I got this one because I love the Dishonored series. It took a while, though, for me to get into its groove, at first losing all your gear is quite frustrating, but after 5-6 hours, the game hooked me like few do. Gathering information (and residium) so that you can come up with a master plan to break the loop was so satisfying, even doing the same things twice or thrice or four times or more didn't bother me, nor the fact that there are "only" 4 locations to explore. And besides all the mechanics working amazingly well, the game has a small but accurately measured tinge of humor, Colt screaming after stepping on a mine will always remain with me. I was inclined to give it a 9 because few games really deserve a 10, but I cannot find one thing to complain about, so 10 it gets.

The game is great... until you reach Room 46. After that, the puzzles are quite hard to decipher, and the gameplay is quite repetitive, and you still have to count on luck for drafting the rooms you need to progress. I was willing to continue playing if the clues were more straightforward, but after being stuck for a few days and checking some hints online, I guess I have already gotten the best the game has to offer. It is a pity, because the backstory was really interesting, there should be some great revelation when reaching Room 46 but... THAT didn't hook me for some more 30 hours playing.

The screenshots of this game pay no justice to how fun it is. Amazing homage to the first Resident Evil, a perfect balance of history, horror, mystery and puzzle. Just the aiming controls could be better. Otherwise, great gem!

I didn't even finish it yet but Ragnork is barely perfect, and that coming from someone who would give the first game an 8. It is unbelievable how they make Kratos interact with a talking squirrel without that looking foolish. Every hour in the gameplay blows my mind with innovative stuff. Wow. Wow. WOW. Ragnarok might knock RDR2 from my pole. Amazing!
