If you thought not being able to skateboard in real life was fun wait till you can't do it in a video game either. What almost feels like a fun skateboarding game is held back by a learning curve that most will probably just give up on. Sessions opts to go with a two joystick control system for tricks which requires you to input potentially multiple flicks into two joysticks back to back which isn't impossible but isn't a skill most people will have right off the back and causes the game to feel less fluid. When you do manage to do something on purpose or that you wanted to do it does feel good. But do to controls and lack of any real substance most will probably put this one down to play something else.

Significant improvements made after the disaster that was it's a initial launch. But still does no quite live up to being an amazing RPG. Gameplay is fun but mostly forgettable. There's nothing really special or crazy about it. You can use melee weapons or shoot guns. You have the ability to upgrade these skills. Enemies are kind of bullet sponges. The action sequences are still fun despite not being any kind of breakthrough in innovation. The story is really good at times and really bad at others. There's a lot of moments where they attempt to keep you immersed by having you walk around listening to someone talk or sitting and moving your head while listening to someone talk. These pieces would be better replaced in my opinion by amazing looking cut scenes. You don't usually end up doing anything of any real significance during these scenes so at least having something nice to look at would make them more enjoyable. When the story is good it's fun and keeps you hooked. The dialogue is on par with any action movie where sometimes it's okay and sometimes it comes off like it's written by 14 year old. The city is large and very detailed but lacks any actual life. There's lot of alleyways and nooks and crannies but not much to do in any of these places. You can't enter most buildings most npc can't be interacted with and don't say anything. In GTA or skyrim they at least give you a sentence or two or say something witty as you walk by but that's not the case here. With a little more work and polish this probably could have been a 10/10 RPG but to many mediocre or sub par components leave this game being a fun but average RPG.

If you like the previous games it's def more of the same. In my opinion the biggest draw backs to these games is the writing of the characters. They lean way to hard into campy and over used horror movie tropes. Choices are still fairly black and white, you're either going to go this route or that route there's no in between or multiple ways to get to route scenario.

If you are a fan of dragonball you will be in for fun ride that spans a large portion of dragonballs history. If you're looking for a well polished fighter you're gonna be ****'s not that the fighting is bad it just feels clunky and not very intuitive at times. The game does a poor job of explaining controls and all the different nuances to fighting. The tutorial is a very basic bare bones tutorial that doesn't quite give you all the tools you'll need to succeed at the game. That being said the gameplay over all is still fun and many fights end up being a very satisfying clashbetween good and evil. The character roster is ridiculous, you'll surely be able to find a character you love among them. The Easter eggs and references to the show that are hidden through out the game and dialogue make it a real joy for old fans to find and experience. If you're a fan of the anime this is a must buy.

So we are just gonna get this out of the way right away. This game is 100 percent a walking simulator and that's part of what makes it so amazing. They created mechanics around walking and created an environment that makes you think about the simple task of walking. Now that being said there is much more to this game. There is a reason you are walking and delivering packages. As it is a hideo Kojima game expect a game that is 60 percent movie and 40 percent playable movie haha. It's a very story driven game, if you don't care about the world and the events going on in that world you will in no way care about this game. If you like to sink yourself Into a game and immerse yourself in its world this game does great job of that. The story is weird and little out there but so amazing. The graphics are great, the cut scenes look amazing and the world you roam around in is equally as beautiful. The online component of helping each other and being able to leave tools in other plays games and such is much cooler than it initially sounds. Down sides the fighting mechanics seem like a bit of an after thought. The constant reminder about the metaphor of strands and rope gets tiresome pretty quick. If you love story driven games this is a great choice.

Not a bad game but alot is left to be desired. Graphics are good for the most part, the game is easy on the eyes. Controls are good. The story is pretty sub par, you can definitely find worse but if your looking for some depth or real character you probably won't find it here. One of the large problems is in a game about choices, the game has tendency to push you in whatever direction it wants you to go regardless of your choices. Thus rendering some choices weightless, your choices merely annoyed another character or made another character your friend but didn't change the story path.
