Threes is the sort of game that exists purely to ruin your life, to make you regret ever buying your damn smart phone. [May 2014, p.83]

If you love number puzzles, Threes is a must-play.

Despite some frustrating chaotic elements, Threes! is a dashing, intelligent, and deceptively simple treat. This is your next essential puzzler.

Threes! is as close as you can get to a perfect game. It leans into a simplistic style of everything you need and want in a game and nothing else. However, as simple as the premise of the game is, it has wonderfully complex strategy, a polished look, and a way of never getting old. That's not even mentioning the beautiful music or the (not) price. Deserves an 11/10.

Just simple game, swipe box to sum the number. The gameplay is sum number with same number multiple three. Three number are from one and two. If you can sum, the game is over.

When I first saw this game I thought it was yet another 2048 ripoff. When I purchased it I found a game with a simple yet fun premise and some of the best music I've heard in an ios game. This game is worth every cent I paid for it.

We’ve rarely had this much fun with a game as simple as Threes!. Everything about it just works, from the visual execution to the deep gameplay and funny sound effects. Hours become minutes with this game.

Never has sliding tiles around a 4x4 grid been as charming - or as fun - as it is in Threes!

Threes! is simply one of the best puzzle games of the last 10 years. Believe the hype.

The game rewards strategy and patience time and time again, and you’d be doing yourself a disservice by not having it on your iOS devices.

In my opinion, this game is for everyone. The cute and silly little cards making weird noises and talking to you might look a bit childish, but this game is hardcore. It's one of those games that you think you understand, and then BAM, someone comes in with a better score than yours and you're just trying to become better and better until you realise that you just spent 4 hours straight playing this game. It's that ''dammit, one more time'' feeling that will get you hooked, but it's that ''oh my god I got a new high score'' feeling that will keep you coming back for more. It's cheap fun, and it's just pure awesome.

This is a fairly simple and boring game. I rather die playing Flappyball or alike than grinding this tile game again and again. I don´t even find it entertaining like candy crush.

I honestly have no idea why this game is ranked so highly. It's not charming, it's not particularly fun, mind stiffening, puzzeltadtic. It's a tile game, with numbers. It's simple and I was bored within five minutes. Granted I've never played candy crush saga, but if this is the new that, u guess that's one I won't play either. I could probably think of about 20 quick fix games that are more enjoyable.

A simplistic and throw away time waster, just like most other smart phone games really. Not terribly engaging or addictive. In fact I wouldn't call this a game in the traditional sense at all. Its more something to fiddle with while waiting for the bus. It certainly doesn't belong in the same ratings category as a proper video game does. This being rated higher than traditional video games like the “Last of Us”, “BioShock” or “Dishonoured” kind of shows up the irrelevance of Metacritic as a pointless grading system, one that has no meaning or point of reference.
