There are so many things that don't make sense about this film and the dialog between characters is underwhelming at times. One too many things about the plot make it too unrealistic and hard connect with. As a Stanley Kubrick fan, this one disappointed.

Darren Aronofsky's worst movie. I really appreciate his other work, but this movie is a jumbled mess that gets outrageously ridiculous.

A24 has produced another well crafted psychological horror. Death, mental illness and religion are explored in a unique story that stays with you. The final scene is haunting.

Overall it is an impressive historical story of the early life of Genghis Khan. The acting and cinematography is well done. It has some slower moments but the story as a whole makes up for it.

Even with all the action and cgi, I struggled to make it through this one. I thought the plot was boring and lazily written with a lot of cringe moments. Marvel is going downhill.
