Kelly Reilly and Cole Hauser are magnetic as Beth and Rip. Their chemistry feels even richer now..still intense, but with a deeper, more lived-in warmth that’s impossible to take your eyes off of. They anchor this show perfectly. The supporting cast is outstanding too. Annette Bening and Ed Harris bring serious presence and instantly elevate the new Texas setting. The story is engaging right from the start, full of fresh conflict and unexpected turns, while the sweeping Texas landscapes are absolutely gorgeous.
