I think this might be the game, that they torture you with in hell. This might be even worse than Darksiders 1, because there are actually good things hidden within. Let's start with the movement... our hero is still the same slow snail as before, but at least he has a horse, that moves slightly faster. But the movement problem did not vanish, because the world in DS2 is way bigger than the one in DS1. So yep, half of the game you'll spend on travelling and ignoring enemies that spawn all the time... this is a disgrace to the gaming community as I once said. So, you'll probably ask me: are the puzzles better than in DS1? No... they're just as awful as in the previous part... and very easy to figure out I must say. They annoy me, because they're wasting my time. I know what I have to do, but it takes me 5 to 20 minutes to finish them, because the movement is slow and this is not how you should develop your game. You know what's good in Darksiders? Fighting is. Why not focus on the fights? Well, I don't know, so every location has many stupid and easy to do puzzles that only devour our precious time and it's not like you'll feel satisfaction from figuring them out... they're easy! So, what's new, that is good and wasn't in the first part? The locations are... they're gorgeous. I love the vibe of the places... I would love to explore them and have fun, but I won't, because I have to do the s***ty puzzles and then go to a different location. This game makes me sad. The reason of my sadness is that the fighting is great, the locations are beautiful, story is interesting but the rest of this game is garbage. Even garbage thinks this is bigger garbage. I expected more from a sequel of a sh***y game that was Darksiders. I thought, that if they did the sequel they would make the game better... well they didn't. I won't be playing Darksiders 3. Also, I hate how they make you go through the same corridors many times: yes go to that place, figure out the puzzle and pick the thing you need, now go back through the same corridor and face again the same enemies and waste your time... this is the worst level design in a videogame ever. Doom (1993) is laughing at this and DS 2 was made in 2012. This game makes me wish that there was an actual apocalypse in 2012 and we would all die, so this game wouldn't be played at all... remove this filth from plains of existence along with Darksiders 1. What a disgrace to the gaming world. This game is the second biggest disappointment in my life (the first one being my son Harry... ungrateful little s**t). It's a damn shame too, because the game has some good ideas from time to time, but it all falls down on its knees, ready to get r**** by some catholic priest. When, I bought this game, I expected some fun slasher game, filled with amazing gameplay mechanics, some cool combos, some good puzzles along the way, upgrades, nice soundtrack etc. Well, I got nothing like this. NOTHING! The first 20 minutes of the game are really good, they encourage us, give us some good fun. The city is falling, people are dying... yep, just a typical sunday for a little shy fellow named WAR. But the excitement will leave you sooner, than your meth-abusing-girlfriend and the s**tshow soon commences. It's hard for me to say this, but have you ever worked? If you're as old as me, I'm sure you had some s**ty jobs in your life, that were tedious, boring and you just wanted to go home, because you knew that the stuff you were doing at work was pointless and not worth your time? Well, these are the exact, same feelings, I had while playing this game. Before, I delve into the details, let me bring up the biggest flaw of this game... something that for me is the most important thing in the game... and it's the speed of the person we're playing as. War is slow. It's very slow. Why is there no sprint button? There's like a fast dash under the left alt but it's short and after you make it, the character stops for a second. What the hell is this supposed to be? War is slow like snail... if the snail was slowed down by another snail that was in front of him and was also slowing down, because there was a sign for the snail people that said "slow down". Is this a joke? Why the main character is so slow, IN A FU***NG VIDEOGAME that 80% of gameplay is just going somewhere... this game is wasting our time on purpose! This pisses me off... I need to talk to the stone giant and he's on the north side of the town very far away and it takes me 10 minutes to get there and in game nothing happens at that point. There are these little demon people going about, but who cares? I just avoid them, so I don't waste more of my time and I'm just walking. Darksiders: Apocalypse Walking Simulator, buy now! I guess in Darksiders 2, Death cures people like Gregory House... that's just how ridiculous walking is in this game. So when we're not walking in Darksiders, we're solving stupid puzzles... like finding swords for mother of Jesus. I guess she's mother of Jesus, because the statues look like her... who cares? Moving on, if we're not searching for swords, then we're doing other boring things like searching for switches that activate another switches that activate some gates and behind those gates there's a chest and inside that chest is a key that will open another door and so on and so on... it's always the same. Each chapter is like this and it makes me want to die. This game is work and nobody is even paying me for playing this! You know what this reminds me of? Doom from 1993... on each level you had to find three keys... but Doom had amazing gameplay and cool secrets and it was released in FU***NG 1993! Darksiders came out in 2010! So when we're not looking for switches or walking, we're fighting and the fighting is not bad. It actually reminds me of the X-Blades game which wasn't exactly a masterpiece... or even great lol. So, we're be mostly doing the same finisher on lots of enemies and fighting with bosses will be the most **** thing, you're ever gonna see in a videogame. Why is the each later boss easier? What the hell is going on? And not it's even like the game is hard... played it on apocalypse difficulty and I died like only several times... mostly because of jumping into the lava like an idiot, that I am. The rest of my deaths were because of the first boss, that giant booby demon lady. The next bosses were a "walk"( heh walk... see what I did there, because the game is a walking simulator) in the park... linkin park. So what that even leaves us with so far? Soundtrack was forgettable.. graphics were fine... story was the only thing that kept me going and going. This game is a joke and I don't understand how people can enjoy it. You're a bunch of masochists... you're sick... seek help. I'm giving this a 4, because I liked the beginning and the story.. fighting was cool too, but that's all. This game is a chore and I hate chores. Pickens condemns!

The spirit of the Trine has been restored! Trine 3 is the first game in the series that's in 3D. That's cool and all, but does it really matter? No. It's still the same awesome game, that the first part was. This one is definitely better than Trine 2 and the sh**ty dlc "Goblin Nickelback". Trine 3 gives us back the great puzzles of Trine 1. It features a lot of interesting enemies and ideas and the best level designs in the entire series. Sure, the rpg elements have been removed and the collectibles are easier to find, but that's nothing. What makes me happy here is that the Trine 1 spirit has been resurrected, there are no pointless secrets and chests filled with poems (I'm looking at you Trine 2), no irrational puzzles or goblins. Well, there are some goblins, but not for the entire game, which is a big relief! I would give this a 10/10, but the game is unfinished. The studio run out of funds and they just released what they were able to finish. This is just half of the game and it shows. It's short and the story ends abruptly with promises to be continued. But as far as I know there's no Trine 4 planned... which makes me quite sad. Once a strong series now decays, because of financial problems... this is sad. I hope this will be continued... I hope for Trine 3 Dlc or Trine 4... are they gonna do it? Time shall unveil. For now this is 8/10. Pickens approves!

Aug 20, 2018
I expected a lot from Trine 2. Trine 1 was a masterpiece when it comes to the graphics and fun gameplay. What Trine 2 has? Well for sure the best graphics in the series, but the gameplay got dumbed down a lot. First, the secrets (chests) are completely pointless. In Trine 1 there were artifacts hidden in chests that gave us certain advantages in the game... here these chests are filled with SH**TY poems or lame concept arts... what a waste. The bigger waste is removal of the artifacts. You know what else is gone? The great triangle that the sorcerer could spawn in Trine 1... yep it's gone. Instead Zoya got a blue arrow that creates a bubble that slows everything. And this is actually the core of the game... almost all of the puzzles are solved with the blue arrow and it's a real shame, because the first part had some diversity, but nope it's the blue arrow here! Also, because Trine 1 was not a long game, the developers decided to make Trine 2 harder... so it would take us longer to beat it, which is a disgrace. I finished Trine 1 on hard with hardcore mode on and had great time, but here this kind of difficulty is a bloody mess... better play it on normal. And that's mostly all the negative things I can say about Trine 2. The graphics are amazing, level designs are awesome, story is interesting.. some puzzles are really good, while other ones are a joke. It's a good game, but compared to Trine: Enchanted Edition it falls flat. Trine 2 is 8 out of 10. Now, because we're talking about "Complete Story", I have to review the dlc "Goblin Nickelback" too. Well the dlc is awful. Don't get me wrong, the level designs and ideas are amazing. The dlc has one of the best level designs in the series... but... BUT there's a BIG BUT... the puzzles are a joke. While some are fun, the majority is tedious and just dumb. This DLC gave me real physical pain, while going through it. I can't stand it, which is a shame. I know that some people will want to crucify me for this, but that's just how it is. I wish this dlc didn't exist. Also what's with the goblins in trine 2 and the dlc? There are mostly just goblins and no one else as antagonists... Trine 1 had lots of different enemies and here there are just goblins, some spiders rarely and some plants, that are hungry like Charlie Sheen is hungry for drugs. Either way this package is 7/10. Better play the first one. Still, Pickens approves!

Better than Guerilla, that's for sure. The GTA clone is gone for now and we get a linear story, no sandboxes here. To me, this is a great thing, some people might consider it a bad thing. This time we're going back to the roots of Red Faction, back underground blowing stuff (still can't create tunnels with explosives, as I said in other reviews, you can only do that in OG RF). The biggest change from the previous RF games is that this time around we will fight aliens, that have been awakened from their slumber. So, now this game looks kinda like Dead Space only it's not scary and you can destroy enemies in many fun ways. Some examples: blow them up, make parts of buildings fall on them, link some enemies to each other and watch them destroy themselves etc. This game is fun as hell and I don't know why people are complaining... it's a great addition to the RF franchise. This is going to be a pain in the *HAMMER*. I love original Red Faction game... I've replayed it A LOT and then RF 2 came out and it was still good, but not as good as original. Then Volition forgot about the series and after a few years we'd get this... Guerilla. What is this game? Well, basically this is a GTA clone, but on Mars with destructive elements, but not as destructive as in original Red Faction (you can't do your own tunnels with explosives, actually Guerilla takes place only on the outside). So, if you're a fan of sandbox games, you'll love this game. There are s***loads of side missions like blowing stuff up, rescuing faction members, driving supplies on time... if you're planning on doing all of these missions this game might take you around 30 hours to complete. And this is a problem with this game... the side missions. There are probably around 6 types of these missions and there is TOO MUCH of them. These side missions quickly become a chore, not fun. The fun stays in blowing stuff up, not driving supplies on time... is this Far Cry? I'm really not happy with the path they have taken with this game. It has nothing on first two Red Faction games. Destroying stuff is fun as hell and the campaign is okay, but the music is an atrocity... it's amazing that there's no "See You" album from Korn on the soundtrack, it's that bad... or maybe there was no music? You see it was so forgettable that now I'm not even sure if there was any music to begin with! I'm having a hard time reviewing this game... mostly I really liked it, but it has so many annoying elements like health regeneration... the f*** is this supposed to be? I want medkits, not hiding behind a piece of furniture that the enemies will destroy and in 5 seconds I will have to find another cover and then another cover and then finally regenerate... why don't just give us medkits? **** Mason is a big boi, he can hold a big hammer, let him carry 10 medkits, so we can heal instantly anywhere and make the game more fun. Nah, let's add health regeneration, because it's "cool" and "newschool", I really hate this... I will always complain about health regeneration, because it makes the fights annoying. Also the game has that star system from GTA, but instead of stars and the police chasing you, you get a weird bar and if it's yellow they're onto you, if it's red better pack things up, because enemies just won't let go! These poor **** just keep on coming and are so violent that it's nuts! The fact that to start a mission you'll need to have the alarm bar "green" does not help... you'll spend lots of times waiting for the bar to turn green, because some **** spotted you from a mile and started shooting and won't stop chasing you! This is absurd! All in all, I complained A LOT here, but I think this is an okay game... play it if you've got the time! Pickens approves!

Childhood game right here! This sequel to Red Faction wasn't as good as original, but still it was a hell ****. The campaign was very short, but fun. The game shined mostly in multiplayer which was fun as hell and I'm pretty sure I've lost a couple of hundred hours while playing it. The destruction element sadly was pushed back, you can't destroy everything like in Red Faction where you could basically build new tunnels with explosives... but that's sadly a trend in RF franchise... neither of sequels will reach the same level of destruction that OG RF had. Check out this game and you won't be disappointed! March on, Red Faction calls! Pickens approves!

It's sad that Sigma-Team is such a poor studio, that they need to develop such small average titles to survive. If you've played their previous games from Alien Shooter franchise you will be surprised at how weak this game looks compared to them. This game is a simple tower offense game, where your units move and the only thing you can do is click on the screen to spawn more or make them throw grenades... most of the sounds are from Alien Shooter franchise and the game has a problem with stability... seriously I had frame dropes while playing this and it's laughable to say the least. I can run Far Cry Primal on ultra with no problems, but I can't run Alien Hallway because it's killing my pc... this is a joke, but at least the game is short and fun. This is not a game... it's an experience. If you'll play this, you won't ever forget this. I mean it in a good way and a bad way. Let's talk about good stuff... the soundtrack is magical, the graphics are old, but that is expected from a 1999 game, but the design is just amazing. Everything looks surreal and out of place... at least to me and I love it. Also David Bowie is in the game. He might be dead in the real world, but he's alive and well in Omikron, so that's that. The story makes no sense and the gameplay is horrid... it actually causes pain. Especially the fights with bosses... what an atrocity. To me this is a good example of a wasted potential. Here's a game that had a living city full of people and cars in 3D long before GTA 3 with amazing art style and atmosphere, but thanks to ridiculous plot and awful gameplay it all falls short and becomes a big mess... this is a game that everyone should try out and see for themselves if it's good or not. I'm a big fan of the atmosphere of this game, so I won't rate it bad, because for the most of the time I had fun, but I won't forget the frustration that this game caused me and lack of rationality in certain parts of the game. Here, the story is amazing and makes you want to keep going, but the ridiculous gameplay can put you off. While the graphics are mind-blowing and the flying city is a marvel to watch, it all falls flat when you can only carry two weapons, can't hack vending machines (can only use possession on them) and the main character is unlikable.
