Oh my god. I'm thinking maybe I shouldn't have watched this movie. Although it was slow starting and left me wondering what was going on at times, it was interesting enough to keep me hanging in there. Just as it got crazy and I considered turning it off - it turned into a complete nightmare. The whole time I just wanted the brother to grow some balls and leave that house. Because I don't want to spoil it for you, I'll stop here. If you want to be creeped out and stuck with some lasting scary ass images in your psyche, watch it but please. Just don't do so with people under 18.

All I can say is "what the hell is going on in movie world?" I can't begin to explain how bad this movie was. It sure was nothing as creative and interesting as Get Out. I guess once you get a hit you can put out **** and fill up the theatre on reputation. I grew up to classics like Invasion of the Body Snatchers & The Fly.. in 2019 you can't give me a movie that starts off with rabits and I have no idea what's going on and expect me to just take it. I mean because you put 2 of the best female actresses together (Handmaids's Tale) and (12 Years A Slave) with a horrible script doesn;t make it okay. I am baffled at these 10's and 8's and also fully convinced that movie critics cannot be trusted. Their ratings are not genuine. This film was crap with great actresses. The little boy and both husbands were so bad I wanted to kill myself in the theatre. I've never been so frustrated through an entire film. Ugh... Never again.

Sometimes I think the people in the top places for rating films are working a separate agenda. I've seen awful movies get 9 stars and ones like The Village get 2. Really? US was the worst movie I've seen in years and just because it's Jordan Peele, an awful incohesive ridiculous movie is getting rave reviews.. THE VILLAGE however, is story telling at its finest. The imagery, scene setting, storyline and acting are all A+. I wish I invented such an incredible story to tell at family night. It was spooky, interesting, and kept me on the edge of my seat as the plot changed lanes, broke hearts, thickened, and revealed an incredible love story. I give this movie a 10 because this kind of creativity is a rare commodity. It seems if a film is not about racism or senseless violence it gets no love. What a shame that so many of us are addicted to a sort of repetitive culture in arts and entertainment. I recommended this film to all who appreciates an out of the box story. There are so many lessons inside.. and let's not pretend we've never wished for something similar. Most people don't have the balls to pack up and move off of the grid... this was such an inspiration to watch. I wanted more! Lucious. I would go as far to say that this is one of Night's best films.
