Great game. It perfectly captures the Shadowrun vibe while offering great tactical depth. The contact system and the characters’ (faction) backstories uniquely bring the universe to life. The combat is spot-on and adapts perfectly to your skills.

A perfect sequel. Like Aliens after Alien. A good sequel is simply not a rehash, just prettier, more colorful and technically better! A good sequel creates something new, expands the basic idea and surprises.Frostpunk2 did all that. I thank the developers for their courage and their ideas. The first part was a fantastic experience because it made the community's struggle for survival so transparent, touched me emotionally like hardly any other game and confronted me with moral decisions. And the 2nd part takes strengths from the first part, but sets a new focus! Expanding the scale and adding a political part was a brilliant idea! It takes the dilemmas that were part of the fascination of the first part to a new level. Even in the first part, the question was always: what do I sacrifice for survival? In the second part, it is elaborated even more: The question is: how does our society want to live, but also and above all how do I keep a society together! Few games have reached this depth for me! It's also a very good building game and I like the graphics and sound/music very **** me, it's the best game of the year so far!

A good mix of “X-Com Chimera Squad” and the brilliant “Into the breach”. The former borrows from the setting, the latter from the game: Predictability of the opponent's moves and wacky actions. Unused setting, good humor, tactical turn-based strategy on small levels where you can puzzle and avoid mistakes with a useful “rewind” function. Nice idea between missions: You create a map with links between events, people and places. Not relevant to the game, you can't do anything wrong, but I like it for further immersion in the story and as a gimmick. All in all an absolutely lovingly designed product, big praise to the developers!

This ist my first review on metacritic, because i hate the really unfair reviews of many users which gave the game zero points! I played the first resident evil and i really loved it. It was one of the games which invented something new (okay : i know it was "alone in the dark "... but for me and millions other gamer it was resident evil!). Within the years the franchise got older and boring.... The last episode was a kick in the ass for the former great gaming series. An action game like many others on the market. But this game ist great. This game is the next "new thing"! VR is a great opportunity. I really enjoy VR and this game is the best example to show how good it works!
