OK I get it. Even in the cinema I was surprised by this one. I LOVE IT. But I could see easily how this would fail to impress others. Probably the last great Star Trek .. anything .. in my mind.

It had it moments. Generally entertaining and considered an important installment to TOS. Nothing bad here, and the next one was a knock-out.

Its not perfect but it is. I REMEMBER WHEN THIS WAS RELEASED IN CINEMA AND PEOPLE COULD NOT FORGET IT. Funny. Cool. Awesome for it's time. A masterpiece.

Benedict Cumberbatch worst role ever. Not his fault, underwhelming script just pure Paramount corp garbage.

Love it love it love it .Arthur C Clarke meets the Original Star Trek. Probably the definitive Star Trek movie of all time.

Unbelievable mystery as to who wrote this garbage, who reviewed it and who approved it. Beginning of the end for Star Trek.

Old school Star Trek said thank you to its original fan base. Later luddites won't get it but that wasn't the point.
