Softcore, unbalanced, Big 100+ level people who love to farm new players repetitively and get a Bonner from it. Lots of people hacking with wall hacks. Unless you have a wad of cash be prepared to die a lot to people with OP guns. it used to be the default guns were great and some of the best but now its a game of steam roll your opponent and camp there spawn room. or die alot to a lvl 100 just trying to get out the spawn room there is no in-between there are very few magical moments that make you want to keep playing. You can spend clip after clip unloading in to someone for them to take you down in an instant With the NSX weapons. Anti vehicle rockets are like pea shooters that deal little to no damage on any targets. Your only friend is c4. people can quite easily walk through clamours and such taking very little damage. Not fun at all in its current state. Even the anti vehicle turrets are shockingly underpowered these days and you can get blown off them in one hit. I mean honestly play fortnite. At least you have the option to gain every weapon your opponent has in a reasonable amount of time. That is skill based this is a cash grab. Before daybreak took hold of this game it was epic whole 100+ man squads running over the battlefield bullets whizzing left right and centre its a far cry from the game i once fell in love with. And another note anything you buy on offer just is not worth having in the first place. Eg a cash grab!
In some respects PS2 deserves a 10 just for being the only game delivering on such a large scale and immersive conflict, it really is a feat of engineering and brings a kind of awe and spectacle that not other game can match. I would suggest to disregard any review that cites "P2W", these players are either misinformed, or whiney losers. I am likely a top 1-3% player in this game with multiple thousands of hours, and a long history of play in the games top Outfits ("Clans"). I can assure you that I, or anyone else similarly skilled can play a completely free account and be absolutely dominate in game; in fact there are many players who are better than me who do just that. For over a decade now the game has gotten continued updates and support. The game is genuinely F2P with an extremely conservative cash shop that offers no real combat power. The game is shockingly well balanced despite the 4 different factions and diverse arrary of land, sea, and air combat, both as infantry and in vehicles; and the combat of each type feels tight and engaging. My only gripe about the game is that it has serious performance issues, maintaining 60 fps or more in these large scale battles is necessary if you want to be a MLG level fragger, but despite upgrading my PC several times over the years I always find myself hungry for more and more performance. As a related issue, a common complaint about the game is that its graphics are dated and ugly, which is at least half way true, Planetside is never beautiful under close inspection, but can be dazzling when admiring the battle as a whole - however in the quest for better frame rates and performance many players (myself included) end up downgrading our graphics to the point that the game does become genuinely ugly. I want to give the developers some slack as top tier graphics just wont work on this scale ****, but if my performance remains only borderline satisfactory after a decade of new PC parts, this can only mean the game is slowly becoming unoptimized over time as well which leads most players to being in a constant performance limbo where a new PC upgrade only feels tangibly powerful for a limited time. All things said, Planetside 2 is an incredible game, at the individual level it is a fun tight shooter as good as any other triple A franchise, on a scale of spectacle and immersion that no other game can even approach. The fact this game has been constantly operated and updated for over 10 years as a genuinely F2P game is nothing short of a miracle.
This is the best free FPS I have ever played. If your looking for a shooter and your tired of COD and BF3 you should definitely give this game a try. : )
Planetside 2, offers a unique Sci-Fi Battlefield experience within the MMOFPS gaming genre. Similarly, it has combined arms with aircrafts, vehicle and infantry fights. Differences, good/bad is that battles have no pax limits in a single hex which means you can get some insane battles or/and get some crippling performance with those fights.
How to play Planetside 2: - Choose one of three factions: 1. The cool tech faction 2. The alien tech faction 3. AMURICA - Choose a starting class - Get immediately thrown in a squad where the leaders start shouting at you for being a new guy that doesn't win the game for them - Spawn wherever the squad is - Walk around for 5 seconds, looking for enemies to shoot at - Get killed by a sniper - Respawn. Run as fast as you can to avoid the sniper - Find the massive cluster of 20 units, both from your faction and the enemy faction - Shoot five shots that all result in friendly fire, before you get killed by a guy in power armor - Respawn and return to the cluster of people. fire six shots this time, two of which hit an enemy and the rest of which miss completely. get killed by the guy in the power armor again - Respawn and try to flank the cluster by going around. Uh-oh! you forgot about the sniper. but he didn't forget about you. He shoots you before you can react. - Respawn again, and try to outrun the sniper again. you fail, and he kills you. - Respawn once more, this time try to shoot at the sniper. But he's too quick, and shoots you twice in the head before you can even find him in your scope - Change to sniper so you can try to one-shot the sniper. you go a different direction to flank the sniper, but as soon as you manage to scope him, you realize that the cluster has now seen you, and is after you. You get killed by a grenade thrown from the cluster. - Respawn and go in an entire different direction, away from everyone, and try to look for someone who is alone. You find one! - Too bad for you he has 2561 hours in Planetside and has sick reaction skills. He's also a heavy, that activates his armor boost so your shots do little to no damage to him. he kills you - At this point, the cluster has moved to your spawn area, and you get killed two-three times before you finally give in. You leave the squad and redeploy - Spawn in a different location with fewer people. Get a few good hits, but suddenly a tank drives up behind you and shoots you in the back. - Respawn as Heavy to try and take out the tank, but the tank is long gone. before you manage to look up, a sci-fi helicopter of sorts kill you with an overkill amount of rockets that he clearly could've used on someone else. - Redeploy to VR Training and hide, for there nobody can hurt you. 7/10 would get killed by MAX suit again
I just started playing from a friend suggesting the game. But he admitted to not playing it in a while and when I told him about all the bugs and server lag he said yeah that's normal.
Poorly balanced, poorly maintained, always asking for money in every window that pops up. The game studio that created the game haven't been around for years. The game is now being thoroughly exploited by a small group of 'developers' who really do nothing.
The game has loads of input lag, hit registration issues, and bs that takes you out of a potentially great game. The game is a seven out of ten for "mixed feelings". The game has potential to be a nine out of ten if the bs is removed. "infinite potential zero hope"
A refreshing mix of an MMO and an FPS. One of the best free games on the market, I highly suggest it. The grind at first to get to a point where you don't get killed immediately is grueling, but the payout is extremely satisfying. 10/10, would definitely recommend!
I play this game since many years it's always in progress some time i just need to change game but after 2500 hours in i can told you it's not a pay to win! You play alone, you can play in a squad if you want for more impact a win the alert,i recomand that
I have been a early adopter of this game starting in Q1 of 2013, that's if i am correct the release in Europe. So I've been through all the ups and downs of this game.. I never played the original Planetside, but what striked me was that there were so many different continents to battle on. Planetside 2 never got this much continents, which is imho a **** contrucion update was kind of fun, but it all went downwards with **** warpgate imo, people get divided by this huge electical hurricane and the single player campaing is just as bad. mixing PVE and PVP is bad. Give PVE players the option to select PVE so the can be isolated from the big sandbox, like in WoW. I mainly keep on playing because I invested alot of time and money in this game, and the concept of huge battles has not been used in other games, but objectively, I have had much much better times in Planetside 2 back when it was basic and when there were people that would lead platoons and we would save our alert by just a hair! that's Planetside imho! What we have now is just a carnival of broken dreams and just a bit a hype every now and then...
MMOFPS ? > Planetside 2 !!! > Violence, Speed and Momentum. A unique game able to immerse players into the mess of a real battle between hundreds of players at the same times. Infantry, land and air vehicles all together. Last but not least > free to play and absolutely no pay to win. Do you like FPS ? forget the others PS2 is the one and only. 2012 short review : A MUST TRY for FPS lovers ... free and with hundreds of contemporary players .... BEAUTIFUL. 2016 After adding a lot of small new features and some vehicle devs brings the construction system update > now you can build and conquer player constructed bases. 2018 I have been playing Planetside 2 since 2012 and commanding an outfit (guild) I have accumulated quite a lot of experience. I would recommend this unique game (mmoFPS with 1000+ contemporary players) to anyone who wants to try a new challenge and immerse themselves in a constantly evolving world (4 planets with different climatic areas). 2020 after developers/company issue, Planetside 2 team is back to basics. Last updates feature Fleet bastion carriers and Colossus tanks. If they keep going in this direction PS2 has a bright future. ABOUT NEGATIVE REVIEWS >> IT'S THE LEARNING CURVE !!! to the people saying the opposite: I hope they have a total of played hours comparable to mine ... otherwise what are you talking about? I see 4 word reviews with actual 35 minutes ... scoundrels! Planet is huge and in 30/60 minutes you didn't even have time to participate or understand anything. MMOFPS >>> UNIQUE! forget to play Rambo style ... at least at the beginning ... with 30/60 opponents around a single base one false move translates into your abatement and subsequent respawn. If you know how to play FPS seriously, the keywords are "preaim" "prefire" "positioning". No game with 15/30 opponents will ever give you the thrill of a battle (infantry + ground and air vehicles with hundreds of real people). If you play immediately join a team and try to follow the orders of your team leader ... otherwise you will be alone and always cannon fodder. if you have enough Violence, Speed and Momentum see you on the battlefield.
What an absolutely terrible experience to have as a gamer. In order to have 1 moment of fun you will need to endure dozens if not hundreds of frustrating and miserable experiences being farmed or griefed by other players. The inbalance between the factions is insane, especially when it comes to vehicles and it honestly feels liek the community is 30% cheaters by the amount of times I have died to someone doing a backflip in their harasser and scoring headshots at 200 yards. It saddens me beyond belief how much time I have sunk into this game just to end almost every session with a feeling of loathing and anger.
Complete turn off for new users in it's current state. I'm not a fan of lame tutorials, but the very minimum one needs for a new game is to check the controls and get some orientation. Every time I spawned and tried to do anything meaningful, I was killed by assorted heavy machinery within seconds. It also felt pretty random compared to PS1. HE fire from all directions don't leave the grunt many choices, especially not one whose experience spans seconds. Getting rid of certs and allowing instant class switching almost makes it seem like PS2 was intended to be more of an Unreal Tournament than the strategic shooter the first game was. As a PS1 CR4, I think I will skip this mess.
A game unlike any other. It has taken A LONG time to mature, but it has shaped into something beautiful. I take long breaks, but every time I come back I get that same feeling of awe and grandness I felt playing back in 2013. Open continents with battles of dozens or even hundreds of players and vehicles never gets old.
I was one of the first player who played the open Beta of PlanetSide 2. Now the game has developed after many years in many directions into the bad one, where the unlogic has been introduced. One Example: The one who shoots first and hits continue with multiple headshots has no advantage against a enemy player who can still kill you at the same second. That's just the one point, but if i would write about the "Harasser" vehicle how it replaces all tanks in the game, i could open even a bigger topic how unbalanced this game is and without any logic.
Very average gaming experience, that somehow just seems to be getting worse, as word spreads among the games veteran community about the current influx of new players. These veterans are now logging back in again, not to help their beloved game grow to the size they would like it to be, but merely to farm all the clueless newbies. We're talking whole guilds, or Outfits as they're called here, playing vehicles, planes or whatever gives them the ability to farm kills without risking anything and basically just wiping the floor. I'm sure sometime in the not to distant future, these very same "elite" players will discuss on their forums why noone wants to play "their" game. Read all the gushing reviews below this and pay attention to the fact that most of the people praising this game, have played since 2013-14 or something like that. The games combat experience which is a bit like playing Battlefield 3's subway map on a loop, is made even worse by the fact that the servers isn't really up to the standards of this day and age and if you decide to give the game a go, you should be prepared to spend the majority of your time in game in queues and the rest of the time dealing with lag and low FPS. Gave the game a chance but am uninstalling as we speak, leaving this outdated "farming simulator", that have no tactical side whatsoever, to it's, by the looks of it, ever dwindling community of bitter vets.
This is the best multiplayer game I’ve ever played. Played it when it first came out in 2012 but my PC struggled at the time, returned about 6 months ago and wow, it has a steep learning curve but nothing has ever come close to the immersive rush this game provides. Stick with it, use the chemistry score to join squads that work together and enjoy the greatest war simulation online.
If you would have told me, six years ago, that this game would still be alive in 2020, I would have laughed. It's still here and still amazingly fun. It has a steep learning curve but the community has helped to soften it out. Commander Cyrious, Moukass and Nogigs have seen to that. It's free, so pull up YouTube, learn some tips, and hop in the fight. This is a game where you die a lot and still get rewarded. It's not Pay-to-Win either, the starter guns are pretty much the best.
As an free to play FPS game is very decent one, with biggest maps I ever see in my life :) One major flaw is a slow progress trough the game - every free to play game has same problem.
Planetside 2 feels like the thing that Battlefield intends to be. A true simulation of war. There are 3 different empires with different weapons, vehicles, and approach to war. The fight happens on 4 different continents, one at a time. The premise is simple - capture enemy facilities and defend yours, but the versatile class system and different vehicles make your tactical freedom almost infinite. This game truly feels like true war. It has problems, like all games. The tutorial is very basic, not covering many of the thing you need to know. A lot of players give up on the game 5 minutes after they get first deployed on a real continent. Playing solo her is pretty much impossible - you either need to have friends here, or be able to communicate with strangers. The optimization is not the best available. However, giving this game a low score wouldn't be very fair. No matter how you look upon it, its the only game in it's kind. You don't need to stay here for hundreds of hours, but trying it out, previously reading some guides, it something definitely worth doing.
Weird game.
A truly one of a kind game, even six years after release developers are working to update the game with fresh content and continually balance it for a healthy but smaller player population. Great gunplay and squadplay aspects that take time to master and greatly rewards skill. Planetside 2 needs to update its tutorial experience in order to foster greater interest from new players
A fantastic game destroyed by the greed of developer Daybreak. After the implementation of the extreme pay to win Implant system which gives paying players huge advantages the player base is nearly non existent. During non peak hours expect there to be 20 players on an entire world if your lucky. Very sad considering how far the game has come and how good it actually is to play now. Get your $%^& together Daybreak. Your games could be so much more popular then they are if you would just get your head out of your asses.
(This review is from 2012. Metacritic changed the date when I fixed some errors in my review) The best part about about PS2 is the epic scale of combined arms warfare. It still takes my breath away to watch dozens of tanks exchanging fire in the field while aircraft and bombers blaze in the sky above and hundreds of infantry blasting each other in a beautiful persistent world ALL AT THE SAME TIME. You just can't get that with any other game out there today. POSITIVE: It's free to play. The developers are actually talking to the players and changing the game based on player suggestions which is very rare these days. Just a few days ago a patch got released which added lots of new content that players were asking for. NEGATIVE: Having played through the whole beta, I was very disappointed that a lot bugs and faction balance issues are still not fixed in the live version. A lot of continents and weapons from the original Planetside 1 didn't make it to launch. However, it's free to play so I don't have to waste money until they fix the problems . You also will need a decent PC to play the game until performance optimization will be adjusted in future patches. I was going to give PS2 a 9 score but the game got released way too early for obvious SOE $$$ reasons so I bumped the score down to 7. I'm confident that the game will only get better over time.
Amazing game...!!! No pay to win...beautiful maps, vehicles, class and weapons...!!! The most beautiful game I've ever played, a small great masterpiece, fluid and fun gameplay, over average graphics for a free game, i play this game since came out on PCs and even on PS4, I love it. (sorry my bad English but I'm Italian)...!!!
I think that this is truly a unique game and I would recommend that if you are a fan of this type of genre then I think you should give this game a try.
This game is pretty harsh with beginners, it doesn't matter how much they pay: you really have to know what to do to survive in those large scale battles, special equipments can't save your ass in most situations, and most of the time you feel like cannon fodder, like everybody ****, harsh as a real combat should be. But I'm ok with it: I like challenges, and I was bored with standard fps. Planetside 2 is a new interesting fps experience, you really have to try it if you like the genre.
This should never get above a 5 out of 10. I am giving it a 1 out of 10 as pay2win is NOT OK IN THIS CURRENT ERA OF THE INDUSTRY!!!! Veteran players/subscribers have a very distinct advantage over regular players, and it does affect the game in a HUGE way. Now I am willing to subscribe to a game if I feel its good enough, but frankly, planetside 2 features broken gameplay mechanics, weapons that take an ungodly amount of time to farm certifications for... or buy them outright for about 6-10 dollars a weapon... and a lot of other piss poor implementations. Its not so much a game about skill, as it is about making sure you fire upon an enemy who hasn't seen you as the person who fires first, without being seen, is always going to get a kill. Many of the vehicle weapons are too weak and anti-vehicle weapons are the worst offenders, they are too weak to consider even trying to use. It takes around 10 anti-vehicle hits to destroy a lightning (light tank), and enemy engineers can repair through 1 person trying to pelt it with anti-vehicle. The weapons on most of the vehicles are a freaking joke, too. Air vehicles have a terrible time trying to kill light vehicles. I took out a little buggy in a mosquito, the buggy destroyed my mosquito (air vehicle) in 5 seconds, whereas I only got him to half health... WHERE IS THE LOGIC IN THAT??? A CAR WITH A MACHINE GUN, KILLS A VTOL WITH A MACHINE GUN, FASTER?!?!? Hell no, the game is garbage pay2win **** Dont waste your time, those giving the game anything above a 5, are liars or sheeple. Its BAD! And yes, it is pay2win, not freemium. There is no paywall to unlock certain features you cannot already have in the game by grinding an ungodly amount of time. You basically pay to get ahead, which is PAY2WIN!!!!! Developers, get out of the industry, you are failures!

This game is a combination of a MMO, a FPS and a RTS. You can either play solo or in groups, and the core objective of the game is to capture continents for your faction. Very addictive game, interesting mechanics, lots of vehicles and modifications available. Do recommend.
There are people who dislikes this game for game being hard. But doesn't mean game is bad. Game is VERY VERY entertaining and sometimes very funny. And about game does not teach you a thing it just throws you to war, there is quick tutorial about basic game controls like changing classes(just a basic overlook?). And atleast the players are not as toxic as CS:GO, yes there are salty players but they dont scream to mic like crazy. Game itself may seem hard at the start, gaining "certs" to buy weapon for your tanks, planes and such. But while you are playing ou realize something: Sure some weapons are better than others in some occasions but there is no such a thing as best, different weapons mean different play types. And if you can find a good outfit or "clan" you can enjoy the game for a long time. And yes this game is something that you respawn you fight you die... but the joy you get from balanced fight is something you guys have to feel.
Well well... it doesn't happen often that I change my opinion on some game so drastically, but I didn't expect this game to get so much better than before. I'd been playing this game in 2014 and it was quite crappy – lot of flaws and unbalanced as hell. I was looking for some FPS this year to play instead of battlefield series, that are getting worse and worse and I checked PS2 too. I decided to give it another go and what-the-hell! This game got much better – there are new gaming elements such as building bases and new weapons, the balance of the game got considerably better and lot of flaws has been removed/repaired. Definitely an improvement and kudos to the developers for listening to players, unlike lot of others. You have proven worthy of Vanu's legacy!
Impossible to contact support if you should ever get locked out of your account. I used to pay to play and when I forgot my password the game would not authenticate no matter what credentials I provided. There is literally nobody on the support team to help with any account issues whatsoever. Only play if you are willing to tattoo your password on your arm, otherwise you can lose all your progress and money spent on items at any time.
Everything that's wrong with Planetside 2: It's made purely to attract players by showing off max settings graphics during mass battles at night. What it doesn't tell you: -it's designed with a softened up pay-to-win system which means paying or not - all have access to the same gear but not paying takes a multitude of time amount required to unlock and upgrade the same gear compared to one who pays -this doesn't just affect weapons, it also affects defense and equipment - you serioursly have to unlock and upgrade your armor, too; also heavy soldier shield or medic heal etc. -you're USELESS and a soldier for the MEAT GRINDER with your lack of gear at the start, examples: You'll need a lock-on launcher to be able to destroy **** aircraft, C4 is immensely helpful at destroying tanks, so are anti tank mines etc.; Also you'll seriously have to unlock and upgrade the same type of armor for all of the infantry classes individually per class even though they're all exactly the same and working the same just for the sake of taking long and many points; the only class shared item in the game is the medkit for some reason. Other than that you'll constantly have to repeat the same unlocks and upgrades per class, for vehicles / aircraft even per turrert slot. -The game is designed as a point farming simulator to unlock and upgrade stuff and thus is a player farming simulator, not the future shooter that it first advertises itself as. This shows in two critical areas: 1) Story: There is none. After the initial basic training no story mission(s) exists, no text, not even a single line hinting to any context about the current conflict. Nothing. No one bothered to that day to add any story within the game for any faction and that shows what kind of people work on that game: People who don't care... 2) Futuristic: So you might expect future gameplay but that doesn't exists. There are exactly 3 things futuristic in this game: shields, real stealth and one faction's hover tank. Everything else is of a worse equipment standard than the current time military, especially rocket launchers which are a **** joke only because the devs didn't bother putting any actual tactics and gameplay into the game. -Combat: Except for area effect damage, the Phoenix rocket launcher and some ballistic weapons it's all about line of sight = line of fire. The game has no artillery, no interesting gameplay mechanics as they could've been recycled from any strategy game and even lacks things of other fps titles. -Infantry classes: The classes all just got one special ability and sometimes 1-2 additional items aka are not diverse enough. Medics are an utter failure by design as it's faster to resurrect a dead person from 0% to 100% than to heal an injured one from 1% to 100% and also the correct aiming is almost impossible if multiple players stand in another or very close because none of the devs ever bothered to auto-select the lowest health target in pointed direction instead of a full health that's in the way. Other design flaws exist for other classes. Classes have been given generic items to equip mostly instead of largely class specific gear that really alters their gameplay. -Vehicles / Aircraft: The ESFs (Empipre Specific Fighter) need to be pointed out as special. They're a mix of jet and helicopter and can hover in place as well as fly forward or dash sidewards. They're unique to the game, odd to control, vulnerable and can be outfitted to be effective against everything. Aside from that most vehicles are boring by design. Mostly low potential and nothing but armor and blast damage, most don't need a crew to operate at full potential. See PS2 wiki for details. -The problem with this game are the devs who believe it's best to keep the unlock + upgrade cancer system alive instead of trashing it to implement good gameplay mechanics, the devs who also don't care for story or don't get it that a future shooter should have future equipment and not just the topic slapped onto the game and all we get are mainly shields and one faction with pew-pew laser weapons; If the devs don't wake up and at least copy & paste some good stuff off other games PS2 is doomed ! It won't persists as the player farming simulator that it is. Hint: You can't always have mass battles you like to show so much as these are stalemates UNLESS you do it like Dota for examples does it: Auto generates waves of AI units directed towards the enemy main base(s); That'd work without player farming -Planetside 2 uses clientside hit detection which means your PC tells their server when you hit who how, an invitation to aimbot hacking and players lagging like hell being able to shoot you dead long after you're actually already somewhere further away than on their laggy client - this whole thing doesn't promote the ideal of trying to have a good connection at times -the game is poorly optimized, you'll most likely experience less fps than expected
I've played a lot of multiplayer combat games and this is my favorite by far. It's as easy or complicated as you want to make it, the developers have kept it fresh and updated, I can't say enough good things about PlanetSide 2, play and see for yourself.
The best massive multiplayer ego shooter with vehicles on large scale landscapes ever. If you are looking for epic battles with hundreds of player and a strategy atmosphere there is no way around PS2!
Though the game has decent graphics, it primarily **** for the most part, Alot of cheating, Hackers etc.. Overall the game is dismal at best, to much killing and pretty much nothing else... Over all i'd give the game a 1 tops.. Not worth the time. can play other games that are far better... a true waste of time!
Once you go mmofps you can't go back to regular vanilla FPS. The only Pay2Win items you can buy are camo skins which can be a minor advantage if you say buy white camo and on Esamir snow planet it would be harder to spot. But when you've got a red triangle over your head when someone else spots you it really doesn't matter. And vehicle horns can only be bought with money. Mostly camo skins and vehicle horns are used to troll so if you're a free player your trolling opportunities are limited. Everything else is upgraded with XP you earn in game. I haven't spent a penny, and I'm a mediocre player, and I'm BR100.
Game could be called Graveyard of Hopes II. Planetside 2 is a paragon of bad design. Devs just ignore most issues, even game breaking, completely. ZOE MAX insane damage? It took them 6 months to fix it, Striker overpowered, with noclip roctets? Well, let's leave it for months. Awful geodata, you could struck in a mound but still climb like in skyrim on near 90 degree mountains. Text is unreadable and too small? Just ignore it. But devs have a lot of time for selling and shoving decals and various honks and festive decorations for the game. It's a milking machine, with a bunch of devoted players who constantly buy new decals and membership. Game with insanely huge potential ruined by lazy design and inability to balance things out.
A good game ruined by, once again, gamers and kids. Why I say that? Because people run and gun blind into battle with CoD and Battlefield skills, it just doesn't work here. This game would be so much better if gamers focused more on teamwork than worrying about their KD ratio and score. Then you have the idiots that teamkill or around the main spawn area doing nothing but annoy you. When this game first came out, people actually used tactics, teamwork, etc. because the gamers were mature then the kids began to flow in and, well you know the story. So it's unfortunate that it was ruined again by ing idiots - just another one to add to the pile. Nothing against the game or anything, it's great. It plays great, looks great, everything is great about it (aside from the microtransactions on everything.) I recommend the game but expect to be disappointed with your teammates, oh and get constantly get ed by the enemy teams and OP veteran players that can kill you by looking at ya. Have fun.
My first review was unfair because my CPU wasn't powerful enough, and the game wasn't optimized for AMD CPUs when I tried to play. They've had a lot of patches since then, and I've heard it has been optimized for AMD, and it's not single core bound. I don't have a desire to play at this time, but I'll rate it highly because my friends who play enjoy it.
Great game, great graphics, it has good physics and the game seems like a good mix between MMO and FPS unlike many failures that are just click-target. The problem is that DBG (Daybreak Games) the actual administration/developers of this game are totally asses. You may get banned for no reason, you may get banned while trying to purchase something, you may get banned if someone jerks in a similar location as yours. There's no way to ask information or to get a decent evidence show and accurate reasons to prevent account ban. Mods and GMs will only say "we can't do anything about it", and then you get ignored forever. Sometimes you're not going even be able to log in because you are banned before even creating account. Great game gone to garbage because of the worst administration I ever seen,
Well, the controls feel like a greased hog running down a hallway. Grindy yet unrewarding. Terrible people playing with you. Nothing redeemable. Sorry, fanboys.
