The actors who played their roles are Marilyn Monroe, Tony Curtis, and Jack Lemmon among others. The jazz saxophone player and the jazz double bass player, whose names are Joe and Jerry, trying to escape from some gangsters. They dress as women and with an all-female band go to Florida by train. “Some like it hot” won three Golden Globe Awards: Best Actor in a Motion Picture for Jack Lemmon, Best Actress in a Motion Picture for Marilyn Monroe and Best Motion Picture. This movie earned about $1 million, whereas its budget was €650,000. ‘Tangerines’ is a deeply meaningful and powerful movie about people and their lives in Abkhazia during the conflict between Georgia and Abkhazia in 1992–1993. The actors are highly convincing. The movie provokes strong feelings. It tells us about the value of a human being. ‘Tangerines’ was a critically acclaimed movie. 'Once Upon a Time... in Hollywood' is a comedy-drama on which Quentin Tarantino worked as a film director and as a scriptwriter. The movie was released in 2019 and was well-received by critics. The movie starred Brad Pitt, Leonardo DiCaprio and Margot Robbie. In my point of view, this movie needs to be watched at least because it mirrors the particular period of American history. It guides the audiences through the atmosphere of 1969. This movie raises acute questions that worry and cause a stir the minds of people nowadays too. Great acting and wonderful script unconditionally attract attention to this picture. 'Sabrina' is a romantic "dramedy" that incorporates elements of drama and comedy. It was directed by Billy Wilder in 1954. The script for this movie based on Samuel A. Taylor's romantic comedy "Sabrina Fair", which was published in 1953. The main cast consists of Humphrey Bogart, Audrey Hepburn and William Holden. Sabrina falls in love with one of the two sons from the Larrabee family. Sabrina's father is a chauffeur who has worked for this rich family for many years. He sends his daughter to Paris where she would learn how to cook. Paris changes Sabrina and her attitude to life. She later returns... The lyrics for the soundtrack "La Vie en Rose", which was sung by Audrey Hepburn in the movie, was written by Edith Piaf. For this movie, a talented costume designer, Edith Head, won an Academy Award for Best Costume Design. 'The Breakfast Club' is a 1985 teen dramedy. John Hughes is not only a director of this movie but also a scriptwriter. John Hughes later started to be even more popular because of such of his pictures as: "Home Alone" (1990), "Curly Sue" (1991), "Beethoven" (1992) and other movies that became cult hits. Emilio Estevez, Paul Gleason, Anthony Michael Hall, Judd Nelson, Molly Ringwald and Ally Sheedy played six main roles. This movie earned $51.5 million, whereas its budget was $1 million. When five high school students once stayed at school on Saturday morning as a school punishment, they didn't realize that they would get closer to each other by speaking about their lives. This is an emotional movie about teenagers' lives with addictive plot twists. The life stories of the main characters open up to moviegoers gradually, provoking strong feelings. The movie raises and discloses many social topics. Teenagers deal with these topics and many others that have an impact on their lives and they cope with problems in their own ways. 'Pearl Harbor' is a wartime drama that was directed by Michael Bay and released in 2001. The scriptwriter who worked on this movie is Randall Wallace. Before this movie, he wrote for such projects as "Braveheart" (1995) and "The Man in the Iron Mask" (1998). The soundtrack was created by unsurpassed master Hans Zimmer, who also wrote music for "Pirates of the Caribbean", "The Prince of Egypt", "The Dark Knight", etc. The stars that played the main characters were Ben Affleck, Kate Beckinsale and Josh Hartnett. In 2003, Kate went on to star in "Underworld" and in 2004 she took on a leading role in "Van Helsing". On 7th December 1941, Japan launched a surprise attack on Pearl Harbor, where the US Pacific Fleet was situated, leaving the US deeply shocked. It is a movie about war, love, courage and honour. The trailer, which I have personally seen more times than I had expected, really made me, and I hope you, want to watch this movie. The movie length is 3 hours 3 minutes and to my mind, this is just right. You can watch it the whole thing in one go. Moviegoers won't be able to look away from the screen because of the stunning visuals and deep emotions that they'll no doubt feel. Both the main and minor characters are highly convincing and during the whole movie, they effectively engage with each other and what is more, with every member of the audience. This romantic drama is based on the well-known novel, 'The Great Gatsby', which was written by F. S. Fitzgerald in 1925. It is the most vivid representation of the Jazz Age novels. The production of the movie started in 2011 and it was shown on screen in 2013. It is set in 1922 on Long Island and was directed by Baz Luhrmann. Some of his famous works include Moulin Rouge! (2001), Romeo + Juliet (1996) and Australia (2008). Jay Gatsby, played by the brilliant Leonardo DiCaprio, is the best possible fit for this role. Tobey Maguire, who is known for his role in Spider-Man (2002), plays Nick Carraway. Carey Mulligan and Joel Edgerton were cast to play Daisy and Tom Buchanan. Nick Carraway tells the story of his mysterious neighbor, Mr. Gatsby, who throws parties, but has never attended any of them. That will soon change. This is a very beautiful and refined movie, executed in exquisite taste. The beauty of the visuals defies the imagination. The soundtrack, "Young and Beautiful" written by Lana Del Rey and Rick Nowels in 2012, is indeed a bright and notable example of musical art.
