Neverwinter10
May 21, 2015
Free-to-play IS the future of gaming people. Can't say enough good things about Neverwinter. I have put more hours into this than most any of the games I stupidly dropped $60 on. This game is awesomely addictive and it is FREE-to-play. Neverwinter is one of the best games to hit console in a long, LONG time. Being free-to-play, you can put hundreds of hours into the game without dropping a penny, but most will feel the need or urge to upgrade their mount, companion, or to buy an additional bag to carry more items. Bottom line the game is a fantastic MMO with excellent combat, great co-operative online play, an addictive leveling system, plenty of depth, and a really nice colorful art style with a lot of variety to the enemies and environments. I want to give this game a 9.5 because the only thing holding it back from absolute greatness is the frame rate in some crowded areas and the main city (Protector's Enclave). The main city or main hub does have a lot of players running around, and you notice the frame rate drop right away. Although, once you venture out of the city the frame rate improves dramatically, and once you hit the dungeons it almost looks like it hits 50-60fps at times (probably between 30 and 40 realistically). Dungeons with max players runs pretty good actually. To any developers reading this. If you can up the frame rate and make it more consistent you have an absolute hit on your hands. Great job and thanks a ton for making a fantastic free-to-play MMO.

Destiny9

I'm just about to hit level 20 and still having an absolute blast playing Destiny, I haven't had this much fun playing an online co-op action/shooter/RPG in a while. In fact the game has gotten better every time I've played it. Destiny is a really great game. Sure, it has some flaws but they don't affect the great gameplay or awesome graphics so I honestly could care less about minor flaws. To me this game is pretty close to flawless. Don't listen to the whiny crybabies, Destiny is a legit game. There was wayyyyyy too much hype surrounding Destiny, but it ended up being a great finished product that will hopefully have positive continued support. Everyone that I know playing the game is liking it as much as I do. It's challenging, it takes some level of skill, finding new gear is cool, leveling up is fun, and the graphics are at times stunning. Destiny should be on everyone's list to try out online with friends. Anyone looking for a graphically stunning game with top notch gameplay and fantastic online multiplayer co-op should be checking out Destiny. Even the online PvP is great. This game is legit so don't pass it up, if they continue to support it I will be playing for a while. Compared to what's out for next gen console right now, Destiny offers a very worthwhile experience. Graphics: 9.5 Gameplay: 9.5 Online multiplayer: 9.5 Story: 7 Replay Value: 9.0

Don't buy NHL 15 this year! They basically took away everything people loved about the game and every enjoyable game mode. No more EASHL! No more playing as a created player online with friends! No online team play! This game is a complete JOKE!

EA Sports UFC9
Jun 17, 2014
Game is so much fun, especially playing against friends locally or online. The only thing I wish EA had focused more on is fighter individuality. Some of these fighters would NEVER attempt a spinning wheel kick, a tornado kick, or most any unorthodox zany kick. It would have been nice to see strikes that fit each fighter instead of looking odd or out of place. Otherwise the game is excellent.

Trials Evolution10
Apr 21, 2012
Trials Evolution has so much going on for a $15 game, it's almost funny when you compare it to the offerings of most $60 games. Trials Evolution gets the addition of online multiplayer and a really slick track editor, it's extremely cool. If you like the idea of creating your own crazy custom tracks and sharing them with your friends and the rest of the online community, then this game is a must buy. The track editing software is really deep, and the customization options will keep you busy for a long time. The online multiplayer works really well, both racing side by side, racing against ghosts, and downloading/racing user created tracks. Awesome game and a lot of fun.

Mass Effect 32
Mar 6, 2012
Repetition, repetition, repetition, talking, talking, talking, cut scene, wonky gun fight, cut scene, rinse and repeat. Save your money and buy Mass Effect 2 for a third the price! ME3 is practically the exact same game as ME2, besides the new online multiplayer "horde mode", but even this new multiplayer mode loses it's appeal quick, and i mean QUICK. Wait for ME3 to drop in price, or run out and buy ME2 used.

UFC Undisputed 310
Feb 25, 2012
UFC Undisputed 3 is the best game of the UFC/THQ series, a must have for any MMA fan, and especially if you are a Nick Diaz fan. The roster is pretty deep, this time including Nick DIaz, although a few guys will probably need be offered as DLC in the near future, it's enough to keep most of us happy for now. The graphics are great, and the gameplay is over the top addictive, plenty of subtle tweaks to the striking and ground game have put UFC Undisputed 3 above the rest of the games in the series. Go buy this game so I can knock you out online!

Rayman Origins10
Dec 1, 2011
Some of the most fun I've had playing or watching friends playing a video game in a long time. Rayman Origins is a beautiful looking game, the background music is epic (it will have you laughing out loud), and the gameplay couldn't be better. Not many, if any games out there have this level of style and fun, the gaming industry can learn a few things from Rayman Origins. This is the definition of a video game.

Battlefield 310

Battlefield 3 is the best Battlefield experience yet. The graphics are really impressive, surface textures, weather effects, explosions, they all look good, really good. Level designs are excellent, plenty of new maps to run, drive, and fly around in. I was a little worried about this game after playing the Beta, but they have produced a polished product that completely rules online multiplayer. Now I'm gonna blow stuff up.

Forza Motorsport 410
Oct 11, 2011
With or without Porsche, Forza 4 is the greatest racing game ever. This year brings serious online racing addiction with the new online Rivals mode. You can spend HOURS in Rivals mode, beating other Forza players lap times, beating rival after rival, all while leveling up, unlocking cars, and earning in game credits. Forza 4 has an enormous amount of great content, but Rivals mode is what takes the online racing experience to new heights. This game is a 10 out of 10, I'll surely be playing Forza 4 until the next generation console comes out.

Dark Souls10

Dark Souls is simply amazing, an addicting challenge, one the most beautifully made hardcore RPG games ever. It's hard to put Dark Souls down, it **** you in early on and keeps you grinding through hours and hours of death and rewarding conquest. This game will test your nerves and make your blood boil, you will die and you will die often. I guarantee your adrenaline will surge through the roof and you might even find yourself checking your pulse. Dark Souls is a **** **** and one hell **** time.

The long standing undisputed KING of online hockey, there isn't any sports game out there that can touch the EA NHL series. NHL 12 is both incredibly rewarding and incredibly addicting, pretty much the same as NHL 11 with just a few tweaks, but that's a really good thing. Playing the best online sports experience, leveling up your online pro, customizing your attributes and unlocked gear, competing against some great players, it's all here and it's all good.

Dead Island10
Sep 6, 2011
First off, I hate, HATE zombie games. I'll be 100% honest, I picked up Dead Island because of all the hype and because people mentioned it was "Fallout 3 with zombies". Well, with Fallout 3 being one of my favorite games in existence, and me being a **** for anything like it, I had to give this a chance. So yeah I bought into the hype, but bottom line, it's a really awesome game. I think Dead Island deserves a 9/10 across the board. The graphics and sound are both over the top good, the core game is a TON of FUN, and the feeling you get while playing is worth the price of admission. Throw a few online friends into the mix, turn your speakers up, and watch the blood fly. You'd have to be dead to not enjoy this game.

Earth Defense Force: Insect Armageddon10
Jul 5, 2011
At a retail price of $39, Earth Defense Force: Insect Armageddon is a TREMENDOUS value. My friend and I are having an absolute blast playing the co-op campaign (on the hard setting) online, literally blasting our way through everything we see. Unlocking the literally hundreds of weapons and leveling up my soldier class (Trooper) is extremely addicting and rewarding. Once I got my hands on that missile launcher that locks on, and that grenade launcher that fires six at a time, well things got very interesting. There's so much replay value after you've beaten the campaign, tons of weapons to unlock, plenty of soldier classes to level up, and a variety of game modes and difficulties including...INFERNO!!. When you see an online buddy fire a weapon that turns your entire TV screen into a blinding light, all the surrounding bugs go up in flames, and all the surrounding **** slowly collapse, you'll go, "Wow, this game is awesome".

Portal 24
Jul 4, 2011
Portal 2 is way too short and super boring at times, it was a cool game a few years ago but certainly not today. Portal 1 came in a cool package called the Orange Box with several other decent games, and I thought that was a fair way to sell it for $60. I'm very surprised they released Portal 2 as it's own full retail game, it's NOT worth anybody's $60, it's more of a $20 title for puzzle fans. This game should be picked up used and returned within a few days after you beat it, the multiplayer experience is just as dull. BORING!

You will totally forget that you are playing a video game! You will totally forget you are having fun! Intrigued? Okay! Do you like "Murder She Wrote"? Do you enjoy choose your own adventure books? Do you enjoy watching games instead of playing them? Are you bad at traditional video games? Well if you answered yes you SHOULD definitely buy L.A. Noire, a game that focuses on facial animation, voice acting, and the boring life of a wimpy little detective. It's so fun I forgot I was having any, wait a minute?

Are you STILL waiting for a reboot of the original Mech Assault? Please make it happen someone! Did you enjoy Defense Grid but felt a little left out of the action? Well you might as well stop reading right here and go buy Trenched. Trenched is THE best Xbox Live Arcade title to hit the Xbox Live marketplace. After playing cooperatively with a few friends online you'll soon discover what makes this game so damn good. I can already tell you Trenched will be a memorable game for me, almost as memorable as the original Mech Assault. Although it's mainly single player and co-op, the fun factor is still full force. I'm usually a multiplayer deathmatch kind of guy but the online co-op of Trenched keeps me just as interested and just as entertained. You need to play this game with friends online, it was meant to play with friends online. There is a surprising amount of customization, every Trench/Mech is different. Everything from the Trench/Mech chassis, paint job, weapon load out, field emplacements/turrets, and pilot/marine outfit are all customized by each player. There is a lot of strategy involved in picking the right weapon load out and field emplacements/turrets. To make it a little more user/beginner friendly the game suggests weapon load outs and field emplacements/turrets you should consider based on the map and enemy type. When you have friends involved, which you should, you can decide who's going to bring the up close and personal power and who is going to bring the long range precision stuff. The campaign is not too long but there is a good amount of replay value in getting gold medals on each map. When you have unlocked better weapons and better emplacements you can then further help your friends online in getting their gold in every map. Every map can be replayed once unlocked, so you can go back and try to get gold medals on any map that you haven't already. I've been on Xbox Live for 8 years now, since the days when Mech Assault was the hottest online multiplayer game going, well Rainbow 6 was probably tied for hottest. I'm STILL waiting for an HD reboot of Mech Assault (Please someone read this and make it happen)!. Until then I'll be playing Trenched. **Message to developers, anyone involved in this game: Trenched NEEDS a survival/horde/firefight mode! The inclusion of a survival/horde/firefight mode would keep the replay value of this game up for a long time. Please consider it along with DLC, my friends and I enjoy the game so much and we want MORE Trenched!!
