Frog Sqwad8

Me and my friends really enjoy Frog Sqwad. It’s very much a chaotic extraction platformer. It has a few glitches and bug and could use some more levels but hopefully more features will be added over time.

Indiana Jones and the Great Circle10

I absolutely adored this game. It embodies everything Indiana jones should be and delivers a story which could have easily been the third instalment of the films.

Wasn’t sure what to expect with this one but I ended up really loving it. It’s visually very striking and the combat feels great. Arkane did an amazing job.

Very mediocre game at launch. Combat feels sluggish and unpolished. Characters and dialogue are uninteresting. The game looks great, but ultimately feels empty. It seems like it has potential but whether I’ll check it out again in the future is uncertain.

Awesome game. I put off playing it for years but finally got around to it and it’s just a joy to play. It looks incredible and runs so smoothly. Combat feels super satisfying.

Starfield10

I’ve been playing since release and have only just finished my first play through almost two months later. I’d be lying if I said the game couldn’t be improved and that I wouldn’t like to see things tweaked or added (land vehicles need to be a thing and space travel could use some work) but I truly loved it anyway. I can’t say I’ve ever spent ~120 hours on a game to finish it and then immediately want to replay it but here we are. That’s the effect that Starfield has had on me. Already started NG+ and I’m sure there will be more after that.

Cute game with an interesting story. It’s a bit more point and click than I expected but I still enjoyed it. I think the dialogue could use a skip option or you should be able to re-do the recipes after completing the game as I had to click through all the dialogue again to get the achievements I missed.

This is such a cute, relaxing little game. Really enjoyed just exploring by and talking to and helping people. It only takes a couple of hours to complete but I’d definitely recommend it if you’re looking for something chilled to play.

Loved this game! So cool how all your choices make a difference. I’ve always loved choice based games such as the telltale ones and Life is Strange but never really felt like my choices have mattered in the end, but not with this. It’s so interesting to see how things turn out when you make different choices.

Great game with cool world building and fighting mechanics. I found the puzzles interesting overall but sometimes find the timed ones irritating. Liked the main story and voice acting, but found some of the side quests felt a little bit pointless. The armour upgrade doesn’t seem overly intuitive and I also found accessibility features to be lacking.

Sherlock Holmes: The Awakened8

Very good. The story was engaging and the environments were very rich and interesting. Thoroughly enjoyed. I feel like it was a bit short for the price. The DLC did add a couple of hours but not still not sure it was worth the extra cost. Frogwares have clearly put time and effort into improving the mechanics from Chapter One and have obviously listened to player feedback which is refreshing.

I actually enjoyed this game a lot. It's short (around 4hrs) but genuinely fun. I feel like it could have been a bit more challenging in places and there are a few glitches that need sorting out, plus I couldn't manage to get to one hundred percent due to there not being enough resources to upgrade everything fully which feels like a flaw.

Sherlock Holmes: Chapter One9

Absolutely loved this game. Perhaps my favourite game of 2022. 100 percent completed and it took me around 36 hours which is much longer than expected. Only criticism is that that the combat felt out of place and repetitive. Hitman style combat would've worked better imo.

Really fun, clean looking game. I found some of the bosses a bit of a challenge but they are all very doable when you figure out the mechanics.

Really cute and fun game. Thoroughly enjoyed it, my only disappointment is that there isn't a whole load of replay value after you've finished the main story. I would've liked a reason to keep going on crusades, but it seems pointless as there is nothing to gain from it. Experienced a few glitches but nothing game breaking, only once lost progress on a crusade because an enemy got stuck off the screen and the doors kept me locked in. Looking forward to seeing what content they plan to add to the game in the fututre!

I really wanted to like this. I started good and I was interested to see where it went but it went downhill shockingly quickly. The puzzle mechanics are infuriating. I found myself in multiple situations where I knew exactly what to do but was unable to do so because of clunky controls and character movement. The fixed camera angles cut off the screen and make you walk into walls. Played it all the way through, but experienced *severe* crashing during chapter 11. For some reason I had to go to the Home Screen and open the game again to get it to start. Almost gave up but actually managed to glitch my way through just to see what the end of the story was. I soon found out that it was terrible nonsensical and incomprehensible. I don’t like leaving bad reviews but I truly hated this game. It wasn’t worth the time.

Didn’t expect much but as it turns out I really thoroughly enjoyed this game. I didn’t find the jokes overly annoying or repetitive like people said and the mechanics are really fun and unique. I found myself wanting to pick it up over and over and I was finished before I knew it. Feels fresh and made me kind of nostalgic for the good old days of gaming when all that matters was if it was fun. Experienced a few glitches but nothing major, and nothing that I don’t expect from games on launch these days.
