It seemed that Mina had a lot of things I really like in games. An homage to different genres, very stylish and made with passion. Unfortunately it didn't bring me joy or engagement like the games it was influenced by (Zelda, Souls, little bit of Animal Well). Combat is really frustrating, exploration is stopped by enemies everywhere. Platforming is quite hard. There are modifications, sure, but they disable feats. So the game basically says git gud, or you won't experience it fully. I don't know, maybe nostalgia does not work on me. If you like very demanding combat and hard games overall and you have a lot of time to retry stuff, it's for you. If you look for something more about exploration it might not be for you (I mean, you can still turn on modifications so you'll be invincible, so who knows.) [so apparently it's impossible to have valid criticism of this game, like stiff unfun combat, people will still write to git gud..]

Beautiful, captivating, hard as hell. Mesmerising world design. Exploration is rewarded. One can lose themselves for hours in it.

I wanted to like this game but its age is showing. If you played it when it was first released and your nostalgia is strong it's a good title. But if you only started your adventure with dungeon crawlers it might be too outdated. Especially boss fights, when the difficulty suddenly raises. There's a lot of grind. Being a cartographer is fun though. Most character portraits are nice to look at (except the ones which are overtly sexualised).

After many years this game is still great. Fantastic immersion, thoughtful design, magnificent sense of exploration. It's best to play it without knowing anything as it helps with immersion. Seriously, if you still haven't play it, do. Base building could be better though, it's quite clunky.

Nada nuevo, una versión inferior a la de PSP y iPad. El juego es adictivo de por sí, pero la falta de traducción en un juego con una historia tan compleja es terrible. No es tan difícil traducir el juego.

the writing has the level of teenage fanfiction, asking protagonist if they are "team vampire or team werewolf" is seriously cringe (and there's no option to not choose in that particular scene). Try older but much better Va-11 Hall-a if you want bartender visual novel

I was really excited for this game, as I liked the original. Unfortunately Capcom delivered a really flawed game, that looks and plays like from early PS4 era. The dialogues and story are unimaginative, not well delivered, badly written. The world feels soulless and I was unable to immerse myself in it. The NPC’s are bland and unresponsive (they don’t react when you enter to their home at night or when you escape prison). Fights could be entertaining but are extremely chaotic and lack a good fighting flow. There are serious framedrops in the city, even when it’s mostly empty. On top of that I’m unable to have another save to start a fresh adventure! And there are mtx in a single player game, and very nasty ones. What is sad is that I can’t even get a refund as a PS5 player. I really wanted to love it, like I loved the first part, but this game is a joke. Exploration is a chore, there are no real fun “secrets”, or environmental storytelling, Don’t buy this game now, wait for sale. Seriously, it looks so dated and plays like an a really old game.
