Truly a relaxing and cozy time. Oddada is not a music production software so there are limits to what you can do, but that's part of the game as you test out how to push those limits to make 52 second songs with the 6 sound loops you created. It's a very low pressure and experimental type game, almost like a modern Mario Paint with silly little toys to make silly little songs. With a full time job and not much energy to spare, I tend to gravitate to this so as to destress and tinker around. I feel like a lot of “cozy games” out there tend to feel more like extra chores you took upon yourself, so it’s nice to have something that feeds that part of the brain that just wants to turn off and relax. The UI is very tactile as almost everything boops and bops. There's little to no explanation for things which leaves you to just experiment and have fun with the toys presented. As you make more songs, you unlock more tools and toys that help give you more control, expanding what's possible for your 52 second tape. For those who go through with purchasing, I highly recommend joining the Oddada discord if you want to get a real sense of how far you can push the limits of the game. There’s some real talented players who blow my mind with what they can do. The devs are also pretty active and responsive, both passively in the discord and for any problems that you may come across (I accidentally broke my game and within a few days of back and forth, one of the devs fixed the problem all while keeping my stupid little songs safe from corruption). This game may not be for everyone, but if you want a game to play here and there on occasion to relax and fiddle with, I’d say give this one a go. It’s easy to tell a lot of passion was put into its creation.

there have been plenty of music creation toys for things like gameboy, or mobile, but none of them draw me in like this one. the first thing that pops out at you is the super clean and playful aesthetic. the lack of text anywhere just adds to the smooth design. this also forces you to try out everything, in order to learn how to use it (no instructions). the unlocking of a new toy/tool/gizmo (after every song!) keeps you from getting overwhelmed by giving just one new thing to try every song you make. it also encourages you to make more and more and more. the only thing that some people might view as a negative, is that you do lack some control, as far as creating something specific. its more of like, take what you're given and make something out of it. some people might view that as a positive. overall, really cool game.

Buy it 4 ur kids who love play with music children toys other than that don't buy it. -do random sound that it.
