The game is great but it is not the best Doom. First, it's frantic, the graphics are awesome, the scenarios are awesome, the soundtrack is awesome. There is a lot of lore and stuff. However, it is also a 3d platform game (some people are calling DOOMARIO), an fps that it is also a platform game. What could possibly go wrong? Simple: The control is horrible for some moves. This game is aimed to be played with a joypad, but it is also a fps (so you want to play with a keyboard and mouse), so it is nonsense. For example, to jump and press the shift key to speed, it is really awkward without a joypad. Moves that you could do with Doom: - Jump - Double Jump (yes, I am not kidding) - Wall grab - Sprint - Double Spring - And all the combinations. At least we are free of wall-jump but it was lava (like Mario 64) and if you fall into it, then it acts exactly like Mario. I really enjoyed Jedi Fallen Orden as a platform-action game but it is not an fps game, while Doom is a FPS game. Also, this game forces you to run out of ammo every time, your main gun has only around 18 bullets max! and you need 1-2 bullets per enemy. You could get more ammo with the chaingun but sheesh, you must do it regularly. If you are a trigger-happy game then this game is not for you. I enjoy more watching on youtube than playing it.

I don't get the downvotes. This game has variety, something that fallout fails. It has a lot of side missions and your companions feel more real than Fallout. Think about Mass Effect + Fallout. The aesthetic feels a mix between steampunk and future and I like too. Companions = Nice. Music = Fine but nothing special. Weapons and items = Its extend and it is fine too. History = Surprisingly, it is something new. The concept of Corporationalism is funny. I don't feel the SJW (a religion that I don't follow) is involved in this game. Length = I don't think it's long than Fallout but it's long than Mass Effect. FPS = It's so-so (as Fallout and Mass Effect). If you want an FPS, then pick Call of Duty. However, this game is mainly an RTS, not a shooter. People compare with Fallout. Fallout is great (except the latest one). However, a wasteland is dull and repetitive. Fallout has some surprise, but a few ones. This game has variety, not so much but it is considerable than Fallout. With Kingdom Hearts 3, this game It is easily the best RPG of 2019. If you want to compare with Fallout Las Vegas the no, this game is not better but this game is still a solid 9 out of 10.

This game is fine, but it has a fatal flaw. It has no variety, and the replay value is really low. It is a big flaw considering that this game is aimed to play it again and again. Sorry, but it is not happening. This game is based in a minimalist strategy game, where you play over and over until you die, and you must start from scratch. And, since the game is quite repetitive (i counted around five types of enemies), then it's hard to try to play it again. The game, as a strategy game, is fine, and the graphics are acceptable (for a minimalist game), but it lacks story, variety and any achievement. Even the "loots" are meh. I died for the third time and I think I get it enough. I give a 5/10 only because it's an indie game.

Star Control: Origins

As a fan of Star Control. Minus: 1) Most old aliens are gone. Plus: 2) Now, it is easy to track the conversation. Star Control has lots of conversation and you must pay attention to it, so if you miss something important, then you are screwed. Now. it has a log. And there is more, if you click on the log, then it points you to where you must go, so if you miss something important then you could read it later. 3) The new graphics. 4) It is not a remake but a new version. The story is surprisingly better than the old games. - It's epic. - It has lore. However, the old lore is gone. - It has twists. 5) The landers minigame is better., way better. In the previous games, the lander minigame was frustrating at best. 6) Some comments say that the galaxy is boring. How is it boring?. This game is about aliens and exploration, and the galaxy is filled with surprises: - new aliens, some are part of the story and others have their own side-story. - minerals, ok, this adds a bit of frustration, Francium mainly. - you can find some ships, weapons, building, some aliens that think that you are a deity and so much more. - There are several kinds of planets and more. I think there are about 8-10 times x diversity x size x harshness, so the combinations of different planets are huge. 7) The music is cool too. Some tunes remind me of Captain Future. 8) The game is hard. 9) The aliens have a backstory and they have their own reason, they are not just unidimensional characters. 10) It has comedy. Star Control (including this version), isn't a perfect game. However, this version is the best one.

So now, in perspective: Its not a real game, there is not a real interaction, so its close to a walking simulation. And there are a lot of stunning walking simulation in the market. This is not one of them. The 2d art is fine, but its not great. In fact, its fine for a flash game. In comparison with The Vanishing of Ethan Carter (another walking simulator), this game is really meh. The music is ok. And the story, if you are a teen and you don't get it, then may be this game is for you. My father was hippies (real hippies, not those wannabes) but they never tried to brainwashed me like the current SJW. This game is plain SJW propaganda and its cheap. Its even directly anti capitalist and its curious, an anti-capitalist game that you could buy using the credit card of your parents. Evil parents and evil credit card company but everything else is OK.. right?. I don't get the current SJW movement and im glad that i don't understand it, thank you very much. And about the game, is... lineal, it has some exploring features and mini games but in general is boring. 2 points: its not really a game, the graphics are meh, the history is meh and only gets 2 points because the music. Everything else is meh. I would give 6-8 points for a free game but its not for free, so nah!.

Bomber Crew

Its one of those games that aren't for everybody. First, it requires multi tasking and its not the same than to click faster than other games. You are controlling a crew of 7 people. Second, YOU WILL KILL YOUR CREW many times, its CRUEL (specially considering that your crew is really cute) but its the war. However, you can enroll a new crew for free and again and again. Later, you could learn to survive your crew, earning money and obtaining more intel, then building a new plane and arming your crew. Also, your crew could learn some tricks. Even for the difficulty, the game is quite simple. I am seasoned with flight simulators. Its not a flight simulator so learning is quite easy. Later, you should learn some tricks such as the altitude, tracking new routes and so on. My main complain is repetitive but other that, is the DARK SOUL of the bomber games. I repeat, its not for everybody. If you aren't good for multitasking, then its not your game. Each missions lasts a 5-10 minutes but you will feel that it lasted an hour, its really stressful. btw, the latest update 28 october added new features and keys.

IMHO +10 for a Sonic game. My last game that i played for Sony was Sonic for Dreamcast way years ago. Even for a +3 year old game, this game dates really well, the graphics are stunning, the playability is impressible and its not monotone. And its a proper SONIC GAME (a platform game where you goal is to beat it the quicker way possible while collecting stuff, with lots of rebound, lanes and secrets. ***If you don't like Sonic game then may be this game is not for you***, specially for people that feel that this game "play by himself". Also, Sonic games aren't games that you want to beat, they are games that you want to master, playing over and over, breaking your records and finding new routes. Good graphics, good characters, silly jokes, awesome soundtrack, awesome scenarios, this games is perfect -FOR-A-SONIC-GAME. I had some troubles with Windows 8.1 + i7 + amd video card (notebook) (version 1.0 of the game), running as an administrator does the trick.

I only own a laptop since practically i am never at home. I tried to play it and the speed is a joke (about 10-20fps). So, i tried to apply the classic old tricks : reduce resolution = no luck, reduce sound = no luck, reduce quality = no luck. Of course, without counting the bugs here and there. And the sad part, it's not the first game (from the 2014) that acts in the same way to me. However, i am been able to play (pre-2014) games without any problem and most in full hd. So, why i am giving a 5?. Because im clueless if the game is good or bad, right now, the game is unplayable, at least for LAPTOP. I don't want to charge and point against any business without evidence but, sheesh, its smells that it's done on purpose! (aka PARITY).

What is right: -Nice graphics. -Able to create games. -Terrain modeling is quite stunning. What is bad -The UI (for design a game) is pretty but dysfunctional. -The game lags even on a i7. -The "free" asserts are horrible and limited. -Even when it allows to assigns ai, add asserts and model the terrain, this program (as a editing tool) feels really limited. This limits joined with the limited of the free asserts are simply spoiling the whole creation experience. What is awful -Micro-transactions, even the beta has micro-transactions. -The game is pay per time. I give a 5 only because i have faith in the common sense of Microsoft Studio.

This game is a mess. Basic storyline (only sparse text at some corner of the screen, no picture, audio or video), only 4 perks at the same time (that could be maxed out without even fight a single battle), basic tech tree (again, could be maxed out easily), most units and building are useless (specially walls), warning messages are hit-or-miss (no logs), this game is fast (a round could lasts minutes) so we should forget about strategy and more to build fast and powerful units. Also, the game is highly unbalanced.

This game lags horrendously. First, this game takes +1 minute to load (i own a i7 + ssd disk + amd), then the menu lags considerably (yes, the menu). Lowering the quality to the lowest does not help. Then i start the game and it moves about 5-15fps that is unbearable and i am not even played 5 minutes of the games. The first patch does not help. For me, this game is an ads in disguise that says "buy the xbox instead". :-(

If you want to feel the nostalgia of nes games then, this game is for you. However, you can play nes games right now, via emulation, compilation and such (even legally and for free). So, for a real fans of old games, this game is more of the same, it is not a bad game but it does not shine or add a new value.

The gameplay in a nut-shell: -The stage starts, there are some introduction but nothing so special. -Move to the first stage. -Kill some or all enemies, and yes, it is one of those games that sometimes you are deadlock until you kill all enemies (such Painkiller). -Move to the next stage, rinse and repeat.

Hi there, i really wished for this game for pc, im so into Double fine games and i like hard rock, however, it is a mixed bag: What's good: -Nice Graphics. -Nice Characters. -Nice Bandwidth. -Creative opening. -Nice Story. -A roaming world. -Creative enemies. -Some cameos and jokes are pretty funny. What's bad -A bit repetitive (specially secondary mission). -So so control. -Metal yes, but not enough hard to gets punk (it is my opinion). What's ugly -It is really hard to know what are my troops and what are the enemy troops. -Sometimes, it is really hard to know what to do. -The strategy part is a mess. However, sadly, the strategy part really ruins the entire game play.
