In The Witcher 3, you simply enjoy exploring – everything feels interesting and rewarding. The only issue is for beginners, as it takes some time to get used to upgrades, weapons, and skills. There’s also a bit too much going on in the HUD at first.

The game feels exhausting at times – you’re constantly running, falling, sinking, with explosions everywhere, always barely grabbing onto something like in an average action movie. It becomes very predictable. You end up feeling tired along with the character, and there isn’t much freedom in movement. Cutscenes are frequent, especially during some boss fights, so you don’t really feel like you accomplished anything – the game often resolves things for you instead of letting you play them out. Overall, it’s quite predictable, and honestly, I don’t really understand why it has such high ratings.

The game is really good and interesting. The only downside is that both main missions and side missions are solved in pretty much the same way – you end up using the same skills for everything, which makes it a bit predictable and easy to complete. The enemies also feel kind of blind at times, so after a few hours the game becomes easier and you’re not afraid to face even a large number of opponents if needed.

Game is absolutely excellent – an adventurous, challenging, and puzzle-driven experience with a great story and well-developed characters. The combat and weapons are also very good, and the game never feels boring. The only small downside is that you need to have played God of War (2018) to fully understand and appreciate the characters. But both games are easily a 10/10 – highly recommended.
