Not bad, but definitely not worth years of waiting or the current price. The new characters are hit-or-miss, most being miss, and the new story parts are just kind of haphazardly smushed into the old plot and don’t actually change anything but the game does have better graphics and gameplay. If you play persona for the technical details and gameplay elements you’ll love royal, but if you are here more for the story you’ll probably not like it.
