Genshin Impact3
Oct 20, 2024
Positives: Genshin Impact stands out for its stunning visuals, which truly bring the fantasy world of Teyvat to life. The game’s art style is vibrant and well-detailed, with various regions offering a mix of landscapes that keep exploration visually refreshing. Adding to the charm, the game’s soundtrack is often breathtaking, with orchestrated music that enhances the emotional and immersive experience, especially in boss fights and open-world exploration. Additionally, the co-op mode adds a layer of fun when playing with friends, offering moments of teamwork and shared adventure, especially in harder domains or events. Negatives: However, the game has some major drawbacks. The quests often feel repetitive and uninspired, and the main story does little to stand out among other RPGs, coming across as rather average. The world, though beautiful, can feel empty after prolonged play, as many areas lack meaningful interaction or diverse activities. The absence of a skip dialogue button can be frustrating, as a large portion of the gameplay is spent in long-winded conversations with NPCs, making it feel like the game forces you to sit through unnecessary dialogue. Another significant issue is the presence of sexualized content, which might make some players uncomfortable. The game also suffers from occasional bugs, which can disrupt the experience, and the NPCs often feel like mere copies of one another, lacking unique personality or visual differences. Puzzles throughout the game are largely repeated, making them feel monotonous over time, and grind-heavy mechanics are a constant theme, as players are required to repeatedly do the same daily tasks or events. The game pushes players into a repetitive cycle, which can feel tiresome, especially with certain activities only available on specific days or a weekly treasure limit that restricts progress. There are additional frustrations, such as the inability to heal your characters multiple times in quick succession, which can make certain battles more tedious than challenging. Final Verdict: Despite its artistic brilliance and some engaging multiplayer elements, Genshin Impact falls short in terms of story, variety, and gameplay balance. The frequent repetition, lack of meaningful interactions, and dialogue-heavy nature detract from the overall enjoyment. For these reasons, Genshin Impact scores 3/10, with points awarded for music, the world design, and co-op fun.

This game is something completely out of this universe. It makes you wonder what people are really like. Fantastic story, beautiful graphics, great sound and amazing gameplay. All actions have a consequence and affect the course of the game. The player is often faced with difficult moral questions, and it is an eye-opening experience. David Cage did a miracle with his team - they were so committed to how the player would feel about the choices and what the player would want to do. I would highly suggest choosing difficulty level as casual. Casual gives the player the best way to enjoy and immerse himself in the story. Experienced difficulty level is for someone who is looking for a fast gameplay and does play a lot on a daily basis. This is definitely one of the most underrated games of all time! Definitely a must play game! I play on a PS4 Pro, and the games are installed on an external super-fast SSD. Therefore, my experience may be significantly different from yours who do use internal slow stock storage.

Positive things:
• Beautiful graphics
• Best ever made Japanese samurai game Negative things:
• Return to tale constantly, can’t explore or take another approach.
• In boss fights can’t use your tools/bombs/weapons other than a sword.
• No Ghost Stance (L3+R3) on boss fights.
• Medium is hard on boss fights, I had to lower the difficulty.
• Big bad guy escapes all the time.
• Uncharted + TLOU gameplay.
• Not only do you fight with enemies, but you fight also with camera.
• The world feels empty, and nothing threatens you there.
• Only one choice affects the outcome, all other choices in the game you take do not affect the game at all.
• First time in my life I wanted to skip cutscenes, but you are unable to do so in this game. You are forced to watch every single cutscene.
• Repetitive.
• Mono No Aware is the last trophy that you will get from completing the main story. Only 40 % of players have it which tells a lot about this game. In other words, a large number of those who have given some kind of rating about this game have not even played through the main story. Why do you do such a thing? Why give a positive rating if you haven't even completed the main story of the game?
• Ghost of Tsushima literally feels like a Ubisoft game. I play on a PS4 Pro, and the games are installed on an external super-fast SSD. Therefore, my experience may be significantly different from yours who do use internal stock storage.

I played this game on PlayStation 4 Pro. Game version is 1.61. I started playing in March 2023, almost two and a half years after the game came out (December 2020). It was 80% off and there's a good reason why it was so cheap. The graphics are very beautiful at times and then again in the next moment the graphics are like I was playing on the PlayStation 3. The story is interesting, but it is nothing special. This game tries to be a mix between GTA, Watch Dogs and the Netflix series called Altered Carbon. The city seems empty, soulless and there are generally few vehicles and people on the streets. The game fails to load the world while running around town. You stand still and then you see how different things appear around you. Unfortunately, this game still has a lot of bugs and issues. Some examples of what I have encountered: 1. This is the first game that has managed to turn off my PS4 Pro in the middle of playing without any warnings. 2. There was no indication on the screen to collect things in the world, I had to press a button repeatedly and aim the object in the middle of the screen to pick it up. Guess what, it showed up after I had played the game for about 8 hours. 3. In order to run in the game, I had to jump in the air first, and only then I was able to activate the running function. 4. When driving around with a car, it sometimes jumps into the air by itself for no reason. 5. Sometimes there were absolutely no gun sounds of the shooting in the gameplay. Music just played in the background. 6. The AI sometimes behaves very strangely. Enemies appear randomly, they spin in the air, jump around here and there, all this is before they start shooting me. 7. The list could be endless, if I don’t stop here. After playing for 11 hours, I encountered such a bug that there was no way around it. I tried many different solutions and finally gave up. This same issue has been around since the game came out and the developer still hasn't fixed it. The internet is full of posts about this problem. My version of the game is 1.61, which came out November 2022. However, it is now the middle of March and there has been no update to the game in the last 3 months. Have they given up on fixing this game? “I walk the line” quest got me completely stuck. More precisely, it is a task called “Find the agent in the cinema.” Industrial shutters remain shut and there’s no way to fix it. I tried various possible solutions (loading old save game, restarting mission, doing things in different order, restarted PS4 Pro etc.) on the internet, and nothing worked. Other players have had the same problem and have also not been able to resolve it. This game is still full of glitches and bugs. I can't recommend this game at all. NB! There is another page for PlayStation 5 version, please post here only if you have played the PlayStation 4 or PlayStation 4 Pro version of this game.

The Last of Us Remastered10
Jan 16, 2023
I played through The Last of Us way back in 2013 when it came out. After that I sold the PlayStation. But now I was planning to buy a new PlayStation 5 and since it is still not available in the store, I bought a used PS4 Pro to play The Last of Us Remastered and The Last of Us Part II. All these years later, this game is still very beautiful and with a fantastic story. Over the years I have noticed various reviews as if Joel and Ellie were father and daughter. However, this statement is not true, they are complete strangers, at least at the moment when they meet. The DLC Left Behind was interesting and talked about Ellie's personality, how she managed when Joel was sick and about friendship that Elli has brought to daylight in the main game. It was pretty short, but with a fantastic story. It's definitely one of the best games I've played.

Let's talk about these positive reviews of this game. On what basis do you give them? Have you guys played this game at all? I don't think so because I have evidence - an Xbox app. When you kill the last boss the Spider Mastermind, you get the achievement for completing the campaign on "I'm too Young to Die", "Hurt Me Plenty", "Ultra-Violence", or "Nightmare", just as I did. The app shows me that 17.47 % of players have completed the game. You are giving positive reviews even though you have not played through the game. Why do you do that? I will now write what I think of this game because I have completed it. I first played through Doom 2016 and immediately after that I played through Doom Eternal. These are two completely different games, Doom 2016 is a superb first-person shooter, but Doom Eternal is something else. If you want to know what Doom Eternal is, please feel free to read my review. I loved Doom 2016. The darkness, the blood in the facility from the humans trying to escape, control rooms where the humans desperately tried to fight the demons as they make their final stand. It really tells a story, tells the story of this hellish place on Mars. When it comes to sound design, DOOM 2016 seems more realistic and modern, Doom Eternal feels more like a retro 90s game when it comes to the explosion and laser sounds. Very well-designed levels and I never had to look from YouTube for how to play it. I felt that control was in my hands all the time and I knew what to do next. This game hooked me to play it, I couldn't get my hands off the controller. I wanted to know what was going to happen, I wanted to kill the next monster in my way. If you have never played Doom game, you definitely have to play this game. You will not miss anything, and you will understand what this game series is all about.

Let's talk about these positive reviews of this game. On what basis do you give them? Have you guys played this game at all? I don't think so because I have evidence - an Xbox app. When you kill the last boss the Icon of Sin, you get the achievement for completing the campaign on any difficulty, just as I did. The app shows me that 16.28 % of players have completed the game. You are giving positive reviews even though you have not played through the game. Why do you do that? I will now write what I think of this game because I have completed it. This is one of the most poorly designed games I've ever played. I went to YouTube to see how to solve some levels because the game didn't give any hints. It turned out that even when I watched how to go through a level on YouTube, the game has changed over time so that the YouTube video was not helping at all. I had to look for a newer video. In addition, I was constantly out of ammo and health, it is flashing on the center of my screen. There´s also different icons in the middle of the screen, which you can't really keep track of because something is going on all the time. Who puts these icons and texts in the middle of the screen? Glory kills positions you according to your enemy's position, not according to your player's location. This is a very big change compared to Doom 2016, because you are still in the same position when you leave from Glory Kill animation in Doom 2016. In this game, however, when you come out of the Glory Kill animation, you have no idea which direction you were heading to, and you have to start thinking about what you're doing now. All your opponents will attack you at once and at worst scenarios push you into a corner so that it is very difficult to get out. This is also a very big change compared to Doom 2016. In this game you have to be on the move all the time and look around, look for health and ammunition, because otherwise you will die. A few words about the story. The story is strange and isn't exciting at all. The game creator could have come up with a more exciting story. What is story behind green floating things in the air? Green floating weapons, green floating question marks, etc. Everything that floats is green. Mind blowing! When comparing Doom 2016 and Doom Eternal, the Doom Eternal really does look more cartoony overall, especially with those Mario fireball obstacles. Doom 2016 was a realistic reboot while Doom Eternal feels like a modern-day adaptation of the 90s games.
