As a fan of the show I have been looking forward to this game for a while, despite the delays. So when it finally came out I purchased it immediately and fired it up. What I found is a game that has game-play and graphics that would be considered sub par on a PS2 system, much less a PS3. The controls are clunky with nothing to do more than repeatedly mash buttons with no rhyme or reason. The enemy A.I. and design are repetitive, and require nothing more to defeat than to keep mashing buttons. There is a bit of "RPG" elements in the game, as you can level up, but that means nothing more than a new move becomes available that you usually will never use over simply punching enemies until they fall over, which they do easily. It's no wonder this game was delayed, and even canceled for the Wii U, because the developers most likely knew it was terrible and they didn't want to waste their time porting it. This game is possibly the reason the show got canceled. It would be more fun to sit in front of the TV watching an episode of the show holding a PS3 remote and pretending you are playing a game. My biggest regret is that I purchased the game as a download, and now I'm stuck with it. Because I would trade it now for a cup of coffee and a donut.

I went into this game thinking that it was going to be at the very least pretty good given all the slobbering reviews and perfect scores from "professional reviewers" and the general public. But after playing it for a number of hours, I still haven't figured out what it is about this game that makes people think it deserves the accolades it's being given. It's not a bad game, it's a good game. It's far from perfect, and it's FAR from the "game of the year" love fest that has been heaped upon it. It took several hours of playing before I even started to care what happened to any of the characters, and was even glad one of them died so early. The repetitiveness of the game play was enough to bore me so much that I actually had to make myself continue to play it, just so I could try and get my $60 worth. The AI is at times non existent. Many times my character would be hiding from an enemy, but the NPC character with me would be running around bumping into the enemies, but they wouldn't notice?!? This is what I like to call a "rinse and repeat" game. You enter a "level", look for ammo, nuts and bolts, maybe a new weapon or a health kit, fight off a swarm of the same enemies, and then move on to the next level and do it all over again. And in between you are subjected to the emotional issues of each character and how they are trying not to get too close to each other for fear of losing someone they care about again. *Snore* Like I said, not a bad game, it's a "good" game, but not even close to a game of the year candidate.

Wow, what a great addition to an already fantastic game! Red Dead Redemption was (is) one of the best games to come down the pipe in a long time and for Rockstar to give the fans something like Undead Redemption makes you feel like they really appreciate those of us who played the game. There is so much to do in this game it's almost like playing the first one again for the first time. Except with Zombies! Seriously though, you can tell that great care was put into this game to make it an original experience and not just the same game with a macabre story line thrown in. It has it's own time line and "universe" and the simple things like the little comments made by Marston and the people who populate the towns are hilarious. This game, although very dark with it's visuals and storyline, is extremely funny. It's almost like a parody of all the zombie games that populate the video game world. It gives us a great game to play while not taking itself too seriously. If you loved ed Dead Redemption, or even if you haven't played it, you should give this one a try.

Same game. Different system. The graphics are beautiful, as we knew they would be, but it's the same thing that Gran Turismo has been doing since the beginning. Buy a car, win some races make some money, buy more cars, win more races, rinse and repeat. There is absolutely nothing here that warrants shelling out $60 to buy this game unless you are simply a Gran Turismo fanatic. Rent it just to take a look at the great visuals but don't waste money on a purchase if you have ever played a Gran Turismo game before. Because you've played this game already.

As an illustrator I wanted to pick this up so that my son would be able to practice his drawing skills since he uses the Wii so much (and I was curious to see how well it worked myself). So far I have found myself trying to see just how good a drawing (or painting) I can make. I was very surprised at how responsive this tablet really is. After you connect your Wii remote to the tablet and fit it into the slot, It works very well and the included software really has enough tools to actually create a very nice piece of artwork. Changing tools and correcting mistakes is as easy as pressing a button. You can save the file to an SD card and upload it to your computer to do with as you see fit. If you also pick up "Pictionary" to go with it, get ready to have a blast playing this game as the UDraw tablet works perfectly with the game. If your child loves to draw or even if a parent loves to draw the UDraw tablet for the WII is a great choice and you won't be disappointed.

Games like Costume Quest come along only once in awhile. No fanfare, it just sort of "Shows up". Sometimes games like this are a bust,but sometimes you take a chance and suddenly you are glad you did. This game is one of those games that makes you WANT to keep playing and when it is over you are sad to see it go. It makes use of what got most people into video games in the first place, your imagination. It's a little on the short side but at the price, you really do get what you pay for. I would have been glad to pay double the price for this game on a disc if it had been a little longer but it is a fantastic game nonetheless. I was pleasantly surprised at how much fun it really was.

First off, you won't find a better looking game anywhere. The visuals are some of the best I've seen in a long while and are comparable to anything out there right now. The fighting style is top notch and will have you playing and replaying levels just so you can try and complete a certain trial. It's not a typical Castlevania game but that is a good thing here. It's time for the series to evolve and this is a great first step. The enemies are just right for this type of game and it's more than a "Hack and Slash" it's a game that will actually make you stop and think of what the best way to make it through each level is. Old school Castlevania fans and purists might balk at the game play but for those looking for a change of pace but still keeping with the Castlevania mythologies you won't be disappointed if you play this game.
