Working Class

Working Class doesn't seem to have any lofty ambitions. It's a family drama with characters who are a little goofy, but credible, and it seems to recognize that their interaction needs to be the core of the show's humor.

This is only an average situation comedy, but even the great ones have worn that makeup.

You'll likely guess every development at least a minute or two beforehand. But Peterman's enthusiasm for her role is tangibly contagious, making it possible that a decent percentage of opening night viewers might RSVP in the affirmative to this show's overall "Ya'll come back, ya hear" motif.

There's nothing obnoxious about the show; it's just bland.

All Class ought to do is make CMT viewers pine for more "Hee Haw" reruns.

Working is filled with bad jokes you can see coming from a country mile.
