I bought both of Fallouts in the store as a collectors edition, and boy, that night got me hooked. And that was around when i was in high school. The best aspects for that time and now, is the dialogue, plus some moments that wasnt in the all time serious plus the satirical moments the game had. The main story is good/ok but the best part of it is you dwelve in to the lore and get to know about the alternate world we are set in. The voice acting is good, specially they used some actors that you will recognize, there are goofs and a lot of easter eggs. Plus using the vats to target each part even the Groin area the npc's have always a snarky comment, even its hilarious when you set the intelligence in to the lowest setting where the dialogues do drastically change. The mechanics are a mix bag depending on how the gameplay goes, and the turn based system is not perfect nor bad. Plus inventory management got also its own curse no matter who owns the franchise. As to the graphics, this is where the curse of the franchise begins... even it got great moments where you see the neat details in each game but you play it today, it doesnt age well. As to the sound, music slash ambient music, this game nails it, all games do. Each with their own creations it does have the vibe where you get to hear the creepy vibe of a post nuclear world

An interesting game, still in Alpha, this review will change accordingly if things dont go south but the game still have the potential since it starts great in sense of some things you can do, you control a bunch of colonists, mostly clones and you kind off build your settings for a ship and send them, cool entry , they land, nice sounds, you control mostly every aspect of their life, this will remind you the aspect of Kenshi. Dont mind the crude 3D graphics but why the 4, its some of the features that are already set, specially the after effects of the game, the camera is set to do a filter like if your seeing a 3D movie without the glasses, the after image is called Stereocopic imaging, i think... is when you separate 3 or 4 images by a few milimiters apart and forms a ghost around them and you literally see the red and blue effect like in old 3D movies, the game will not give you a warning for people who can suffer epileptic seizures, where there are flashes and there is the after effect images in which also can strain you eye sight if you plan to play for hours, its a feature because the announcement artwork shows the same effect and the devs are quite hard on not giving at least an option to remove the effect, it doesnt have to be removed completely if its an art choice, and since the game is based in unity you can easily create different sets of scripts for the camera assets , is like come on.... Even in the menus the edges of each box option are blurry. Still in alpha, there is potential for this to be great and grow, there stil bugs, the last time i played it there were no way to advance in time, no 2x, no 4x and im guessing until they improve performance this will come in, and in performance some hiccups but not a problem for my computer that is somewhat 7 to 5 years old in the sense of hardware, the AMD CPU is older than my 1080Nvidia plus adding 14Gb ram also old, one day i will upgrade the CPU.

The good, the bad and the ugly, i went through normal/max difficulty raking at 45 hours, used one third of my items and materia, limit breaks are sometimes rare when activated in normal mode. I also tried some scenes in tha game as easy , well, is easy. Some people might like it and some people might not like it, and here is the reason i'm giving it a seven (OK). The soundtrack, yes, worth it, some music that you will remember sound better, as if it was taken from the albums of Two step from hell, immediate music, positron music, Ivan Torrent, etc etc, all those stuff you find in their sites and youtube. The game straight out from the start fleshes the story from the original FF7 from the Ps1/PC back in the days, give more scenes and details on how each part is progressed by telling you more, and other moments that happened in between chapters from the old game, but some moments and parts you tend to wonder, "at this pace or decision making in the story is quite dumb/not smart so that you spend more time in levels or adding to the drama or pushing it as a shore". Still the story even with its flaws carries the game in most parts but quare-enix is once again going almost, not completely in to the (borderline) / returning to the non-condensed-monotonous BS way story telling of few games back then like kingdom hearts 3 and FF13-2, good games in some aspects but bad storytelling (not story wise in some aspects). I haven't played FF15 so i don't know how they transitioned. We got a few cool battle moments that some of it were worth it while others were seriously annoying, not because it is difficult, it is because sometimes the companions were "kinda" AI dumb or dead, seeing sometimes Barret going in circles glitching out, also seeing all of them just sitting there doing nothing but some battles it was just mostly a 1 vs 1 battle instead of 3 vs 1 battle and sometimes i used the exploit of the AI limited attention span to the player controlled character. But i would prefer that the enemy and specially some bosses would been programmed to be more of beating your butt even it uses their own spells that is fun. Also another annoying issue is some spells from enemies didn't have status markers specially paralyzing attacks, weren't stop/slow/sleep as they were rare in game, annoying but i got used to it, summons are also cool, not important but still cool to use and also necessary to cut short any long battle specially the chocobo summon
