Unfortunately they cut off the original soundtrack and made this game easier than the PS1 version. Moreover, this version has some serious bugs like sometimes secret cages do not pop up rightly. Overall, its ok for a gba launch title, but you better be playing the ps1 version.

I've never seen the movie and games basing on films are usually terrible, but surprisingly, this one is not that bad. A platformer with great graphics, good voice localization, and high-resolution FMVs. Additionally, there is some replay value; if you want, you can replay the levels to collect chips and unlock extras, though they're nothing special, just some videos and images from the movie. The gameplay itself isn’t anything new; if you’ve played platformers, you know exactly what to expect. Overall, it's an solid average game, not a blockbuster, but it's still fun.

You only press two buttons, that's it! There's not much else to the gameplay. To make matters worse, the game lacks any real challenge; you can barely die. The childish music can get annoying at times, and the game offers little replay value unless you're determined to replay every level to find the last hidden LocoRocos and those little black characters what does not make much fun because you dont get any real reward for collecting them. On the plus side, the art style is unique, it's something you don’t often come across, and the graphics are pretty decent for a PSP game. In the end, while this game isn’t a complete failure, it certainly doesn't live up to the hype from back then. In my opinion, as unique this game might be, it is only good for short sessions because it quickly becomes boring and underchallenges your brain with pushing only two buttons.

I liked this game. It's not groundbreaking or exceptional, but it’s fun and perfect for passing time on long train journeys. I’d rate it a solid 7/10. Anything below a 6 would be too harsh — it's definitely not that bad

Fun and charming game, i dont understand the hate it got back then. To be honest,i like this version more than the original ps1 game even though it cut off many level from the ps1 game, but the minigames and humor of this version are very enjoyable and compensate the missing level for me.

To me its bad, the flight physics is awful and a sidestep back compared to predecessor ACX, story average to bad, soundtrack average, the game is grindy as hell and includes the most annoying mission like "Grand Flight" i have seen in an arcade flight game. I dunno, but i didnt like Joint Assault at all and its one of the weakest games of the series, i quit it after 3 hours and cannot understand who would really consider playing this game and coming back to it after the first supreme ACX on PSP. Sorry, as much i would like to give a higher rating, but i cannot give out more than a 6/10, this game was a huge disappointment for me.
