Whilst facing occasional stutters when entering a planet's atmosphere every now and again, the game is an incredible masterwork, even on the switch. It has a limitless galaxy and endless places to explore, trade, fight and carve your place into the universe

A scintillating roguelite, certainly the highpoint of the genre. Astonishing artstyle, carefully made character development and a well-tailored health management system makes it at the pinnacle of indie games. I have spent hours on it, and sometimes I just pause to listen to the music. A game where you can feel the care, the time taken on it. An instant joy to play.

Certainly the best platformer game I have ever had the privelige of playing. Beautiful artstyle, incredibly dramatic music, seamless platforming and hours of gameplay. A brilliant game, but if I had one note it should be that it is also the hardest video game I have ever played.

Although I can clearly see the appeal to such a game, I find the game very hard and confusing, which ruins the experience. Though it might only be me, but I seem to have spent many hours walking around in circles trying to find the right thing to do. Therefore, I can only rate this as low as a 4.

It is the perfect party physics game, with countless easter eggs and quests to embark on. However, as is the recurring theme with all the reviews I have read, I believe it is only mediocre solo. However, this is acceptable due to its incredible party mayhem. Never have I seen so many comedic glitches in a single game, and yet I love it for them.

It is the timeless classic Zelda game. It has everything you think of when you hear the name, "Zelda" I wish I could give it like 95, as though it is a brilliant game some mechanics are a bit clunky, but this can be accepted given its age.

Whilst at first I was heavily skeptical of such a blatant outlier of the Zelda formula, I have grown to love this game and its beautiful, cel-shaded art style. Though Nintendo have broken away from the standard Legend of Zelda formula with the open world and seamless dungeon integration, it remains a distinguishable Zelda game in the sense of immense lore, lovable characters and calls the same charm of other games from the Zelda series. It has an incredible open-world and is a technical masterpiece on such restricted hardware. I am in awe of Nintendo for managing to hold the charm of a Zelda game whilst simultaneously reinventing the wheel of the standard Zelda formula. A true masterpiece and by far the best video game of its generation.

I am highly opinionated on this game. As a long time Zelda enthusiast, I reject this game fully. It absolutely ruins the classic mechanics and touch which make Zelda games feel real. The echoes system is a good idea, but it turns combat into merely watching your minion do the work. Dungeons are very simple and take little mental effort, which defeats the point of a Zelda game. The system of turning into Link for a short time is ill-conceived, as in makes an unnatural break in combat. Now, at this point you may be asking yourself why I rated it at a 5, then. That is because I believe that as a standalone title it has a decent, if ill-executed, idea. It is an alright game at heart, but I am highly opinionated due to my loyalty to the series. In summary, it is not for my tastes but could be better suited to the younger player

It is my favourite game of all time. While most zelda games are a bit lighthearted, this is a more mature and yet equally brilliant game. It beautifully sums up the zelda series, with well-suiting, atmospheric music and masterful mechanics.
