Only reason you're seeing so many negative reviews is racism. That's sadly all there is to it. As for the game itself, it's alright. You play as someone working with a professor, her student, your brother, and close friend yo take back artifacts, some of which were stolen from you or ripped from a historical site for the sake of profit. The game teaches you about these artifacts with history lessons, and they're very engaging and interesting. The gameplay is parkour based as you utilize that mechanic to escape the site safely, but has puzzle elements that add a challenge to it. While I plan to beat it, though, it does feel very surface level for now. I may edit this review if anything changes, but all in all, it's alright. I'm only giving it a 7, though, cause of a character with a stereotypical Asian accent. Even if he's voiced by a Chinese person, that still doesn't sit well with me cause of how they had him voice the character.

Pokemon Legends: Z-A8

So, I can't believe I have to say this, but virtually all of the negative reviews on here are, 9 times out of 10, from someone who hasn't touched the games at all, if grifters saying the games only recently introduced genders and claimed liking the game is akin to alcoholism indicate anything. With that said, the game's good. The battle mechanic are a neat take on a usually turn-based formula, as they swapped it out with a real-time format. Usually, I'm not big on stuff like real-time strategy games or tactical games, which I expected from this when first playing the game as that's what the battle system felt like at first. However, I came around to it, as it's more of an action-RPG in that sense. I've no idea why I thought otherwise about it. The Z-A Royale is pretty much the only way to earn money, and it ends up feeling like a chore to do because of it. Usually, it's only needed to be done when you gotta raise your rank, but you'll find yourself having to play it even when you're not doing a promotion match because, again, money. Thankfully, a story related event helps with that so you don't have to go through it for that long. A lot of the new Mega Evolutions look pretty good, but I'm genuinely confused about some of them. People were begging for Mega Flygon & Mega Milotic, and they gave us Megas for Starmie and freaking Drampa instead? And mind you, I like Drampa a lot cause of how doofy it looks, but did it really need a Mega? It doesn't help that Mega Starmie looks awful. It, too, did not need a Mega Evolution. The characters are all really well done, save for one of the characters devolving into a parasocial megafan of a streamer. The game does a good job making you care about them and also making you not like the ones you're supposed to not like. Although, one of them the game tries to pain as a good person when they're a loan shark using people for unpaid labor after charging them interest rates so high it'd put Walmart out of business. I don't understand that at all. The story, much like X & Y before it, has a lot of critiques on capitalism, most notably in regards to the renovation project and the wild zones popping up, either forcing people out of their homes or forcing people to live in said zone, prone to potential attacks from wild Pokemon. The visuals are fine. They're not awful, they're not terrible, and anyone who is genuinely bothered by it should be banned from using the meme of Sonic saying he wants shorter games, lesser graphics, smaller game sizes, etc., and we all know they ARE that kind of hypocrite. I haven't beaten the game yet(how Joe of Serebii beat the main story in 17 hours, I don't know), but so far, I'm definitely enjoying it, even with my grievances. I'm surprised to say it, but IGN giving it an 8 fits the bill. In conclusion, people pretending to be Pokemon fans in order to grift off of weirdly angry and ignorant people for the sake of making money off of them manage to make the loan shark in the game look like a saint. I can't believe that's what life is like now.

This is arguably the best step in the right direction Sonic can take. Sonic has managed to reinvent himself in an amazing way. Everything about it feels so fresh, right down to the character development that everyone gets. Even Eggman ends up coming off as relateable, especially with the Egg Memos you can get through fishing(and the fishing is actually fun now!!). Only gave it a 9, though, due to minor grievances such as Cyberspace levels not being too great for the most part, and cause of an upgrade system that for whatever reason has 2 skill upgrades be instantaneous with multiple level raises at a time and the other 2 being done one level at a time. Otherwise, this is arguably the best 3D Sonic game of all time. Yes, even better than Generations.

Ignore the positive reviews, they forgot that this site isn't Steam. Long story short, this game is horrendously bad.

Allister is a good boi. Pay no mind to the negative reviews, it's just a bunch of trolls with nothing better to do with their miserable lives. Honestly, the game's amazing. The graphics are beautiful(don't judge it based on a single tree, for Pete's sake), the gameplay is enjoyable, and, tbh, my only real criticism is that Dynamax/Gigantimax is rather limited. Though, you'll likely be doing so many Max Raid Battles that you'll barely notice how limited it actually is in Story Mode, in that you can only do it in certain locations such as Gym Battles and specific story battles. I'm just under 40 hours in, and kinda don't wanna stop, which is only an issue cause I've still got a ton of other games I wanna play. The trolls are in the minority, no matter how many bots accounts spam hate. Happy catching ^^

Not only is it buggy as Hell(Resiliency doesn't work for me, either), not only is Universe Mode screwing up CAWs, not only are the 2K Towers designed to **** for casual gamers and gamers with not as great skill(not one of them is on Easy mode, and the Roman Towers is locked to Legend), not only am I scared to create a CAW and do MyCareer out of fear of impending game-breaking issues, not only are there graphical glitches, not only did the game crash on me after I didn't nothing with it for 3 minutes, not only are the new moves's animations sped up as if they were carried over since the THQ WWE games, not only is the control scheme made solely to be different and is rough as balls, not only does it feel like reversing is even harder to do(whether cause **** or the new button layout is up to you), and not only are you unable to sync any Trophies as it glitches that out somehow(how do you f*** up the trophy syncing?!?!), **** game has the absolute balls to have the preorder bonus, which is always meant as an early reward for early buyers, be delayed by a week. Yes, the preorder bonus, which CLEARLY seemed ready in the YTer videos for those that got review copies, was somehow not ready for release on Day One, meaning that it was clearly done this way to make sure they get early copies sold and then decide to bring up that it won't be ready A WEEK BEFORE IT'S RELEASED. Now, I dunno if it's true or not that they had to rebuild the game from the ground up, but, if this is true, you're telling me that you couldn't have just asked Yuke's for the source code, and you're telling me that you didn't even OWN the source code for the games in the first place? This is an astronomical level of insanity. Sonic Boom: Rise of Lyric and Mighty No 9's respective launches were seamless and perfect compared to this. It's utterly astonishing, too. Like, how in God's name did they f*** up this bad? Oh, and VC earnings still ****, and the Accelerator, originally bought to let you unlock everything whenever you choose, is now automatic in terms of unlocking everything, including with MyCareer and 2K Showcase unlocks. This decision is not fun, because it doesn't feel rewarding at all. My usual process has been to use the VC to unlock a few characters(usually 1 of each character, arena, and belt) and THEN use the Accelerator, so that I can feel like I earned some of them. This? This just feels like I've been handed the Nobel Peace Prize when I did nothing productive or worthy of it and only have my name and position in power to ride on, AND that I got the position in power by cheating my way through. I'm sure I'll feel better when Bump in the Night is released, as I can at least unlock The Fiend normally with that(I hope), but I'm not even sure any patches will save this entry, ESPECIALLY with the process of patching these games always being that there's usually a Day One patch(which hasn't happened yet, I guess) and one patch for each DLC pack released, and then it's ignored for the next entry, and such is the curse of yearly releases of games, not just WWE games specifically. 2K, ya done f***ed it up. BIG time.

The fact that critics think this game is inferior to the remake on Vita that tries barely anything new or interesting as a remake is concerning. This game took a ton of liberties to make it more akin to the Mana series without changing too much of the plot, and they call said plot too basic? Even though it, again, is technically the same plot as the original aside from SOME changes? It's just surprising, as even the gameplay is pretty great. Instead of the meter rising or being required to max out, each attack builds up a meter, allowing you to do a sort of charge attack once the meter is full, and it allows you to choose when to do the charge attack, too, so you don't HAVE to use it right away. Not to mention, you can play as the heroine in this one, and it adds SO much to her character and helps us care more about her. Not to mention that Willy has a somewhat bigger role in this remake, outside of "generic death to fuel the hero's determination." Heck, the story shows some extra stuff in the beginning to have us know what Dark Lord did, giving us more reason to care about the hero's desire to beat him, aside from "Mana is in trouble." Like, seriously, who says it like that, and how is that enough of a motivational incentive? I repeat. The fact that critics think Adventure of Mana is the better remake(while it also has a lower Metacritic score than this one so how the fu-) is just concerning. Let's hope they'll rerelease this version someday, cause I doubt a 3rd remake will do it proper justice.
