Puzzling Places executes its simple idea successfully. The clear appearance and calm atmosphere supports light puzzle solving, and handling those snazzy jigsaw pieces makes time fly easily.

Puzzling Places delivers a delightful and mindful experience that can induce a state of flow. Sometimes, the game feels downright frustrating if you get stuck and need help to make progress. But that is part of the challenge; the beauty and pain of jigsaw puzzles. This game can keep you amused and engaged for as long as you have puzzles to solve. It is the perfect game after a long workday when you want to relax and have a pleasant time. An ideal fit for the PS VR2, Puzzling Places is a must-have for any jigsaw puzzle fans.

You just have to hope the game cooperates to let you finish! We had multiple hard crashes, one of which corrupted our save, wiping away nearly an hour of puzzling. Still, we're going to assume the developer will issue a patch promptly, and as long as it does, this is PSVR2 at its most relaxed.

A relaxing game, feels really good on PSVR2. Can be really hard on max pieces, but can be fun.

The game is a decent way to burn through an evening puzzling, but the PSVR2 controllers often actively get in the way. I remember having to redo a puzzle about a dozen times in order to get the Perfect 50 achievement because either the pieces couldn't get close enough to connect with me holding one in each hand or the eye tracking would shift and I'd grab the piece beside the one I meant to. You also have to pick your poison between the game either not being great for motion sickness, or not great for your wrists, depending on whether you're moving yourself around the puzzle, or spinning the puzzle around to match you. There are a lot of really interesting puzzles though, and I really like the scale of them once you push up to 1000 pieces and start working on large interiors to the puzzles.

Puzzling Places unexpectedly evokes that early childhood memory of connecting my first two Lego pieces together, not least because it deftly leverages the haptic feedback capabilities of the PSVR2 to replicate that sensation from those halcyon days many years on. Wholesome, relaxing and never anything less than totally satisfying whenever I need a break from the world, Puzzling Places is puzzle solving zen distilled into its finest form on PSVR2 that everybody can play.

Most PSVR2 games look extremely cheap with some graphics like it's 1998. This is an exception. I don't like ordinary puzzles, but this is really fun and relaxing. My most played VR game besides GT7.

Whether it’s a snooker hall or a place out in the wider world somewhere, Puzzling Places is just… nice. Couple this with the fact they add new puzzles each month and you’ve a nice place to relax whenever you need it. It’s simple, but relaxing, and an easy recommendation.

I don't even like puzzles... But THIS IS FUN! Great way to get some relaxing and enjoyable time when you need to take a break from motion-sickness educing titles. Sound effects, graphics and creative ways the puzzles are cut, makes for a great time when you want to kick back and relax.
