Boring characters and too many holes in story. Everything else was just confusing, like the wrist thing. Not enough puzzles and existing ones were too easy and stupid. Too confusing and immersion was not there, not worth money and your time.

Wolfenstein: The New Order

I pre-ordered this game. Is is worth 60 euros? Is 40gb of files worth of download? Answer is: maybe, but mostly no. And if you bought retail dvd version, You have to still download 10gb update. As much I wanted to enjoy this game, I couldn't. The Wolfenstein games I know used to be fun run'n'gun fps shooters. This game is far from good FPS in general and its even useless to compare it to RTCW. Many people hated Wolfenstein (2009), but I actually liked that one. Now you cant upgrade anything with big pile of gold anymore and open hub areas are gone. Story is bland and game has serious problem whether to be serious or not. Sometimes Blaskowicz speaks bravely about America but in next moment paintings drop from wall because he's screwing his girl so hard. Sidekicks are lame and feel forced. Black guy having rhythm in his veins and big physically strong but mentally disabled guy who like girl toys etc. Are this type of characters _the must_ thing in a **** shooter FPS? Where is the martial arts master Chinese ninja guy and others? Gameplay is somewhat good. Assault rifle actually feel like it has some pumping power. You can lean, lie down and slide on floor, but its pain in the ass to perform those key combos in tight battles. I didn't find much use for them. Reloading and switching between weapons takes ages and you die needlessly often due to that. Oh, You can reload faster when you unlock Perks, but only after you performed 10 backflips in a row while shooting ten dogs with one hand gun and finally landing on spagat. Perks are unlockable abilities. You unlock them by killing enemies in different ways. Often the way to unlock them is too hard, because invariably all fights are so chaotic that it's impossible to think of anything else than finding ammo, health packs and cover. I find myself eventually just ignoring those perks. Save/load feature is also gone. Checkpoint are mostly quite rare and you end up having same fights again, and they got just longer and longer as you go in game. What might dev's been thinking of when decided that... Levels are quite tube-like, but sometimes you get barely a slight breeze of open areas, just barely. There are secrets things hided in places, but I couldn't find many of them in first playthrough. Oh and I got new checkpoint and I'm unable to go back finding them. Should I restart level or just go on? I rather go on. This game does no make me feel to explore places to find collectible or even play it ever again. It feels so clunky in many way. Malfunctioned (buggy) robot stuck in place, ladder become usable after killing hordes of enemies etc stupid things and AI just plays stupid. And Blaskowicz is tied on chair and **** commander stabs him with knife; Blaskowicz's health goes visibly down to 0, but raises to 20 in a brief moment. Quite cool. Im trying to be tolerated, but it is really annoying when level are straightforward and there seems to be a lot o places where to go or hide, but you can't. I'm talking about bridge mission. It really did broke camel's back for me. "Stupid way to die" says he when I'm trying to jump on ledge where anyone else vg protagonist could jump in (in real life), but our William now just can't because of invisible mesh colliders. If you've played original Painkiller or Quake, you know what I mean by jumping all over places where's the skys only limit ((or water, heh). Conclusion: It's not worst FPS by any mean and is worth picking for like 5-10 euros, but there are so many annoying dev's decisions which I mentioned, that I'm wordless.

Great game and I like this inventory system they used in some of their games. This was the first point & click game that I was able play through with out guide. That being said, this is a very short game, which is unfortunate. You can make it play longer, if you try to collect bonus points to unlock concept art. Overall this game was a little bit of an disappointment due to its shortness. I'm still thinking, what those useless items in my inventory were for. And I swear that I tried right items in right spots many times, but for a time and position of stars etc being wrong, them didn't apply. And I know that there were some items I was looking for for a long time, but never found... (Maybe I should play this again and think of puzzles different way?) Other than that, there is not much bad things to say about - graphics are good, audio not too cheesy and atmosphere is there.

Voyage: Inspired by Jules Verne

Point & click game based on Jules Verne story. I haven't read the book, but I've heard, that this game doesn't go too strictly with it. Story itself is pretty self-explanatory. Actually it was hard to get feeling of being in moon, but that didn't bother me. This game has very nice graphics, but not the best according to modelling. Alien models are quite cheesy, but funny in a good way! Immersion is great. If you put key in a slot and move at other camera position, the key will appear in that view too and contrariwise. I loved the music too, it puts you in right mood. You can also do several puzzles in order you want and them are actually quite easy. You can get stuck easily too, but this is not the hardest puzzle-oriented point and click game, that I've played. Very good point and click game with intuitive puzzles and great atmosphere and voice acting.

I don't know why its norm today to remove save feature from game. I quit playing in the middle of Prologue and the surprise was "nice" when I came back to play and realized, that I have to start game from the beginning again. Options are lacking. You have to grab objects in this game, you grab them in front of your nose so that they take almost half of the screen and some of them are shining so bright that you can't see anything. Some of the levels are all foggy and it's complete trial and error to navigate through. Maybe the point there was no imitate human mind or something. "Simplicity" of game mechanics did make this game only more complicated and annoying. Game looks great and atmosphere is there, but I can't recommend this game for people who are just wanting to waste their time in some puzzles. This game does not have much innovating things and it's just like Dear Esther with a trial and error + puzzles

At first, it start as a casual fps, but further you go, worse it will go. Enemies see your movements through walls and sometimes they will start even shooting at you before you are at drawing distance. Later part of the game will really ruin your day, but the difficulty level was pretty normal for it's time. But if you are used to play modern fps, don't expect fun and easy moments, but quick loading and saving every other second. There is some other annoying things: jump is useless, it will make player much slower at game doesn't even exploit it much. Second is that you can't switch your weapon during reloading and this will make you very vulnerable. Other than that, this game delivers variety much and ambience is awesome. Especially winter missions and those dogs barking...

Short and mediocre. This game is full of dull stuff: nonsense prototype weapons and collectable E99 "money", slow-motion flying bullets, time-shifting, ugly russian accent (for reason, but still, meh), bland graphic style. There is also this one "funny" part in cutscene, where texts in newspaper are something like "ashjd lklk kjjkj lljk ff ff f ff". Laziness in designing game at it's best. Game itself is playable, but it is just so empty, that there is really not much to say. No epic boss battles, memorable characters or anything. Just modern fps with different layout, and very lame.

Only 69/100 from officials? This is highly underrated pc game. Very weird and unique stuff. Story is very good and end of the game is quite epic. Visual effects are cool and well used. Bad things are the usual, monotonous fights and no secrets at all; lack of extras in gameplay. But as said, this is very weird and unique game, in a good way.

Dear Esther 2 aka Amnesia: A Machine for Pigs. What an waste of potential. If this would be made same way as the original, but with its own layout, it would be a big hit. Unfortunately thechineseroom have no visions of pleasing loyal fans of original Amnesia and Penumbras. It seems that they didn't even want to make spiritual successor to original one. Frictional Games has put itself in place similar to as when down syndrome child gives you painting, you are just not allowed to say, that it's piece of This game should not have anything to do with Amnesia brand. One point for partially improved visuals.

Fun to play, gets old quickly. You think that this game has split in different themes, but no. It is always the same and it gets boring really quick. Enemies are all the same and boss fights are not anything special, cool them are, I give you that. If you are looking for oldschool hardcore fps, pick up serious sam or Painkiller. This is just monotonous boring fps.

Eleusis aka Backtracking The Game. At first it looks very awesome and atmospheric game, atmospheric it is indeed. Then you find out that you have no idea what you're supposed to do. You have to jump around like an idiot and hope that you have found every item. If not, go jumping back. Compared to Amnesia, this game is not very player friendly. I lost my interest to it completely when I noticed, that you can't save the game. You have to play same parts again and again or you must have balls to solve puzzles and get new checkpoint. In addition when you get stuck in every tree and slope, it will ruin your day easily.

S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Clear Sky

I played stalker in following order: SoC, CoP and unfortunately I'm stuck at Clear Sky. Not that that I wouldn't like to play it, but I cant. It is impossible to proceed due to fatal bug. Game crashes and crashes. I managed to play over 8 hours of it, but then the bug appeared and it is impossible to go any further. Isn't it fun when you cant play game all the way through? CS is very annoying at the beginning of it. You make one mistake and you will die very easily (radiation and renegades). You will have to quick save like every 10 seconds. Later part when you get better gear, it becomes actually quite satisfying to play. I don't still really understand the stamina-meter. When games becomes too near reality, it is just stupid. Running for 20 sec and standing still to wait other 20 sec to get your stamina back is some very fantastic bulls***. Especially in game where you have to get money by looting all around in quite big maps. There is also this one part where Bandits rob you, and you will never get your money back. Clear Sky could have been great game if it didn't suffered from large amount of bugs and other things that will annoy player. It has nice reformations: you can join to factions and upgrade your weapons etc. 6 points is still best I can give to it as it is with recent patches.
