Art the Clown is definitely the new slasher icon for this generation of horror. David Howard Thornton's expressions really pitch a disturbing story, and the amount of violence is almost unreal. This film never would have been released in the 80s or 90s and naturally this is what horror fans want to hear.

Damn near perfect. I saw terrifier and it's sequel within a week of each other. As I stated in that review I thought terrifier 1 should be the sequel and terrifier 2 should be the original. This was a good scarefest that really hyped me up for the sequel which disappointed. I really liked terrifier and thought it was very good. Hopefully they make a third one and keep everything about the original which was scary, fun, and excited me and toss aside it's trash of a sequel. Art the clown is just a fool. Bravo!

Without a single line in the movie, David Howard Thornton managed to steal every scene and make an iconic character.

It's not my thing. It was interesting, but I don't need over-the-top gore for gore's sake. I didn't even finish the movie.

Normally I really like horror movies so I checked out that Terrifier film. That movie ****. The film made almost no sense, like, what was with the beginning movie? What was that about? Why did they kill off the main protagonist halfway through and bring in new characters? The guy uses a gun? so lame and cheap? He can come back alive at the very end of the movie without any explanation? Why did the film hates on trans people? This had to be one of the worst horror films I think I've ever seen even though I thought the practical effects were really great and Art the Clown had a cool look.
