There will be endless debates about which Zelda game is better, this or ocarina. For me, it's this. Its 2D action adventure perfection. Still to this day I dont think there's another 2D action adventure that's as good at this. The controls are perfect, the story is there if you want it (I've completed this game at least 10 times and still have never read the story, which says more about me than it does the game), the levels are amazing, and the bosses ramp up the stakes each time you meet one. It has an amazing inventory which rarely gets the praise it deserves contains some of the coolest weapons ever in video games. Screen clearing with that thunder medallion never gets boring. But it's music which cements it in my top two snes games of all time. The tunes that the composer squeezed out of the tiny little sound chip are amazing, far surpassing the work of entire orchestra's in many modern games. It won't ever be my favourite game on the snes, but it will always the best game on the snes.

If you was expecting this to be the year FIFA won "the pitch" back your going to be sadly dissapointed. While 17 does have nice graphics and having all the licences for the real teams are nice, it severally lacks in any on pitch depth. Now it's time for the annual pro evo comparison. Does FIFA have deep a deep customisable tactical mini game that really lets you stamp your mark on a team? Of course not, it's the same as all the other years. How about being able to play the ball exactly where you want it to go based on your skill? nope it's like a magnet ball, the same as all the other years. And the passing has a slight delay... Which for any football game lover, such as myself is a cardinal sin. Do players still randomly fall over, yep of course they do. Do the players look better than they do in PES 17? No not even slightly, in FIFA they honestly look like clay models. The sweat and dirt effects and how the pitch rips up looks really good though. The journey is a welcome addition and is really fun.... Until you have to play some football, I feel they have tried to hard on the journey and making the visuals look like sky sports. Doing that they forgot about the important bit.... The football. I'm sure if you haven't tried this years edition of PES you can find some enjoyment in this, but after playing PES 17 you notice that FIFA 17 is lacking the love of the game which PES totally has. Konami knocked it out of the park with pro evo this year and it was up to EA to try and win back the real football lovers. But they haven't, rather than fix the issues that have been annoying total football lovers since 12, they decided to try a distraction technique which, while at the moment seems to be working. In 4 months down the line when Alex Hunters journey is a distant memory, will I still be playing FIFA 17? No. Full Kit W***er the video game it truly is. Dissapointing EA, must do better. 4/10

Ok to start with this game is not 10/10 I've just put that to counterbalance the morons who are giving it ones. It's a 9/10. It would be a ten but it has micro transactions and that always knocks a point off for me. People saying it doesn't have a story, nope it dosent, but every match tells a story. it's got to be played to be understood, you can't just run around with a gun being Rambo that's not what this game is! If your doing that your missing the point! If you refuse to embrace the game you are playing and keep playing the one you were playing *cough cough* cod, then your not going to have a good time, it's not cod! It's overwatch, it's a bit like TF 2 but with much more depth and some amazing maps, they don't top TF 2s maps yet but I can see blizzard pumping one out that might! Look this game is amazing, if you want to get told a deep story in an "interactive experience " you ain't going to get it here. But if you want the best VIDEO GAME for a generation, come get it!

Shadow warrior is a wonderful throwback to nineties fps madness. Armed with a sword, an arsenal of firepower and little magic, Wangs task is to retrieve the magical sword and destroy the invading demons! This game is filled with classic and cheesy one liners duke nukum style. Wonderful sword play makes the katana my weapon of choice but that takes nothing away from the guns, which are more than capable of slaying demons. This game is so much fun, you can lose hours chopping heads off or searching every corner to find the ever elusive secrets! Seventeen missions which take on avridge half an hour to complete, means there is a lot of game for a budget price. If I had to critisize, I would say some of the magic abilitys are confusing to pull off on an Xbox controller, but there not difficult! Once you have the technique mastered you will be using magic like the Wang master himself! Brilliant game, it's so refreshing to play an old school fps after years of military shooters.
