Every Extend Extra
In the gameplay department, Every Extend Extra is perhaps Q's most unique game yet, and we're delighted to report that it's also as frightfully addictive as its handheld brother, "Lumines."

It demands persistence on the part of the player to uncover its inner workings, but when you do start to move in tandem, it's an undeniably exhilaratnig dance. [Oct 2006, p.86]
Both puzzler and shooter, Every Extend Extra’s tag line is 'Music in Your Mind' and thanks to its combination of simple but engrossing mechanics, captivating sound and visuals, and deceptively simple old-school charm, it really is an apt description for the feeling that will bring the player back time and again. Galaga Legions DX is just better. However, I will give it props for being a unique concept.

I can't believe the media gave more score to the Xbox version than to this one wich is absolutely better. They obviously didn't played both games...

The game also has a high level of replayability because everytime you play any of the stages, the shapes and enemies never come out in the same sequence or places. Plus, you can always try to rack up your top score and get a better rank in each of the stages. A must have PSP title with a fun presentation. [JPN Import]

Like "Lumines," however, the ear and eye candy is more than just, well, ear and eye candy, and is completely inseparable from the gameplay. [Issue 145, p.82]

Although simplistic, the graphics are solid and impressive.

Every Extend Extra is undeniably an ingenious game, but not easy to recommend for everyone simply due to being so different and very tough. [Nov 2006, p.107]

The striking visuals and varied soundtrack can't change the fact that every level is essentially the same. [Mar 2007, p.112]

Game Almighty
Ultimately, you can’t help but feel that there’s a fantastic game in Every Extend Extra just begging to be set free, but this current incarnation just wasn’t cooked enough to be worth eating.

Game Revolution
Every Extend Extra, a game that could have filled the PSP’s need for fun and simple arcade action, blows itself up in a miniscule pop of disappointment.
