Wrecked: Revenge Revisited9
Apr 6, 2012
We spend two evenings playing Wrecked and what can I say? You have to play it with good friends! It's like a HD version of Mashed, the gameplay is still extremely funny and needless to say that you have to prevent your neighbours because of all the noise while playing the game. :-) I absolutely can not understand the bad reviews. Wrecked is that what I expected from a sequel! Yes, I still miss the highway-track but everything else is perfect!

No as bad as the reviews are telling. The game is average, but all in all a solid survival horror with a key focus on survival and not on action - quite interesting for a lot of people today! You can spend the 10 bucks better, but if you like the genre and if you want to play something outside the mainstream with interesting characters, than try it. It is really not a complete desaster but I could be better, that's right.

Soldner-X 2: Final Prototype - The Last Chapter9
Nov 22, 2011
One of my favorite game in 2010! The graphics are excellent and the gameplay is oldschool, but fun. That's basically because of the interesting levels, the good coop mode and the exciting boss fights. You will come back later to unlock all the stages so you will probably play 10-12 hours to unlock everything. Nice for a shump!

Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit4

Horrible controls and a rubber band AI. Two things that are intolerable in a racing game. Sure the graphics are nice, the autolog-functionality is quite nice and the cars look beautiful, but overall it was just a shame, that Criterion is about to loose it's core fans because of such an unbalanced game.

A true classic, an awesome art stlye and an experience that you will never forget! Sure, it gets repetitive and the game is quite short, but in the end, this is a true independent game that makes so much fun even if there are some trial and error sections.

Yes, the gameplay gets repetitive. But Shank is a really enjoyable little game with a nice art design that deserves positive reviews. The length is little bit short (4-6 hours), but the coop-mode works well and invites to come back for more.

What a perfect transition of one, if not the best arcade racer ever released! The controls work well (not like in Daytona USA 2001 or CCE) and the multiplayer-mode is really good working. Nice game, not overpriced, but sure, it's an old edge of arcade gaming and with only 3 tracks, not so much to be played. But true fans know what they are getting: A simple arcade-perfect transition! Now, please release Scud Race next time. :-)

Chime Super Deluxe9

An elegant puzzle game that pics up the best parts from Tetris and Lumines and puts its own concept in it. The mulitplayer-mode is really, really good, we enjoyed it a lot.

What an impressive game! Like REZ, a true classic game that you can play whenever you want. The gameplay is simple, but addictive, the presentation marvellous and the sound awesome. Overall, a little bit short, but the price (18 รข

A good 4-Player-Coop, but still disappointing controls. The leveldesign is beautiful, the ideas well integrated, but the game is overall a little big short, if you don't want to find everything hidden. The level editor is impressive, but I think, I'm not talendet enough to create really good levels.

Deus Ex: Human Revolution8

A really interesting game with a lot of good ideas and an exciting cyberpunk atmosphere. But the shooting is still disappointing and the there are some difficulty up- and downturns that shouldn't be in it.

What an excellent platformer, like in the old days! It's amazing to see, that publishers begin to understand, that 2D games arn't dead. Far from it, RO is one of the most superb looking games out there because of its wonderful (native) 1080p support, handdrown backgrounds and beautiful animations. Beside the technical point, that still impresses me after 6 hours of gaming, the gameplay is really good, surely because of the great controls. It's just perfect to control the characters and jump over large holes and impressive landscapes. The 4-Player-Coop is a blast! The whole game works better than Little Big Planet 2 or New Super Mario Bro.s. And there are ton content to unlock and find. A real masterpece! The only downside, and that's why the game gets "only" 9/10: There are a few trial & error passages and some frustration level design (like in the old days: the water levels... :-( ). But all in all: Best buy this year, I hope that we will see a lot of more 1080p-2D-Games! Sonic perhaps and not this "Generations" blah with overdrown gameplay mechanics. ;-)

Jagged Alliance 2: Unfinished Business9
Mar 11, 2011
A really disappointing Jagged version for the DS: A lot of features were dropped: there are several issues concerning the motivation curve that drops down in later stages because of bad design decisions (accuracy, fire rate, different hit boxes, more "casual actions" possible etc.). That's why It's even not a good PC port, sadly. ,*-( Technically, the game isn't bad, but lacks of smooth scrolling. It's just a shame, that nothing new was added and the game feels a little bit "unfinished".
