Floppy Knights is a very charming card battler. I just love the art style, the characters and the design. It is a bit slow when you have to wait for your enemys turn, but the gameplay is very satisfying. Although I can understand why the devs patched out the broken infinite combos, I am still sad that they are gone. Now, after the 2.0 update, it really is jam-packed with content. The challenges and side quests are a great addition, with the slime or robot cards. It has a great balance, with a normal campaign and hard side missions. The different decks also offer fairly different playstyles.

Ancient Enemy is a nice little card battler. Most reviews here criticize the story, but I see the monologues of the main character more as the setting. The brooding tone, the enemy design and the epic music, set a fantastic, dark atmosphere. The card battling itself is fun, and more on the easy side. Trust me, play it on Nightmare Mode, that is the actual normal mode, do not let the name discourage you. Your active abilities, the wild cards and the ability to see the cards underneath the top enable you to add strategy to Solitaire, which is originally very luck-based. My only gripe is that the gameplay is not the most fitting to the atmosphere. I like both the gameplay (and I do not think it should be harder), but as it is so easy, it betrays the hopeless and dark tone of the game. However, this is barely relevant compared to the joy of hitting a 25 card combo and obliterating your foes with it.
