I dropped this game and not cause its a bad game per se but because the world is simply boring and unengaging, even the gunplay isn't that fun or even innovative, this game is way too flawed in its gameplay and the way it tells its story

Overall, not a very engaging game with a pretty lackluster and uninteresting open world. The combat is kind of enjoyable but it feels like a rip off Sekiro. The game is clearly unoptimized as some of the larger enemies straight up appear to have no running animations at times. The atmosphere feels really dull and visuals are medicore for this to be a 2026 game. I do like the story but some of the cutscenes are too long and unnecessary for nothing to be happening. Also, the fact the game is strictly in Japanese is annoying because having to read and play at the same time is just a straight up horrible design. For now, I'm dropping this game and hopefully I'll pick it back up before the end of the year

Games too boring to be honest, the first few missions were fun then I just got bored. I don't think its a bad game and I think it has a lot of potential, I will revisit the DMC series eventually

I did't get too far into the game before I decided to drop it, I've played maybe an hour of the game if not less before I just couldn't take it anymore. The atmosphere of this game is horrible. Dante is much more bland and stoic in this game which takes away from his charm. The gameplay is abysmal, all you have to do is hold on the shoot button and breeze through the game, it's like you're not being rewarded for trying to do combos in this game, which is already horrible to begin with.

This is the best game i have played. From the story, to the characters, to the combat, the nostalgia, the development, the antagonists, Roxas, etc., this game is phenomenal in every aspect and takes 10 steps up from the original. My only only critcisms of this game is the world designs but that's every KH game and everything else makes up for it.

Honestly, just a horrble game overall, even witht boosts the game is extremely unintresting, disengaging, and just lacks the ability to grab the player in any way fashionable. Somehow, this is a huge downgrade to its predecessor, Final Fantasy, which had amazing an job system unlike Final Fantasy II, it had engaging dunegons, a sense of exploration that was genuinely interesting, great cities that tied into the story in a better way than Final Fantasy II, it had a better final boss as well. Final Fantasy II has a decent story but the game is so boring that I couldn't even care about it. The party system is some of the worst ever as they treat the 4 spot as a never ending free spot that constantly gets swapped which causes an endless amount of grinding needed for a new character that joins just so they can catch up. I wouldn't play this game even if you paid me, I pray the other entries aren't like this.

Started off the game strong and it was really nice until you get to the worst boss in the entire game.

The story alone grants this game an 8/10 it does a great job at building up the organization and helps with key plots points later on the series, i didn't play it but from cutscenes alone it has my praise.

I didn't play the game since it wasn't playable in the bundle but purely based on story I'd give this an 8/10 because it expands on Roxas and Xion's relationship as well as how they are both different versions of Sora, the storytelling was damn good and for that I'll give this an 8/10
