This is without a doubt THE BEST game I have ever played, ever. Tons and tons of replayability, overwhelming charm, keeping you in your toes time after time again. It’s just perfect to me. I even find myself growing affection for my colony the longer that they last, striving to see them survive and feeling genuine dread once I lose a long time buddy. Ten out of ten, ten out of ten. Ten. Out. Of. Ten.

Aside from a few rough edges, I find this game to be a satisfying and fun time overall. At times I couldnt find myself seeing where I was going due to the nature of the graphics in some stages, and I found myself feeling as if you had to play near perfectly, never falling out of as much as 3rd place to stand even a chance at winning. It feels as if it needs a few more worthwhile inclusions to step up to its true potential. (Of course, there’s a sequel and all, as I’m soon to play it.) I wouldnt knock it

More used to the simpler, mmmmm plain sailing LEGO games, I found myself a little overwhelmed first approaching this game. Suddenly thrown into what can seem quite convoluted and almost chaotic in the eyes of a casual fan, I wasn't the strongest fan of this first impression, but I pressed on, seeing the potential fun in sticking around. For what it is, it’s a pretty solid game, holding my attention well enough, it setts out to do what it’s good at, with it’s expansive roster and a good amount of things to discover, but I’m just not a fan of this particular formula overall.

I find this game more favorable amongst the others. The combat I find compelling, not groundbreaking— but most compelling, making the best of the given concepts with favorable executions. The story kept my attention with a strong grip, having me basically at the edge of my seat at times, wanting to see what happens next above all. The side quests, having l this distinct feeling of soul to them just made me eager for more. I think this one of the best I’ve played in quite a while
