Played most Resident Evil games, and this one is easily my favorite. The beginning is genuinely terrifying, especially the mansion with Grace. You feel completely powerless, which makes the horror hit hard. Later, the game gives you more control, but it still keeps the tension. It never turns into full action, and never becomes boring. The balance between fear, survival, and gameplay is just perfect. Also runs surprisingly well even on lower settings. Finished it in basically one go and enjoyed every second. Best Resident Evil for me. 10/10

the thaumaturge is not a regular game you find daily on console and pc platfroms, but is merely a living novel and that is how it was supposed to be seen at the first place. i believe the ratings given esp by the critics are unfair as they evaluate the greatness of game with a whole different genre to the common games which are mostly focused on gameplay comparing to the thaumaturge. if you are looking for a game where story and lore matters in a gray tsarist world then this is your game but if you are looking for a dopamine stash filled with flashy movements and fast gameplay this is not your game as simply it was not designed to be that at the first place. so to the critics, i would like to say that you must learn to evaluate a game based on its purpose and how it lives up to it rather than setting an stereotype for a good game and rate every video game based on that single standard!

As a person who played almost all zombie games, this was absolitely the worst zombie gameof history! The developers seemed to like bothering the players by overwhelming number of boss fights and zombies that basically dont die! Literally spent 30 minutes hitting a big one untill it died. It almost surprising that how the developers of a masterpiece like dying light and dying light 2 made such a terrible and boring game Definitely not recommended if you dont like pressing a single botton for 30 minutes just to kill a repititive boss
