There is no better chess game out there, and any improvement beyond this is moot.

If you are simply not into chess, this package isn't going to turn you around, but if you want a sage tome that can rest comfortably on your hard drive for years, this is probably it.

A marvelous learning program that challenges players to think, reason, and plan ahead. The program has a terrific options package, solid graphics and sound. This is the program that you will want if you play chess or ever wanted to learn.

Apart from all the game rooms and reference sections of the game, there is also a coach function that will analyze your own games and point out possible improvements or weaknesses.

Due to its incredible content and easy interface, the game is one of the best of its kind on the market for both casual and professional players.

With Chessmaster 8000, Mattel Interactive doesn't necessarily reinvent its classic series, but it further refines what is already the most comprehensive chess title on the market.

Chess can be intimidating for some people, and the makers of Chessmaster 8000 make it easy for everyone to enjoy the game.
