20 hrs in and love every second. Community fixes remove all major slowdown. Balls deep in the game and who cares about reduced frames? Cry babies...

White person village this time around... nobody cries. An actual story with the mindless combat this time around woot! Graphics... same as re7... Decent ride I am not sure in this day and age you should charge full price for 10 hours of content even if it is decent but this is a RE fanboy (Me) 9/10 Everyone else 7/10. Worth a play for everyone at half the price, a must have for RE fans.

I can't go ahead and say graphics are top notch or they are improved from RE7 because they really are not. Well on the PC anyway. it's more of the same and it is topish end quality still to date. Returns to the much dreaded combat first style of the franchise with a twist... There is a great story and some underlying interesting mystery happening at the same time as the mindless combat. I mean if I wasn't a RE fan boy this is a 7/10 at best but there is some really great RE content here. Nobody will cry because targets this time around are from what seems like a white people "village". Plenty of content, decently deep into RE universe. A welcome addition.

50 hours in and loving every moment of it. 3700x/5700xt and a cheapo SSD and the only bugs of note were quest completion dialogue missing (simply reload save file) and crowd animations not starting on time. Those small non game breaking things are way overtaken by the amount of enjoyable content. I would buy this game at full price for the RPG experience even if there was no main story quest line and just a world with npcs to do random tasks for. By far the best RPG experience I can remember since neverwinter nights and i've done em all over the last 20 years.

Just couldn't get into it. Seemed like there was a lack of something to care about it this game. I loved Prison Architect because I was actually feeling like I was caring for or torturing something. This game was just boring for me and with 0 effort put into graphics it could not possibly be a 10.

Played AC 1/2 and lost interest in the series. Tries a couple times to come back and just didn't like the gameplay anymore. AC: VAL maybe should have just taken on it's own title but the tie in to the AC series adds a little bit to an amazing game. It's been a long time since I could enjoy sinking my teeth into 100+ single player and still want more.
