Hand down one of the best games I have ever played. A captivating experience that I will never forget.

This game might leave soemthing to be desired for performance and visuals, and I found it highly annoying that it tries so hard to copy soulslike combat instead of trying something unique, but it deserves a score so high for only one thing; its level design. It's like something I've never seen before, the levels are so mazy, huge, sprawling. At first they're somewhat small and slightly linear, but as you progress through the game and unlock things like the grappling hook (which adds verticality to the levels) and progress some side quests to access side areas they become huge. The writing leaves something to be desired for sure, but I think this game has one outstanding strength that counterweighs all the shoddy stuff in it; the level design.

Terrible game. Combat is repetitive, barely any story so to speak of, world is ugly and desaturated, weird cel-shading (obviously to hide the awful lack of anti-alias, but still the performance leaves a lot to be desired). Dips below 60fps all the time, on next-gen console hardware, while looking WORSE than some select PS3 games, in the same timeline where games like Demon's Souls Remake and Horizon FW maintain rock-solid 60 FPS with higher resolutions and photorealistic graphics. I'm not asking for photorealism here, I'm just asking for performance commensurate to a game, something that incompetent Japanese developers seem to never be able to get right. The game is also ridiculously short despite being completely devoid of substance. It's a crime that this was sold for $60.

Practically a 1:1 copy of the original in a fresh sheen. BluePoint's remake magic could never get a better display.

Great game. The graphics look literally photorealistic, and the gameplay, you know it, it doesn't get much cooler then shooting robodinosaurs. I'm not too deep in the story so I can't comment much on that, but overall the game is something else.
