The "enhanced" visual setting makes the game look worse than the classic view and the dodge move is almost impossible to pull off.

The game is arguably a little too tough, with plenty of ways to lose health but few to top it back up again, and there are a couple of precision do-or-die leaps that act as stark reminders of the game's unforgiving vintage. Those caveats aside, Comix Zone still impresses with its ideas and execution and is a definite highlight of SEGA's retro line-up.

In my childhood, the game seemed to be good, and I ain't sure if it really is, so my score is very subjective.

Such a unique game with an amazing presentation. As a sega genesis lover, you'd be sad to miss this gem, so I recommend you play the game via SEGA Mega Drive and Genesis Classics!
