shot as much as you can and your wraith abilities because you will use it a lot and will be most helpful. The game is very rewarding and yet not too challenging. you can't go hacking and slashing in a fight expecting to button mash your way through. it takes some combat strategy much like batman arkham city. The side missions make it rewarding to complete as you find new runes to play with the customize your ranger/wraith the way you want him to fight. which is very unique... some runes can be burned to upgrade quicker. All in all i feel like the game catches up with my skill level to where its not too easy to where i can get bored easily. I enjoy having that feeling of revenge if an uruk kills me and I see him get promoted, then i go stalk him and hunt him down or I possess him so i can use him as my puppet to get me a big uruk army. Sometimes i just let an uruk kill me just to watch the events unfold for him. My only disappointment (SPOILER SCROLL DOWN) is they killed off my favorite character Ratbag the Coward early in the game. Was feeling attached to the little guy. There are also some moments that get annoying like trying to get talion to hang on one side of the wall then hangs on the opposite side where the uruks are however it still isn't game breaking. I do wish they would've gotten deeper into the hunting. However I will say this.. If you are curious about this game and you love assassins creed and the batman games then this will be for you. Its one of the better games out there and monolith/WB did a great job releasing a game that feels like you got your money's worth. GREAT JOB.

At long last we have a new smash brothers on nintendo's next gen console. This game is non stop fun and the visuals are polished and smooth. Online is a ton of fun I haven't had any problems finding players in no time and a smooth running match. Smash tour is definitely something fun to play with your friends I enjoy it very much so. Nintendo did a great job appealing to all audiences in this game. Seriously Nintendo is all like "oh you don't like Smash" well then change all the rules to your liking... "you prefer melee" Well you can use your gamecube controller and take off smash ball. "don't like certain songs" Then turn them off the playlist. This game is an unbalanced balance **** game, a custom game, and a make you happy in your own special way kind of game. Mii customizations are hilarious... Just think.. now you or your friends or heck Walter White can join the brawl. GREAT JOB NINTENDO!! Look I want to go on more but I really don't want to spoil it for anyone. Plus I'm wanting to go play more smash. Is it worth 60 bucks? YES!! is the special edition worth 100 bucks? YOU BETTER BELIEVE ITS A YES!!!

Look.... I love sonic the hedgehog.... It saddens me to say this.... But this game is unfinished garbage... It could've been something good... but its not.... Its sonic team's last exclusive nintendo game so yeah i guess I could see why they would **** at it especially considering most of sega was working on Alien Isolation.... but still this is their mascot.... Its a shame... Honestly I wish Sega would give the rights of Sonic to Nintendo because Nintendo does not let games go unfinished... Its sad to see him, banjo & kazooie and all the other mascots go to rubbish.... I guess some good mascots got to end I suppose. I haven't enjoyed a good sonic game since the adventure series and colors. Oh well. I bet the kids will atleast enjoy it because its a prequel to the Tv series... As an adult I am realizing one of my favorite guys who convinced me to get a sega genesis is dead or just a washed up loser by his own job that screwed him over. Please Sega just give him to Nintendo... I'm sure Mr. Iwata would be generous to label him as "sega's" sonic the hedgehog. Anyways... Look... If you want an unfinished game that doesn't work then I would say just get an Xbone because atleast they'll work better after patches... However if you want a sonic game then you might as well dig up your genesis and get all 7 emeralds and beat dr. robotnik because this wont do it and will disappoint you I promise. Shame on you sega.... I hope you make negative profits on this game

Well what can I say?...... Look I'll start off by saying that its halo 1 thru 4 obviously and that the graphics are definitely great. the campaign is great as well. If you love the halo series then you will love it. But why the 3? Its simple my friends. Once again we have another halo released by 343 with a broken matchmaking system.... I was disappointed with their incompetence to fix the lag fest of halo 4 multiplayer, but lets not get into that shall we... The 3 rating mainly goes for the companies 343 and microsoft. Don't release an unfinished game anymore your console depends on it. I almost considered getting an xbox one after being excited. Luckily for me I went to a friends house who has an xbone and "tried" to play matchmaking. Lets just say upon launch we were barely getting a match per hour and the sad part is it was small teams of 2v2 and other nonsense. Then there were maps where it couldn't render textures and was all white with lines everywhere. This game is full of bugs and glitches and LAG!!!!. I mean honestly if you are a halo fan then you have already beaten the 4 games already and want to see what matchmaking has to offer, which is nothing at the moment. There's also a glitch where you can boot a member from the opposing team.... wow!!! Once again I have lost interest in buying an xbone. I know there are a lot of people saying "don't worry they are fixing it". However like Ron White said "you can't fix stupid", and this my friends is 343 and microsoft being stupid. I am sick of games these days coming out that are broken and or unfinished products and we have to be stuck waiting for several patches to download while the rest of the game is sold as DLC. You would think after all the hate that Microsoft received after their xbone reveal that they would be nothing but a perfectionist upon releasing their games. I would only expect this much incompetence from EA games. Also didn't they say something about 300,000 servers for xbox one or some large number of the sort? They all must've taken the day off or are very lazy or maybe their not paid enough like all jobs these days so they do a half asked job. So yeah great job on the graphics, but shame on you for the broken day one matchmaking. Do you realize how many people took the day off their job or even called in just to have a day for this? If my beloved halo isn't dead yet then I will say this game is now on life support. CODAW worked fine for my friend and I on day one AT MIDNIGHT!!! Mario Kart 8 worked perfect for me the day one of release! BUT FOR SOME REASON THE BIG FREAKING COMPANY KNOWN AS MICROSOFT CAN'T EVEN GET THEIR MOST POPULAR CONSOLE SELLING GAME TO WORK MATCHMAKING ON DAY FREAKING ONE!!!!!!!! Shame shame shame on you. You better be kissing your consumers butts and giving out some great free stuff for those who suffered. If I would've bought this game and an xbone the day of release I would've taken it back and got my money back and used it to buy a nice bottle of scotch because atleast i wouldn't have been let down by the scotch's characteristics compared to those of the ignorance and incompetence of the 2 companies. When you spend 60 dollars on a game and in some cases 400 dollars for a console that day and take the day off work/call in which also means more money spent then a game should work without a doubt. Quit releasing broken games and letting the patches do the rest of the work. Maybe learn from Nintendo and postpone the game if its not entirely finished. So anyways..... if you love Halo then yes get the game, but I would wait till the price went down. These companies don't deserve the price they're asking for if they are just going to half ask job it and expect us to wait for patches

I love Nintendo... yeah lets start with that.. Bayonetta 2.. I feel the same as I did the first one.. I will say for the fans of this series that it was a great and generous idea to include the first one. However upon playing the game I wasn't too impressed. The graphics and the colors are very appealing to where you can tell they put a lot of work into it, and I can say if you're a fan of this series you won't be disappointed. For me in my own opinion I am a 28 year old man, so to me this game is obviously perverted and I could see anybody younger than 20 getting into this game (mostly young males). There's a fine point where a woman in a game can be a bad ass and still be attractive but in this game series they cross the line and make it obvious of sexually objectifying her. Yes I admit I'm not too fond of games and perversions like that. I can say yes there are games that have a perverted sense of humor that make me laugh but this like I said is why I see younger males liking a game like this. So besides that point... why else did I not like this game? The game really seems like a huge button mashing and most of the time you don't know whats really going on. The camera doesn't do the game much justice either. Combo system is great but with mentioned above doesn't serve much purpose. Another thing I don't like about this game is quick time events. I cannot go on enough about how much I dislike quick time events, so if you want to know how I feel then I wold suggest watching "quick time events ****" on john tron's channel. I am glad I got to try this before buying... Though I will say this.. If Nintendo is trying to prove they have mature games then yes Bayonetta 2 does the job (though they do have more mature titles). I will not be owning this game. I would say if you have never played bayonetta then take that 60 bucks you were going to spend and add that to the pre purchase of the Super Smash bros for WiiU that way you can play it Melee style.

Now in my review for the first one I will say I was a bit quick to jump the gun and never truly give this game a chance. My mind has changed in this new installment (and after giving the first one a second run) This game is what the direction that konami should've taken castlevania to besides that god of war wannabe garbage. The game mechanics are smooth and the challenge is real. Honestly my biggest enemy besides my own stupid choices would be gravity. I've learned after playing both DS games that I've been spoiled over the years with the easy difficulty of how modern games are. This game will teach you patience and how to overcome obstacles like in the old school NES days. I mean imagine castlevania symphony of the night and if konami kept that darkness and challenge and moved forward into the future with it... well from software did that with the "souls" series. It may not be castlevania but its what we've wanted that series to do for us today. Its no skyrim and people making comparisons need to know its like comparing an apple to a hotdog.. I mean really... 2 different things here buddies. The PVP is great and co op is also a plus here. You can invade others worlds and mess up their day ohhhh joyyyyyy my favorite but they can do it to you.... damn... but fun!!!! DLC is fairly priced and adds even more fun unlike todays games that just give you the unfinished bits **** just to make extra money. The souls series is keeps that Nintendo tradition going on when it comes to good quality games. However it lacks in a few areas... in which to be honest isn't that big of a deal kinda like a really big pizza with one bad topping on it... its not a big deal if you eat around it. It lacks in the communication area.. yeah you can do all sorts of gestures but online you can only private chat there is no party chat which is a bummer if you have 2 people you are co oping with and would be nice to talk trash to people you beat in PVP vs sending them a message. Also the invading part upsets me because due to how difficult it is to get effigies I will pretty much say if an invader defeats you then you lose your humanity. Also ghost damage on PVP is a big no no and sometimes has me rage quit or how op a spell caster is.. sometimes it seems like there are hackers but its not too often... Some weapons hitboxes (spears) in pvp is a little **** op.... Like I said its not much to ruin a game but its enough to keep me from giving it a 10. This game is one of the few games out there today actually worth its price, and the replay value is high. if you get bored you can cosplay a character. Heck I did a faith caster with a sword and he looked like trunks from dragon ball z. you can cosplay almost anything just look it up on youtube. Good game and thank you from software. I apologize about my last review on the first one... I was ignorant of the awesomeness then and spoiled from typical shooters

This game is good on a multiplayer aspect but the luster goes away quickly... You see for me most of my friends have moved on to phone games in which i have traversed once with them and then came back to consoles after being dissatisfied with quality and the microtransactions to enjoy the game. So yeah phone games are out to take your money and console games are the real deal??? with this game i'm not sure anymore. I will say the mechanics of this game are tight however I feel like this game is unfinished. I really feel sorry for Peter Dinklage. People shouldn't rag on the guy, he was just getting paid to do a video game voice like many stars these days and the game has nothing to do with him as an actor. I guess if you like borderlands and halo then you would like this game. For me however I only liked borderlands when friends played with me otherwise it was boring and repetitive grinding.. This game is an amateur MMO. It really couldve been a great game if they would've taken more time to finish it. I love some of the classes and how they work but once again I feel like they rushed to meet a deadline. On the xbox 360 there seems to be too many disconnect issues. Also I will not spoil anything but in a way its got that "dragon age" effect where they really push the DLC on you and to me feels the way a phone game feels to enjoy a game fully. I feel if they would've focused on true gameplay vs money grabbing the compulsive buyers then we would've seen a better user review here. I really wanted to like this game but for 60 dollars I will say I was glad to have played a friends copy instead of buying. Honestly with how they are working the DLC I will say wait till this game goes down to 20 bucks then maybe give it a chance or wait till they come out with the game and all DLC for a fair price because right now they are just wanting your money. I was really looking forward to Bungie going further than the halo universe but then again if you team them up with activision what else could you expect? I'd say the merger to make this game is an amateur copycat of how EA makes their games... Really disappointed....

(Too long didn't read at the bottom) To be honest I wasn't expecting this game to be much especially after seeing what Team ninja did with their Metroid spin-off (I know Team ninja isn't fully responsible for HW), however because I love zelda games i had to fork over my money. However I will say this game is a lot of fun. Sure I can say there are some flaws and some good points. The fanboy in me wants to give it a 10 but I have to be more realistic here and not let that emotion surface. For those who are giving it a 0 and whining like kids in school when they don't get what they wanted at the cafeteria all I have to say is either those are people trying to offset the rating because they either don't own a wiiu, is a gaming elitist that always says the games before are better or maybe they are just upset that its not a "true" zelda game. Lets be honest here (and obvious). I'm going to say that this in no way is a "true" zelda game, its about as true of a zelda game as Mario Kart is a "true" mario game (I love mario kart 8 by the way). They tried to make a zelda spinoff a while back on wii if you remember and it was terrible, but however I will say they did a great job with this title. People always want to rag on nintendo for their games whether its the fact there's not many mature games out there to the fact that there's hardly any games on the console. Nintendo in my opinion has always done a great job with making good quality games, they never rush them and will delay them if they feel the game is not complete unlike some companies I won't name that rush their games and let the patches do the rest of the work and take the bits and pieces of the unfinished game on the shelf game and sell them as $20-$50 Dlc packs. Nintendo did however start late with reaching online and HD gameplay and is still lagging behind in the Online world, though I would like to add they always have something up their sleeve and as of now they have been picking up their pace despite the long road ahead. That of which I give respect to. The games out on Wii U lately have me more intrigued to play than the other consoles out so to me that says a lot coming from a man who stopped playing wii to only play on his xbox 360. But today this isn't truly about the console debate and the number of games any console makes. Reviews on here should be for the purpose of this game and to inform other gamers whether they should play it or not. If you love mindless hack n slash violent games (like dynasty warriors) and zelda games then you will love it (I already know i'm not the first to say this). Upon playing this game I will say the graphics are crisp and the soundtrack is immersive. The soundtrack ranges from epic musicals to almost a heavy metal sound which to those who love metal and the LoZ games this will make you smile and hack away even more at enemies. This game is a nostalgic gem for those who are looking to play something before ZeldaU comes out. The combat is fun... In some cases yes you could button mash your way through or you could try different combos out to see what violent effect you get. I do enjoy the combat a lot. After playing Dark souls 2 its nice to kick back and play this game, it doesn't require a lot of thinking and strategy especially if you've already played zelda games but to me this is something I could mindlessly play for hours. Its also a fun couch co op game with your friends and family and anyone can pick it up fast and enjoy without making the other player feel useless. In which I will say Nintendo has always done a good job with making good party games that are fun, easy to pick up and still have a spice of challenge to it in which keeps the game from going stale. Upgrades are cool and awards keep me pushing through the level. So if i could nitpick some what would I nitpick? Well for starters I mentioned earlier that Nintendo is lagging behind in the online world. I would love to see this game for online co op or even a versus mode due to how the combat is. I will say they didn't stop the fair from being annoying in which is funny at first due to nostalgia but then you want to just kill that fairy and throw it into the nearest ceiling fan. The story is meh... But once again this isn't a "true" zelda game. so if you're looking for something fun and can play with friends or even just looking for something to charge up your easter egg nostalgia bar then I would say pick this up. If you're picky about your games and an elitist then I would just not get it and maybe even get a job. If you don't like hack n slash games like DW and devil may cry and the like then don't get it. I however enjoy it... its not the best game ever but its also not the worst zelda game ever, did anybody forget that Zelda CDi game..... ... that was the worst. TL;DR Good game not the best... if you're too picky wait for the price to drop or don't play it. Fun co op but would be nice to see it expand online.

If you're in my position and don't want the overpriced non-backwards compatible wannabe PC known as X1, and can't afford to shell the dough for a top end graphics card then I will say go ahead and get the 360 version of this game. Its had little advertising, so most people are unaware while the rest doubt it will even play. Yes we got burned hard by EA with Battlefield 4 but so far no problems with this port so far. Its a great shooter to say the least. Very fun and fast paced. Honestly I could write a review for this but there's already hundreds out and so I'll say if you've already seen reviews on the X1 version then you can be safe to say they will be the same as this version. If however later on down the line you want better HD graphics I would say take that 360 controller of yours and go into PC world. This game by any means is no way to justify buying a (u.s.) $500 Wannabe PC non upgradable non-backwards compatible gaming console, but Titanfall is worth to have on your collection. So yes get the 360 version. Nothing more fun than a parkour jump kick into an enemy or even ejecting from your titan to land on an enemies and blow it to kingdom come.

First off let me say when you get this game make sure you have alot of time on your hands. The beginning tutorial is very long, around 4 to 7 hours. If you're like me I just skimmed all the dialogue and crash coursed the controls to speed up the beginning to 2 1/2 hours. So with that said be sure to give this game a chance and I mean give it a chance. Veterans of monster hunter tri already know what to expect, but for those who are playing this game on hear say you have alot of things to get adjusted to. One of those things is that this game is very very very very very quirky! Yep I said it.... QUIRKY!! If you just came from playing Skyrim and/or Dark Souls it will take alot of time getting used to and will make you question if this is a serious game. Have no worries though because it still is a serious game, just think of it more like an anime and how quirky yet serious it is. Also if you're used to great graphics in a game it will take getting used to as well because the graphics look like Ps2 style with HD polish. Set that aside and you have a great game. Multiplayer for me was a hard thing to figure out but luckily on the gamepad you can go on the internet and figure out what you need to do with MP. Playing online with friends takes getting used to because there is no Invite option, so if you're an xbox player it will take some time to get adjusted to. After the quirkiness of the game along with its new way of logging in with players you will find this game very addicting. There are several ways of killing each monster and each way will earn you different types of resources. This game is more of a lifestyle than it is a great story, but like I said once you have the patience to give it a chance It will grow on you. It is a very challenging game and is fun to play with friends. The community of players are very nice and helpful so don't be afraid of being a greenhorn. There will always be someone to help you because while you level up and get more resources for weapons armor they still make gains as well whether they just want to sell their rewards or enjoy helping someone. Once you get everything down in the game you will find yourself even more addicted to it. Trust me this game is very fun... Give it a chance

How can I compare this franchise to anything? I would say its like going to my favorite restaurant and finding new exciting dishes I love that just get better and better. The first one was an amazing debut to the series which truly gave glory to the exclusive games Xbox 360 has. The second one kept pushing the limits and testing new grounds with multiplayer, and the 3rd one was indeed a very very good one... It was like a found the ultimate dish at this restaurant that I'll be ordering forever. Then of course Judgement came out which was like the restaurant I once loved took out all the amazing dishes I ordered and added nothing new. very disappointing. Anyways, Gears 3 is a must have for anybody who has an Xbox 360. Its also the most fun you'll have with your friends teaming up in the campaign which by the way is also fun Solo. The campaign's story is a great one filled with action, suspense and emotion all rolled together in a delicious gears of war burrito. Horde mode truly delivers the best multiplayer action to date. Its definitely a great addition that can be taken as a hardcore element when difficulty is raise to even a fun party game for your friends. Deathmatch and the like is ok, some may argue that's the best aspect of the game though i will say its only weak point is the gnasher shotgun and its ridiculous killing range/power which to me breaks the game to where I don't even touch those modes unless I've had a few drinks to not take it seriously. Trust me this is a true keeper for those who have a 360 and not worth any trade in value with tons of replay value as well.

However if you ungodly love the series soooooo much then go ahead and shell out your bills like its your favorite stripper at the stripclub. Its just that this game is basically an overpriced DLC for AC2. It played exactly the same way except this time Ezio can be a big whig Assassin CEO that makes all of his grunt workers do everything being killed in the process while he ponders where he'll take his next vacation and decide if he wants the prime rib or lobster..... HELL GET BOTH!!! I love ubisoft and they are one of the good guys in developers who listen to their community but I think this time they were needing some money at the end of the year to fund new games so they released this knowing that people like myself would buy it. The only thing this game gets a 10 at is multiplayer. If you're sick of playing shooters and want something more innovative in a MP then you should give this one a try and just wiki the story to save ya some time

Definitely mixed with my review on this. I want to simplify this without going into a novel. Combat is slow in this game. I understand this a game where you have to learn from your mistakes, so i'm not going to rip on the difficulty of this game, infact that's why people love this game so much. The story is a good one that'll keep you wanting more, but to me the game just lacks. I think the reason its not for me is because I'm an adult with several responsibilities and a full time job along with a Girlfriend I love to spend time with. I'm more of a casual gamer so to say. This is my opinion. If you're a casual gamer that loves to play for the fun of games then I wouldn't play it if I were you. Now if you're somebody who feels like they need to feel like they accomplished something in life then this game will make you feel so after you rise up to the top of this challenging foe. However real life itself to me is very challenging/frustrating where I learn from my own mistakes and feel accomplished when I complete something impeccable, so I don't need Dark souls to give me that sense of accomplishment. Definitely a perfect game if you're an expert gamer who devotes most of their life to games. In fact for hardcore gamers I would give it a 10 but for someone like me it gets a 5. I just didn't have the time and patience to play something this challenging with real life knocking at my door. Perhaps if I had a good paying part time job and didn't have to pay bills along with other responsibilities I would love this game.

I give this game a 5 mainly because its not as good as the hype, plus not to mention people compared this game godlike to that of skyrim which made me feel like buying it more. I bought this used at gamestop with a $20 off coupon so i paid $7 for it so it was definitely worth that price. Don't get me wrong the story of this game is a great one, and you don't need to play the first one to understand the story. Though this game is more story than gameplay to where I find myself often bored and rushing some of the pointless dialogue. It feels more like you're watching an epic medieval movie where you get a few free moments to live it. The graphics are great and the textures are sharp with amazing contrast to the colors. Very vibrant foliage while out questing that is pleasing to the eye. The towns on this game look very disappointing. They look like a giant just ate a village and crapped them out calling it a town. Very difficult to navigate through and ugly to they eye. Combat in this game is a plus because its very creative and I love the direction the combat system is moving for this game; however, with this game being more story and dialogue you hardly get to enjoy questing and fighting baddies in this installment ****. You can craft armor in the game which kind of makes me think of a watered down version of monster hunters armor crafting. The side quests get a little on the repetitive side and you spend alot more time in dialogue of your quest than actually questing. The bad guys in the game get old after a while because it seems most of them fight the same way. I will say that in dialogue it stays true to modern RPG's where you can decide what happens in the game rather than it forcing you to do something. I'm the kind of guy where I work many hours at my job so when i get home and have caught up with dinner and more I have about 2-3 hours of gaming left before its time to pass out, so this game wasn't truly for me and reason is because 2 1/2 of those hours I spent gaming were more sex scenes and dialogue than actual gameplay. The maps aren't very open more so limiting, yet still looks great and the game itself can be beaten quick. The game plays more like if you took Fable and mixed it with dragon age origins, and hours upon hours of dialogue with a better story yet improving the combat features. This game plays well on a day where you're hungover and don't want to focus on gaming yet giving yourself a movie experience. If you love nudity and softcore sex scenes in games over actual gameplay then this a game for you. If you want to be a gaming hipster/elitist and say you play something thats not a popular skyrim game then this is for you. I just found myself unsatisfied after beating the game and was wishing there was more gameplay to it. I mean the game itself on xbox 360 was a 2 disc game, so i was expecting a game that would take me months to beat while being **** in its vastness. So yeah I was let down alot. I think the 3rd installment of this game will be alot better. It looks like they might be giving gameplay more of a spotlight this time. If you have alot of time on your hands and love medieval themes with sex scenes and alot of story then this is for you, but if you love to be more interactive with your game then I would say hold off till the 3rd one and play games like Skyrim, Dark souls and Monster hunter. Still a shame that with a good combat system you don't get to truly enjoy its potential.

What can I say about this game.... I mean its a freakin zelda game!!! When has this franchise ever done anybody wrong? Windwaker was a great game on gamecube, so there's not much of a difference there on Wii U. There is less quest for triforce shards and they changed up the pictobox to make it less tasking. For those who have never played it, I would say this is a must. I remember when this was on gamecube and I was very disgusted at first by its toonie graphics mainly because I was expecting a Zelda game that had graphics to where it looked like Lord of the rings. You know what? I learned a valuable lesson in that game to not judge a game by its graphics because that game was the most fun in a Zelda game in a long while. Only reason I give this a 9 is because its an HD remake not a new Zelda game and its also not the HD remake I was hoping for. I honestly believed Majora's Mask was the HD remake with all the videos on youtube which was the main reason I wanted a Wii u, but you know what I understand why they remade windwaker. Its the most non-linear Zelda to play, so they wanted to test the grounds with a big open world and communicate with players with tingle bottles to get a jist of what Zelda fans are wanting new in the series. Windwaker has the largest map out of all the zelda games. So I will say yes this game before was good and this one is good too. In fact this is only the tip of the Iceberg of the Zelda upcomming in the future. So after you beat this I'll guarantee it'll get you more pumped for the newest one coming out

This game is pure fun when it comes to games. If you own a wii u or know a friend who does then you better give this one a buy/checkout. The Mario franchise is one that constantly brings fun to the table for everyone of all ages, and they continue to bring something new to the table to keep you on your feet unlike other franchises out there that are just rehashes of the game before it with just a polish of hd/better graphics.... *cough cough* CALL OF DUTY!!! Need I say more to you fellow metacritics and stumbleons of this site? Multiplayer on this has never been so fun. I haven't had this much fun playing with friends since horde mode on Gears of war 3. Also the multiplayer flows perfectly and is less chaotic than super mario bros U. With all the new console releases Nintendo has been left in the dust because other consoles bragging about graphics, TV, internet, fantasy football and of course the arguing over who is the real system for gamers. Xbox one upset many people with its policies that were similair to steam, but in result changed their minds to keep the hate off, but still has a high price to own one, while 4% of owners of this new console are having difficulties reading games on their drives even after the "day one" update. Playstation 4 took the crowds by their honeyed words while talking bad about Xbox the whole time like a jealous friend who saw the chance to steal the thunder. "hey you know that one thing xbone does that you hate? well we do the opposite!!!, yeah don't forget that... i mean yeah they got cool looking games but we're truly for gamers". And right now ps4 is also have some HDMI display problems out of a small percentage of those who bought it. Not to mention I would say PS4 is being an "Indian giver" about its policies at the moment just check it out..... Anyways, sorry to go on about that, I know we've seen too much of these guys go at it for a while. Nintendo right now is the underdog in these consoles that has more hate than praise and you know I don't know why. PS4 and Xbone this generation truly aren't about the gamers they are about the Graphics. If you give wii u a chance and don't let the badgers get to you then you will see that this system was truly made for gamers. On to Mario! Like I said this game is fun to play solo and co op with a less chaotic feature. The game looks beautiful and crisp in its Hd nature and textures are smooth. Powerups in this game will have you wanting more of the game. Nostalgia yes!! and for beginners who have never played mario will fall in love. The game also features some beginner friendly options for those who need it, so this game is perfect for everyone!!! The only thing this game needs is the ability to invite your online friends in an open world to play with. If you want a new console and feel like $399 and $499 are way too much on top of games then I will say go for the wii u because the price dropped to $299, the graphics are great, the games are superior, not to mention 3rd party launches look great like AC4, ZombiU and many more....... JUST GET A WII U!!! Play this game!!! you will not regret it!! I know for the hardcore fans this isn't Mario Galaxy but as far as a mario game goes it deserves a 10!! I'm positive they'll make a new mario galaxy game in the future because you know what Nintendo actually listens to their consumers. If Nintendo was a meme it would be "good guy greg". Great games, free online and much much more!!! Give nintendo some support and ignore the haters. NINTENDO'S GETTIN BACK TO ITS ROOTS BABY!!!

I know this is late in reviewing but I just wanted to say I traded this game in for Halo 4 upon release because i couldn't afford 60 bucks at the time. Anyways I loved playing halo reach despite of what negative people say. The halo community is a hard one to please i'll say. Most of them just want halo to be a constant re-hash of itself with better graphics in a world where technology and gaming is constantly progressing. Don't get me wrong I loved the first 3 halo's and they were great storylines along with great multiplayer.... Well halo 2 had its bugs before it was a beast. Anyways point is I regretted trading in reach for halo 4 because halo 4 has horrible lag, quickspawn, killcams and everything cheesy in the cod franchise that's watered down with a Halo skin on it calling itself Halo. Plus 343 doesn't listen to their community at all they want is people praising the game and don't have time for constructive feedback that includes issues with the game that breaks it causing a population to drop by 92% in a lifespan less than a year. Upon regret of trading it in I finally got it back at gamestop today for 12 bucks and lemme tell ya this was the best last installment of halo. Not the best overall just a good way for bungie to say goodbye and move on to bigger things like destiny. So if you have this game you need to repopulate it, and if you've never played it then I will say its definitely worth the price. The legendary campaign is a good one to play with friends. Its not short like Halo 4. For those of you who might think reach was on the cod side, I say to you pop in halo 4 and thats the real copycat.

This is a game that honestly you'll have to find out for yourself if you like it. Reviews are kind of guidelines on this one, so to each is own. you really have to try this one for yourself. Just think of the difficulty and dying of Dark souls meets a walking dead british style. My only beef with the game is that they should've had more melee weapons than a cricket bat. Zombiu truly uses the gamepad to its full content and Ubisoft delivers an almost realistic sense of surviving in a zombie apocalypse. If you're the kind of gamer that just wants to run through everything guns a blazin then I would say this game is not for you rambo, go back to left for dead. I will say you can dumb down the difficulty a bit, but honestly you are defeating the purpose of this game. I myself am not a fan of hardcore difficulty games where you have to constantly learn from your mistakes including dying and starting all over, but this one I'd say sticks with me. My best advice is play this after watching an episode of walking dead. Great feel

This game does a great job and has made alot of improvements since the previous titles. I would say the game is just about as ground breaking as the second one and definitely took out as much boring aspects from the first one they could. Outside the animus story is a weird one to get adjusted to which can make the player love or hate it, in which for myself I don't care too much about the outside animus part on this new installment and does not make me hate the game either, but really love the in the animus story. Its all about the life of Connor's grandfather. The Pirate. And for those of you who have always wanted a great pirate game then look no further. Its like playing Assassin's creed 2 with a pinch of 3 along with the open worldliness and sailing of legend of Zelda windwaker. Its been a while since I've had a game make me feel so excited and counting down the clock till I get off work. The wii u delivers a great experience. if you are looking for smoother frame rates and better graphics than 360 and Ps3 but can't afford the expensive Ps4 and Xbone then this game meets you in the middle and does not disappoint. The Gamepad gives you a perfect extra large map to view everything with. plus not to mention playing it off screen. I live with my girlfriend, and I knew I'd get addicted to this game, so it's perfect on Wii U to keep both of us happy because she can watch her Tv shows all night while I play this game. Even the Gamepads graphics for off tv play looks amazing and runs smooth. So I'll say give this game a chance plus not to mention you can post your progress and pictures of in game play on the miiverse as well as see what others are getting into and learn new things from each other. So yes give it a chance especially if you own a wii u! Give nintendo some support. There's too many nintendo haters out there who don't know their roots, so bring some love to nintendo and pick up your copy today! One more thing. Uplay has an app on nintendo so that is a must to download and is free of charge filled with its own achievements that reward its players. Trust me on this!

I would go into a novel of a review like I did with Halo 4 but this game doesn't even deserve that much. Do not buy this game and if you have then use it to go towards a trade in for a game that really cares about its core players. If you like Horde then don't bother with it. Many are already disappointed by this game and I am as well. This game is just Epic trying to earn extra bucks for a popular series. Don't get me wrong I really love all gears of war games, but this one is garbage. The story ****. And so does the MP. This game does not deserve the title "gears of war" it more deserves to be called "The adventures of Baird and friends". I wasted alot of time on this game that I'm never going to get back. Thanks for selling the fans a game that should've been a DLC for the first gears and the Aftermath story to be a DLC for Gears 3. Way to come out with a Leaky Garbage Xbox Exclusive before the Next Gen Consoles arrive Epic!

Halo 4

Honestly I will give 2 separate ratings... 5 is just kind of a middle ground for the 2. Lets start with the single player Campaign: One thing the Halo universe has always provided is a great story and I honestly though this would be a fail of a story coming from 343 industries, especially considering the first thing you see when starting is a big message from them pretty much saying "please give us a chance we promise we didn't screw it up, ok so please play and give us great ratings".... So yeah the story was a great direction and if you're familiar with the story then you will see how it kept it real in the universe. However the campaign felt a bit short and legendary difficulty wasn't as hard as the previous titles. The ending with quicktime events was my only disappointment with the campaign because it reminded me too much of how COD MW2's ending with the main villain was. So overall I give the story an 8. fun to play with friends. Spartan ops.... Its fun, but the name could've been different especially considering COD has "Spec ops". Now on to multiplayer: Alot of people want to complain about sprint and loadouts, but you know I actually liked that direction though the loadouts could've had better variety and different stats. The ranking system is poor.. All you got to do is play the game a bunch and not have any skill. MP is very beginner friendly and stays that way rather than giving you a lvl 1-20 type playlist. Speaking of playlists, do not buy DLC because I did and was a waste of money. I hardly see my DLC in any to no playlists except for the maps wreckage and shatter which **** and would've been better n 4v4 slayer types. Quickspawn and Killcams really killed that one for me as well. Its like a huge slap in the face to the Halo Community. I feel like 343 took all the lame qualities of COD and watered it down into their own thing rather than coming up with a new innovative way of playing shooters like bungie did. I understand the need for quickspawn in COD, but in halo there is no reason... We have shields that recharge so we don't need quickspawn, plus it doesn't punish wannabe rambos of your team in fact it enables them more. The forerunner weapons are cool but they need more "zazz" to them because they feel like the A.R. and DMR with forerunner skins on them "whooooooo!!!". The thing is though for me even though they did all that COD copying and more I still would've enjoyed the MP if the Lag wasn't so god awful. The game is been out for about a lil over a year now and they still haven't fixed it. Also if you want to splitscreen with a friend you're out of luck because you will lag constantly due to frame rate drop. Another poor quality is that if you have 3 of your friends come over with their own TV, 360, and Halo 4 then no matter how well your connection is and all that wubbajub you will have a hard time connecting with all your friends in that house for a match. Trust me been there and its a waste of time. I give multiplayer a 2 because 343 does not listen to the community nor does is care about splitscreen players and/or people connecting on the same internet to have a "halo party". They really lost touch with what playing multiplayer on this game was built on. This game dropped online population by 92% in less than a year. That's worse than reach and reach wasn't a bad game at all in fact is way better than this garbage of a multiplayer. Though I will say the graphics are good. All I have to say is if 343 truly gave up on its fans on Halo 4 and are only working on Halo 5 then they better get a beta out and listen to all feedback because I don't see anybody getting into the new installment due to new games like "destiny" and "titanfall". In less than a year the price of this game dropped to about $20 bucks at gamestop if that tells ya anything. Lag will kill any game and 343 put the icing on the cake with their incompetence to fix it. Also their "halo waypoint" is a joke. I wouldn't waste time on that site. 343 proved that in 2012 and 2013 they really don't care what you think about the game unless you want to say something like "this game is god"
