I have not been this engaged and immersed to a video game from the start in quite a long time. I never been a fan of metroidvania type sidescrollers, however the beautiful way Ori maneuvers within his environment makes the combat and exploration so addicting. I found myself mindlessly visiting old areas whenever I picked up a new power to see what hidden areas I could unlock, seriously one of the most beautiful games I have played on the Switch Lite. A must have in any collection even if you are not a fan of metroidvania like platformers.

I was fairly close to giving this a 7, however the few creative stages within New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe, makes this a close 8. The only flaw I have with this game is the pacing, compared to older games like SMB 3, the levels do not feel cohesive. Certain areas are not very memorable while others really shine such as the spooky forest, and more boring ones like Rock Candy Canyon. Really wish we could see far more unique worlds and consistent level design.

A beautiful experience filled with intriguing characters, beautiful writing/story, addicting and tough puzzles filled with creative boss encounters. I couldn't let this game down, and the fact that I couldn't stop thinking about it even after completion says how much of an impact the story had on me. 100% recommend to everyone who are not a fan of puzzle games and want to try out a different type of game within the genre. P.s Persona fans will love the artstyle.

Operation Winback is a insanely engaging stealth shooter with memorable characters and cutscenes full of charm borrowing influences from classic action movies of the time. The cover system is enjoyable and doesn't run stale due to the beautiful level design. Definitely a hidden gem deserving of more praise.
