Much better than expected! When I get the PS Plus free games every month, some of them I complete, and others I do one or two plays, and delete if I don't enjoy them. I was sure Color Guardians would belong to the latter, but I was amazed by how addictive it was to play, and I simply couldn't stop myself from wanting to complete the whole game! Positive: Addictive gameplay Easy to learn, difficult to master No stress, just enjoyable and simple Negatives: Not very interesting or original story No way I'm going to go back and try to collect every orb No real difference between characters

I was very disappointed that this was not a local multiplayer game. The game is far from perfect, and not nearly as fun as far older versions of this kind of game, but nostalgically it could still have been fun if it could be a 'sofa' game, but as a game to play online, it is not fun or special enough to waste time on.

A fun little time waster. I wouldn't play this on my own, but with my brother, on the sofa in the evenings, it is good fun. It would have been nice with some leveling, and more loot/things to spend it on, but it is a fine little game.

Not a bad game, not amazing. Campaign was good in parts, but sometimes felt a bit meaningless, and the last mission with the stealth was VERY frustrating. OWL was interesting, but felt more ****.

I really enjoyed this game, and although it took longer than I may have liked, it was still a satisfying and enjoyable game to game to play till the end. Highlights: Shangri-la missions, campaign not black and white morally, elephants, lots of diversity in what to do, stealth missions when it goes well. Lowlights: Steal missions when they don't go well, too much to do with many side missions that are really not that interesting.

I actually very much enjoyed this game. Prior to this I had just complete The Witcher 3, and this was a welcome change to something more cinematic based, and shorter. There is a lot of criticism regarding how short this game is, and how much of it is cinematic. I understand this, but for me liked this. The shooting or adventure parts were nicely dispersed between the scenes that let the story unfold. It felt like a natural progression, and I was really happy not having to loot, look for secrets, have a million side quests, and never feel like I did everything. For those looking for an interesting game for a few nights, with a nice story, I heartily recommend this game. For those looking for hours and hours of shooting, blasting, swordplay and random quests, stay away!

I understand that this game is not for everyone. I guess I am the one it is not for, but for me this is neither a fun game nor an interesting game to play. Having read the overwhelmingly positive reviews, I was quite excited to play it, but I quickly realised that it was frustrating with little reward. There are so many other far more interesting and stimulating games to play, that I can not understand why people would spend 45+ hours playing this one. I certainly will not, and have uninstalled the game again, spending my time playing limbo, FEZ and Stealth Inc 2 II instead, games that are challenging AND interesting.

I found this to be nothing special. Nice visuals, hints of a beautiful story, repetitive uninteresting gameplay. I wouldn't waste my time playing this for free on the internet so why on my PS4?

Good fun game, really nicely told story. Some of the game mechanics are a bit frustrating, like not really feeling when you are getting shot, so you seem to die all of a sudden, and being able to just sort of run around avoiding enemies with no problem. Still, a fun game.

I think I might have really enjoyed this about 20 years ago. However, with the quality and depth of games now a days, I don't see the point in playing a game like this, where you are just doing the same thing over and over again. Not bad at what it does, just not very fun or interesting.

Probably this is a fairly decent iOS or Android game, but for a playstation game it is simply to shallow, and I have far better things to do (and games to play) than waste my time on this.

Probably my expectations were too high. Yes the graphics are great, the world is big, the missions are varied and more interesting than in previous GTA's, but somehow I didn't feel like I cared much. Maybe the guys were all too much **** maybe some of the voices and swearing was too purile, but the game for me was just not that enjoyable to play. And buying properties seemed pointless.

A simple, interesting puzzle game. Enjoyable to play, very nice music, and nice story. The extra information and collectibles added some extra depth to the game too.

Maybe the best game I have ever played in my life, or at least among them. I had high expectations after hearing so much about it, and it lived up and exceeded them. Beautiful, immersive, surprisingly fun multiplayer and fantastic story, definitely recommended!

Very nice, fun game. Good puzzles, and good controls. Definitely recommended. The story is nice, simple, but probably you'll need subtitles. Graphics upgrade make it look very nice even on a big screen.

A nice minimalist look, but uninteresting, and very repetitive. I gave it a go for 5 mins, and lost interest and deleted. Would have been sorely disappointed if it wasn't free. Maybe should have played longer to get a better feel, but from reading description and other's comments, I would only have been wasting my time.
