Simply stunning. Maybe the best movie of the year. If you like dramas, you will be missing out if you do not see Marriage Story!

Woodshock0
Nov 6, 2019
There is only one word that can describe Woodshock: Irredeemable. This movie is atrocious. What happened, A24?

Pretty terrible. There is no way around it! I could not even finish the movie without falling asleep from boredom.

The Cosmonaut Variety Hour introduced me to this movie. It is an utter mess, but an entertaining mess.

Pink Floyd: The Wall10
Sep 30, 2019
I'll be honest, I was convinced to watch The Wall after watching the Nostalgia Critic's "review" on YouTube. I am so glad that I did. The Nostalgia Critic's review is utter problematic garbage, and this movie is so inspiring and haunting and is a real masterpiece.

The Grapes of Wrath10
Sep 11, 2019
This is a masterpiece of historical storytelling. I grew up watching this movie, and it is one of those timeless dramas you can watch again and again.

Once Upon a Time ... in Hollywood10
Jul 29, 2019
One of Tarantino's best. This is a masterpiece of film from a master filmmaker. Great performances. Gripping scenes. A deep, thought-provoking story, and a hugely satisfying ending make this movie one I can't wait to see a second time!

Velvet Buzzsaw8
Feb 3, 2019
A goodly film starring the ever effervescent Jake Gyllenhall. This is a very tense movie that reminded me a lot of Hereditary in terms of how it presents its horror. It's a good discussion about art too!

Yowza, was this movie rubbish. I feel sorry for Dan Fogelman. Was he drunk when he did this? I hated the narration. Totally took me out of the movie. It was like watching a ten car pileup.

Sugar Mountain3
Jan 1, 2019
Boring, forgettable, shoddily acted, and lazy are just some of the words I would use to describe Sugar Mountain. Too many twists and unlikable characters for my liking. Jason Momoa was cool though.

At Eternity's Gate1

Apart from Willem Da Foe, this movie was one that I found unbearable. I fell asleep twice in the theater. I much preferred Loving Vincent, and I would recommend that movie instead if you really like Van Gogh.

A color by numbers action movies. Some of the scenes showcasing Louisiana and the environment are pretty cool and remnisicient of True Detective Season 1.

Gone Girl10
Nov 6, 2018
One of my friends shows this movie to all of the girls he is dating on the first date. He says if they cannot handle the intensity of this film, then he will not bother pursuing a relationship further. While my love for Gone Girl may not be that intense, I can easily say that this is one of the best movies that has come out in the last 10 years.

Nocturnal Animals0
Nov 6, 2018
This movie tries to be artsy, but has nothing to say. Watching this movie is a waste of time. There are so many better thrillers that deal with relationships between men and women that have so much more to say.

Star Wars: Episode VIII - The Last Jedi10

One of the best Star Wars movies ever made. Period. If you grew up with the original trilogy on VHS, then this is the film for you. It lived up to and surpassed the hype.

I nearly fell asleep. How could they do this to Freddie? Its so by the books and lazy! Where is the celebration of Queen and Freddie's music? Bryan Singer needs to get his act together!

A Master Piece. Utterly Brilliant. I am team Joaquin Phoenix and Team Casey Affleck all the way. Truly a film that will stand the test of time. I cannot wait to see what future generations think of this one.

Zero Dark Thirty0
Oct 24, 2018
This movie is honestly the US's revenge porn against muslims for 9/11. Really awful, heavy-handed, and above all, boring. Do not waste your time with this one.

The Sessions10
Oct 24, 2018
Oh man, underrated to the extreme. One of the best indie movies ever made, and maybe John Hawke's best performance. Helen Hunt is incredible. William H. Macy even holds his own. Beautiful story not to be missed!

The greatest of all time, Tupac Shakur, deserved better than this horrible treatment from the inept huckster Benny Boom. It looks like Mr. Benny Boom hasn't done any other movies, so humanity has that going for it, at least.
