Pokemon Violet should be a 8/9 out of 10 game however it is severely held back by a lack of decent graphics for a game made in 2022 however the open world mechanic and game as a whole is good. There is enough storyline to be entertaining and even after completing the game there are still things to do however the poor performance really limits what I can rate it.

Pokemon Sword at first seems similar to the other mainline games, most of which are iconic however Sword has too many interactions with your rival (Hop) and not enough story to make it as good as the other Pokemon games.

The Splatoon2 storyline is already good, with an interesting lore however the Octo Expansion goes beyond that, adding depth to an already good game. If it was part of the base game the expansion itself would get a 9 however having to pay on top of the base game limits it, as I don't believe the price tag is fully justified however it is definitely still worth it if you have enjoyed the base game.

Absolutely one of the best Nintendo games for the switch, and has a good storyline (singleplayer mode) and good online play. The variety of weapons and maps allow for good replayability. Only complaint is that a Switch Online subscription is required for online play.
