Opposite-Ad

This game is fun. The level design, the gameplay, the atmosphere... Everything is on point.

The story is bland, the world feels hollow, and the environments are sterile and devoid of atmosphere. The NPCs are uninspired and the gameplay is tedious. Numerous NPCs recycle the exact same dialogue, and the rooms are copy-pasted, often populated by the same enemies. In other words, this game is the exact opposite of BioWare games I came to know and love, such as Dragon Age: Origins and Mass Effect 2. This game is an overrated waste of time. I cannot tell what people see in this game. It has no redeeming qualities whatsoever outside of the sheer amount of content that I couldn't be bothered to explore.

Fatal Frame (aka Project Zero) is boring. The atmosphere is decent and the combat is better than I expected, but the positives end there. The characters feel unremarkable. The setting is OK, but the game doesn't look good visually. Unfortunately, both the US and the European releases cut the original audio completely. A fan-made undub exists, but I really wish I didn't have to waste my time figuring out how to play with the original audio.
